Nasty Gal Store credit stolen, account got deleted

I used to order many clothes from nastygal. They clothes end up very poor fabric and very bad craftsmanship. They looks very cheap. So I returned a lot of my orders. I have two accounts using two email addresses. Sometime around 2017. They deleted both of my accounts without making a peep. I just tried to login into my account and got screen message saying that my emails / accounts are not found. So awful. I do have all the email trails they sent to me showing that I have combined store credit of $89.

So many people are victimized by this company, a class action law suit should be in-acted. Should any one wanna pursuit this class action lawsuit, please let me know

I have a very similar issue. I had made a purchase using PayPal and when I returned it NastyGal gave me a store credit instead of refunding my PayPal. The $648 in credit was in my NastyGal account and when they were acquired by Boohoo my account was deleted and I could no longer access my credit. This was understandably very frustrating and as the new parent company they should have reached out but instead they didn't and I fought endlessly with Boohoo to refund my credit to PayPal which is what NastyGal was supposed to have done but when they said they couldn't do that I accepted store credit. They send me 13 merchandise credits, each for $50 each, the credits have no expiration date written on them. A few months after they were issued I used one of them to purchase a couple items but when I received the clothing I was disappointed by the quality and decided to wait to use the rest of the credits when purchasing pajamas or throwaway shoes or accessories that I would give as gifts to younger nieces and cousins. I just went to use the credit- 18 months after it was issued and when I enter the code they say expired. I wrote to NastyGal/Boohoo through their customer service portal and explained the issue in detail but they said something akin to "sorry they expired, nothing we can do about it." I wrote back and explained that they do not have any expiration dates on them or I certainly would have used them by now and they wrote again "sorry but we're sure you were notified of the expiration date" I wrote again asking them to escalate the issue to a supervisor and offering Screenshots or forwarded copies of ALL of my correspondence including the merchandise credits so that they can see that in fact there are NO expiration dates. They wrote back again to say there's nothing they will do for me and recommended I take it up with my credit card company. YES to a class action lawsuit, this company and their customer service are thieves. They have literally stolen over $600 of my hard-earned money and countless hours in communication with their customer service team which amount to nothing. I will be reaching out to PayPal asking for assistance ASAP.

Nasty Gal This place is a scam!

This company is a total scam, and they get away with stealing people's money. This company was sold and owners changed at the end of February 2017. When this happened all user accounts were deleted and everyone who had store credit lost it. I lost $90 in credit snd the company would give it back to me. They refuse to help me, refuse to let me talk to a manager or get any help. This is ABSURD. They get away with it by being located outside the United States and therefore they can scam people and never get in trouble. Do not shop here, they will take your money and make their own rules. They can only be contacted by email and don't respond half the time

Nasty Gal I don't recommend nastygal

Ordered two dresses, one dress was ok, it fit just perfectly, but the second one was too small. I contacted Nastygal support and sent them a picture showing that dress was really small, but even after that they refused to help. They said that was the last dress in stock and that they had nothing to replace it with. And when I asked for a refund they said sorry no refunds. I am extremely disappointed with that kind of service. I was pretty satisfied with quality and price, but their terrible service changed my mind.

Nasty Gal I got scammed and lost $90!

Bought an expensive dress from NastyGal and paid $90 for it.
Unfortunately dress did not fit so I had to send it back. I contacted NastyGal and they offered me a refund.
I sent the package and later got a confirmation message from the shipping office stating that NastyGal received the package.
I contacted them and they said that dress arrived in inappropriate condition and that they were not able to refund me!
I got scammed and lost $90! Never again I will buy from them and I will tell the world about this! Don't trust NastyGal!

Nasty Gal These guys are beyond terrible!

I received something I did not order and my item was missing. I contacted NastyGal right away and asked for help and their rep seemed nice. He said that there was nothing to worry about and promised to resolve the matter. I asked him what options did I had and he replied that probably I'll get an exchange.
For about three weeks I heard nothing from them and then suddenly received a message stating that there was nothing they could do to help me.
I will never order from them again, these guys are beyond terrible!

Nasty Gal Disappointed!!

I was very excited when I ordered my items! That was my first experience with NastyGal but unfortunately everything went down the hill, because these people stole my money. When I found NastyGal website they had that special offer and that time many things were on sale. They had huge discounts up to 70% and it seemed like a great deal.
I made my order and for some reason I was charged the full price!
I contacted NastyGal customer service and they promised to find out what happened but later they contacted me and said that there was nothing they could do and said that next time I'll get a discount.
That is not a good way to do business! Terrible site!

Nasty Gal They did not accept a return

I've purchased a dress from Nasty Gal online store and received my order pretty fast. It took them less than two weeks to deliver my order and I was pretty impressed with that. When I tried my new dress on I was very disappointed because it did not fit and was too small. Asked Nasty Gal for a replacement but they replied that they were not able to help me because it was a sale item and they did not accept sale items back. Why wasn't that mentioned on their site? I had no idea they had such ridiculous rules!
I buy thing online only and never had problems with returning!
Nasty Gal is not a good shop, don't buy from them!

Nasty Gal Returns

I purchased 2 pairs of full price shoes on 2/7, same shoe 2 different sizes (with the intention of returning that pair that didn't fit). I paid for 2 day shipping. The next day, the whole site was 40% off, apparently due to their recent acquisition from the bankruptcy they were in, and subsequent liquidation. I also noticed on the site it stated that Nasty Gal can no longer accept returns. Upon seeing this, I tried Live Chatting customer service, it wasn't working. Then I called 2x, staying on hold for 1 hour, and another 45 mins. No one ever answered. I sent an email as well, notifying them of my intention of returning 1 pair for a refund, as i purchased these at full price prior to their liquidation sale. I received no response. I received the shoes within the time frame of the shipping I paid for. A return label was included. I have yet to hear back from them, I have disputed my charge with my cc and sent the shoes back.

Nasty Gal Victim of nastygal!

Do not waste your money here! Nastygal is a real fraud and scam and these cheaters should be out of business!
I wasted over $300 here and when I received my order I was shocked and was ready to cry. Half of my order was missing and everything else was poorly made and looked super cheap. Items looked nothing like pictures on their website and when I contacted Nastygal they were really rude and nasty. Their name really suits them! They refused to refund my money and called me a liar. I don't know what to do now and where to seek help.
Please beware and stay away. I'm another victim of Nastygal!

Nasty Gal Awful experience

I ordered a pair of shoes from this site. I paid 45€ for, plus 20€ for shipping. Shipping was quite fast and one week later my package arrived. But I was shocked when the delivery guy told that I need to pay extra money. I told than I wont give him anything, I already paid for the item. He told that I need to give him 30€ or he won't give me the package. I asked him why do I need to give him something. I thought that it was for custom fees. But he told that he got a message from nastygal and was told that I need to pay extra. He didn't knew any details, he was just told to do so and it was his job. I wanted those shoes, so I paid 30€. I emailed nastygal the next day and asked about the money. The told that it was for custom fees. I didn't believe them, because shoes came from france and there is no such thing as custom fees between eu countries. Also the shoes were a bit damaged, but I had enough of nastygal. Don't buy anything from them. Very strange company.

Nasty Gal Shipping

I was shopping for a dress for a Christmas party and ordered it online from Nasty Gal. It took over two weeks to ship and when I picked it up there was a $55 duty charge that I was completely unaware of. The dress was beautiful and I am satisfied with the product but am annoyed that there was an extra charge that was NOT mentioned anywhere. If I had to pay duties on a dress I would not have ordered online. I shop online quite often and have never had a problem until now. I paid the fees because I had to and was not paying them yet again to ship the dress back, but will never order from them again because of this sneaky move. Maybe the company doesn't benefit from any of that extra money I paid but I would not have ordered a dress that I thought was cheaper than buying one at the mall if I had known it would cost me that much more.

Nasty Gal Terrible quality, over priced

It's my fault. I kept ordering from nasty gal even though I knew the quality was questionable. My last purchase was during a sale so I can't return the items. DO NOT purchase when they're having a sale. You'll end up with awkward fitting clothes and shoes that are poorly made. And don't even think about trying to work something out with customer service, it's terrible. I seriously might throw away the shoes I just bought. The fit is ridiculous, like they never tested them on a human foot before they went into production. And photos on the website look way better than what you'll receive. One pair I purchased didn't even have the holes punch through in the strap so I couldn't even laced them up. Sophia might be a marketing genius but the quality of the product she's pushing is super wack. I don't understand the hype behind this company. Seriously, I've seen better quality at Forever 21. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY shopping with Nasty Gal. It's poorly made and overpriced.

Nasty Gal Poor quality false advertising

Why is no one doing anything about this company? The quality of service and the quality of the clothing is beyond poor I am amazed that they can get away with trading like this. It would appear I am just another customer robbed of her money by high shipping charges and unknown custom taxes! When my dress finally arrived I was informed by ups I had custom taxes of £20.38 which I had to pay before they would give me the dress. Ups told me they have had so many complaints about this company, they informed me the taxes are not paid by the company they just pass them to the customer. The quality of the dress was not just poor it was faulty the stitching at the bottom of the dress was left unfinished leaving a split up the front of the dress, the sizing is also way out, the quality of the zip and fabric is cheap and the cut of he dress is a joke! The dress is nothing like it appears on the website.
I have been told they will refund me but from what I have read it sounds like this might be somewhat of a challenge. My advice to anyone lucky enough to read this before they buy from his company is don't do it! Do not buy from this company!

Nasty Gal I will never order from nastygal again

I ordered a dress from nastygal on 12/11/12 for nye, when I got the dress it was of poor quality and nothing like the pics on the website. I promptly returned the dress which they received on 12/17/12 (I got delivery confirmation). I still have not received my money back! Their site states that you will receive an email confirming that they have your returned (I never got an email) and that it would be processed in 7 business days, with the bank maybe taking an additional 3-5business days. I have called their customer service line repeatedly and I get a rude response from an employee. The first time I called they said they were "busy" and hadnt been able to process it. I called again 3 times with no response and sent 2 emails, they responded to the first email but ignored my second email. I have filed a claim with my bank and I am hoping to get my money back soon. This is ridiculous! Their lack of customer service disgusts me especially for the prices that customers are paying for their cheap thrift store clothing. It should not take this long to process a refund especially since they took the money out of my account so quickly when I first ordered it. This is theft! Seeing as though they have their merchandise back and I have yet to receive my money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! The customer service associated with this site is a nightmare. I will never ever ever ever deal with them again.I am on hold right now. I have been on hold for over 1hr and 20 minutes. They obviously don't care about their customers AT ALL.

Nasty Gal There are way better sites and stores out there

I live in toronto, canada, and I ordered some necklaces and a long skirt from nastygal.com. First off, I had to wait about 1 month before I received my order, and since I wasnt home I had to pay extra money at the post office eventhough I already paid shipping and handling. Secondly, when I finally did get my stuff, 2 out of the 3 necklaces that I bought were broken, and the sewing of the skirt was all wrong, one of the pockets was sewed to the bottom of the skirt. Because I waited more than 1 month to receive my package, I just threw the stuff in the garbage and lost about $60 and 1 month of waiting, it would have taken them another 3 months to send me the right stuff and more money if I were to send it back, so I didnt even waste my time. That was my first and last time shopping on nastygal.com, and I would never recommend this store to anybody who is trying to do some online shopping. Hopefully this will help anybody who is a shopaholic like me, its not even worth the trouble, there are way better sites and stores out there.

Received my order with 5 items missing from it. It's been months now and customer service has not given me the full refund and they are basically impossible to get in touch with. In addition all their clothes are horrible quality. Never ordering from them again. Ridiculous.

Stay away! I received two items that were cheap material and grossly overpriced for the quality so I returned them. Nasty gal received the return on june the 8th and still has not refunded me. Today is july the 7th. An entire month! I call everyday and they tell me it's processing but it never shows. Stay away from this website!

Nasty Gal I would never recommend this website to any overseas customers

I ordered a couple of tops and a pair of shoes using usps priority delivery to the uk. After waiting 10 days I looked at the tracking form and noticed my parcel was being held for 'payment charges'. I eventually found out that I had to pay an extra £96.84 on top of what I had paid for the items and delivery. This was a customs duty and import vat which the website does not tell you how much it can come to. I would never recommend this website to any overseas customers.

This is such a ridiculous website and I have had enough of it that it is not even worth anymore of my anger or time and effort to write a review of which would be essay worthy. All I can say is, they obviously like to make a large profit and mess customers about. Don't even get me started on it, I could rant for ages.

Nasty Gal This site sucks, don't ever buy there

The overall aesthetic is slut and [censored], but nonetheless they sell some cheap monday items and some oversize tops/sweaters/jackets from time to time. I ordered an anorak and it was pretty bad quality. The front plackets did not lie flat, and the inside kept popping out because it was not lined or properly sewn to stay down. Impossible to iron.
Then I ordered a cheap monday bra and underwear. They charged me for both items but did not ship right away then I found out the bra was not available. They sent me the underwear but did not release the paypal hold on the total amount on my account, which ended up costing me over an hour of time on the phone with paypal to get back what I was charged for a non-existent bra that said it was available at the time of my order..
I also ordered a sweater which was supposed to be oversize. They had the model wearing an m/l but lied and said it was s/m. Also their models are always tugging and pulling at the clothes to hide their flaws. The sweater (haven knit) had an oval shape in the front knitted in a different pitch from the rest that just protruded and looked horrible. The sweater smelled so I hand washed it, lay it flat and it smells even worse like a dirty animal - so gross.
I wrote to them and they did not write back.
This site sucks don't ever buy there.

I agree, cheap clothing for crazy high prices. I bought a black laced bustier that was $38 (not including the $8 bucks to ship!) and it was terrible quality. I was disgusted and disappointed. Just recently they had a sale on a shirt, and when I added it to my cart and it said 'Only One Left!' so I quickly bought it and it never shipped...it's been 4 days and nothing, my item remains 'in progress'. I emailed them and asked what was going on. They told me it was now unavailable, and they'll cover my shipping price next time..So I was okay, at least I wasn't charged, only thing is my order was NOTTT terminated and the $8 they promised for shipping was NOTT in my account. Ugh, if I don't see changes by Monday..I'm emailing again.

Nasty Gal It shouldn't have taken that much harassment to get my money back

They have a great selection of fun items, but it seems to me they spend way too much time Instagramming in Paris and bragging about being "Nasty Gals" (so demeaning) and not enough time doing their jobs.

I returned one of my two shoe purchases, and it was received by them on Sept 25th. TWO WEEKS later it still had not been processed, so I called and was told they were behind & it would be processed "the following week". Which it was...sort of. My order status updated, but guess what? No money. A full week from it being "processed" I called again and asked where my funds were. Because they had just moved their warehouse (which, I understand is a legit excuse for the physical processing to be delayed, but should have NOTHING to do with financials) she stated it would be another week before funds were returned. I said I wasn't okay with this and wanted to speak with someone else. She kindly put me only hold and returned saying my money would be put back on my card today. Thanks, but...it shouldn't have taken that much harassment to get my money back...a month to process a return is not right!

And considering the reviews regarding this matter are pretty consistent, warehouse move or not, maybe they should change their FAQ's that state returns will take a week...
