In February of 2012, I was sent by my family to Narconon Gulf Coast. I had spoken with the "intake specialist" (son of the owners of this facility) who assured me that Narconon was NOT affiliated with Scientology. My family and I had never heard of Narconon, knew nothing about it, but we were in a desperate state and looking to quickly get me into a rehab facility. So, taking the word of the intake person, I agreed to go to Narconon.

I was at Narconon Gulf Coast for 75 days. From repeated lying about their affiliation with the Church of Scientology (despite L Ron Hubbard's name being on ALL their course material) to verbal abuse from the CEO of the facility to racist/homophobic comments from staff, allowance of sexual harassment in the "course room", to nothing but Scientology propoganda presented under the guise of "recovery", this place was a complete joke.

It is one of the most expensive "drug rehabs", and you will be hard pressed to get this covered by your insurance. It is 100% affiliated with Scientology - don't believe the lies of the owners. This is NOT a drug treatment program but rather another way for the Church of Scientology to make money and brainwash unsuspecting victims in their worst times of need.

I to was fooled by Mrs Ross and son Chris Ross was told insurance would cover and never paid a cent. Plus was threatened by owner Mrs Ross that she would su me for harrrassment if I posted anything bad about Narconon. They make your family sign papers while they are high on drugs and they take all your life savings. AFter they treat you they release you with no help or follow up. They have people working there that have been treated there and are not professionals. They have both men and women in the same houses and do not keep them separated. They took my life savings and all they care about is getting you in and out. They tell you they have no beds then when you have the money to pay they tell you they made one available and you get there and there are several beds available. This is a terrible place do not waste your money. Its all about scientology which they never tell you and then say it is not. I could go on and on and on..I just want to warn others of this money making business that calls itself on the up and up...NOT...
