Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf / Poor service after sale is complete

Mystic Dunes has proven to me to be a BAD CHOICE if you are looking for a vacation property. They advertise a nice resort, but they did not mention the high-pressure sales team. Please understand the resort looks beautiful however, once you are a owner they lose all interest in you and move on to the next customer.

On our first visit, as a guest considering the purchase of a timeshare, we where treated like royalty. On our second visit, after we had purchased the timeshare, we where treated totally different. We had a room where they had to replace the refrigerator 3 times, the oven drawer kept falling out, and there was roof leak in the master bedroom. Over a four-day stay we had maintenance and the manager in our room several times to talk about the problems. We where never compensated for the inconvenience of a room we continue to pay for.

Now that I am trying to reserve a room for an up coming vacation I am being told that there are no rooms available. If I would consider downgrading in room size then I would have to continue to use the smaller room for second half of my visit on a future date. Here again there is no compensation for the downgrading of the room. Does is sound like this timeshare resort cares about their owners after a sale is complete?

Mystic Dunes Resort salesteam is nothing more then used car salespeople eager to get you to purchase and drive off the property so they can wash their hands of you. The promise they made about "if there is ever a problem to contact them" are all lies. PLEASE BEWARE OF THEM AND DO NOT PURCHASE!!! THE PROPERTY IS ALL A MIRAGE!!!
