I swear, My Digital Universe is just some guy selling stuff out of his apartment or garage. I ordered a PIONEER PRO-141FD
and immediately got an e-mail from mike MMarch7727 confirming the order. So far so good, but it all went straight down the hill from there.
The days went by, my credit card was never charged, and the Tracking link never could find my order. After 2 weeks I finally called the company and pressed the number for Customer Service. A male voice with a thick indian accent answers the phone simply "Hello?". Not "Customer Service, may I help you?" or "Thank you foe calling My Digital Universe...", just "Hello?".
Anyway, I explain the situation, and the man asks me what product I ordered. Not what my name was, or what my Order number was, simply what product I ordered. When I told him it was a PIONEER PRO-141FD
he said "Oh, that will go out today or tomorrow, and you will receive it Friday or Monday".
Fine. Sounded a little odd, but the guy says it's going out, so it must be going out. A week goes by. No product. No charge to my credit card. After a week and a half goes by I call again. I get the same indian foreign guy. "Hello?" he says.
I explain again. He asks for the product again. I tell him again. "Oh, " he says. "We don't have that because the box was not in good condition". "We didn't charge your card".
That's all he says. Nothing about if or when they'd get in a good "box", cancelling the order. Nothing.
So I say I want to cancel the order. and he just says "Yes". Doesn't aske me my name, Order No., nuttin'. Just "Yes".
So, the moral is, buy from My Digital Universe only if you've got the time and patience to waste with a guy selling stuff out of his basement.
I would not shop here again .
