ADCO MEDIA launches another new publication to DUPE SMALL BUSINESSES into advertising! In order to get around all the complaints posted about their other titles, they've launched The Best Of whatever city, town or neighborhood, in order to secure outrageously expensive ad rates. They have a new website, mytownsbest.com, to support their claim of internet advertising, which is nothing more than the ad. While they sell a 6 months shelf life, they never tell their clients how many copies they print. And, they do not print anywhere near enough to keep their rack stocked. I know, as I monitor the rack on a 3x weekly basis and I've seen ADCO cycle through several different titles. These sales reps will say anything to get a sale, and they will charge only a few dollars to the last few who agree to run. They close the sale by saying it is the "STORE'S" magazine - and in some cases, that the store has the final say on who gets to advertise in it! And, they rarely, if ever, make good on the tv promise...which is nothing more than your same ad if they ever do it.

Yes. A total scam. Scary I could be so stupid and that they could get away with it. They put a few printed magazines on the shelf then forget about it. They proclaim they "give out", hand out when I asked to clarify it yet maybe one magazine get picked up a few in the 3 locations I've been monitoring. I'm watching their every move. A total scam

On 01/8/16 I signed a Sales Agreement with Our TownsFinest Magazine. A gentleman by the name of Dave Polinski [protected], walked into my business establishment to introduce the magazine to me. According to him they have their headquarters in California and somewhere in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I had never heard of the magazine but it seem like a good deal at the time because they where going to put the magazine in (3) different racks inside three different Publix's in the area and the agreement also included 20 commercial "voice over" spots which were supposed to run 1 week after the magazines came out. The magazines where supposed to be on the racks 30 days after you sign your "Sales Agreement" which in my case was in January. I kept getting billed by them until one day I decided to go to each of the (3) Publix's to see if the magazines had been put on the rack and NOTHING. I called their supposed Headquarters in California [protected] and spoke to Pat. Pat begins to tell me a bunch of mombo jumbo about how they ran into some delays with the magazine and that it was not going to be out until April. When April came around the corner, I did the same thing, I went to the 3 different Publix's and same thing magazines where still not there. I contacted, once again Pat and same garbage, now the magazines where not going to be out UNITL May. The first week of May I received a copy of the magazine but the magazines where still not inside the Publix stands. I have been going back and forth with this lady Pat since February, through phone calls and emails. It is ridiculous the amount of stress and headaches this has caused me. I contacted every single one of the owners advertising with this magazine to let them know that the magazines, as of last week 6/7/16 where still not on the racks and to their ASTONISHMENT were all in shock. Everyone has already paid these people in FULL and Our TownsFinest Magazine has not delivered what was promised to the companies advertising with them.
This company is a SHAM, they are scammers stealing money from hardworking Americans by promising things they CANNOT deliver. They took everyone's money and have not delivered 100% the magazines to ALL the locations and have not done anything with the commercials. We are now putting together a team to get an attorney and file a lawsuit against them. I will NEVER advertise with them again NOR will I EVER recommend them to anyone. At this point, the decent thing to do is REFUND every business owner
