My quick cash online / Identity Theft Charge Fee...times 3

1 Houston, TX, United States Review updated:

I am about to lose my mind, due to Quick Cash Online. It is about two hours before my son wakes up on Christmas morning, and the joy I feel on this occasion is ruined by the *THREE* applications for "identity theft" they have deducted from my checking account. I contacted the company when the first one went through. I was told that I would be refunded within 8-10 business days, and that I had been unenrolled so no further charges would be posted. Apparently I applied for a loan with them and "opted" for identity theft protection. Why would I authorize another charge when I was already broke? Imagine my surprise when another fee for "identity theft" posted the day after, and as of this morning, on Christmas day. That puts me out $74.95...after I have already been told by TWO representatives that "no further charges will be billed to my account." Naturally, their offices are not staffed today...but something tells me, no matter what the holiday...their grabby little paws will be available to collect unauthorized charges from my checking account.

THEY ALSO RUINED MY CHRISTMAS TOO. I SPECIFICALLY REMEMBER SKIPPING A BOX THAT SAID SOMETHING ABOUT SIGNING IT FOR IDENTITY PROTECTION. I DID NOT SIGN OR WRITE MY NAME ON ANYTHING EXCEPT THE INITIAL BASIC APPLICATION. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND SCAM ARTISTS THAT RUIN PEOPLES LIVES.
ANYONE KNOWS THAT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PAYDAY LOAN TO BEGIN WITH THAT YOU MUST BE ALL OUT OF MONEY AND VERY DESPERATE. THEY KNOW DAMN WELL THAT IT CAN CAUSE OVERDRAFT FEES ON THESE PEOPLES BANK ACCOUNTS. HOW IGNORANT CAN A COMPANY BE?
I WAS CHARGED THE 24.95 BY THEM, PLUS A 35.00 OVERDRAFT FEE, WHEN I ONLY HAD 5.00 TO BEGIN WITH!!
I THINK THAT WITH ALL THESE COMPLAINTS I NOW FOUND ONLINE ABOUT THIS COMPANY, THAT WE SHOULD ALL BE ABLE TO SUE THEM FOR FALSE ADVERTISING, AND THEFT OF OUR MONEY.
HOW IRONIC THAT THEY'RE TRYING TO SELL YOU PROTECTION THAT WE WOULDN'T NEED IF THERE WEREN'T SO MANY THIEVES LIKE THEM IN THE WORLD!

Gosh I am so angry!!! Frightened too! I am thinking I will go and close my bank account and reopen a new one, since I gave out all this personal information to some of these very deceitful and non-reputable companies. Please everyone beware. A great reputable company is CashNet USA. I recommend closing your account if you used them and many other applications? This is a scam for a lot of these awful places. BE CAREFUL!

These "people" more like thieves decided to charge me 24.95, and when i called they said I signed up for identity theft protection which is bull..I threatened to take legal action on them if they dont refund MY money now, this will overdraft my account and I never even got a loan through them, they need to be stopped scince I see I'm not the only one this has happened to.

yes, I too, called about the amount of 24.95 being taken out of my account and was told not only that I was de-enrolled in the identify theft program but I would receive a refund. Except 2 weeks later, I got debitted again from my bank account for 24.95. I recommend for everyone to close the bank accounts they have open to these scam artists. I don't know which authorities to contact but be sure that I will.
