The Mugg and Bean across from East Rand Mall at the Total is pathetic service and food. Last week Friday I ordered a Spinach and Feta Quiche and got food poisoning. On Thursday I went to Mugg and Bean gateway. After having a problem with them once before I decided to give them another chance. I get there and theres no one to help me get seated. I ordered a take away omelet with bacon and double cheese this morning 07:00. When I eventually had achance to eat it during my lunchtime I was utterly disgusted. No utensils, serviettes OR even a pinch of salt. The omelet was wrapped in a paper which stuck to the bottom. The bacon is burnt black, And to top t all I was charged R59 for this disgrace! I wanted to pay by debit card but was informed the network is down, my card was swiped twice. When I asked for proof of the failed transactions, I was told it didn't connect herefore there is no slips. I ended up going to the ATM to go and withdraw cash. This was the first time I visited this outlet and because of what happened I have serious doubts that I will ever go there again.
