I’m writing this note to let people know about what just happen, who knows if it be you or your son or sick parents. places like this with no caring should not exists. There many other MRI places
Hope this note helps and hope that no other sick elderly in pain person have this terrible experience.
Be aware that you can waste precious time.
Pray this does not happen to another.
Did asked my self several times when this happen, what kind of a place was this.
It took four days for the appointment to Independent Imaging in Wellington Florida for my 84 year old Mother whom has had a bad fall and has a Broken left elbow and her doctor is also suspecting a broken left hip as well Since she has not been able to stand and walk well
we arrive 20 minutes late on her appointment but this to be normal since it takes her 20 minutes just to get out of the car into a wheel chair and the front entrance door of this place was blocked by another car.
I came inside ahead of this and explain to the service personal that our car was being block and that my elderly Mother was outside with my husband, and if it was going to be any trouble from us being late to let me know before getting my elderly Mother out of the car because it cause her great pain to move.
told me that it was only one person ahead and that after the paper work was done it would only take about a 45 minutes to and hour wait.
We are patience people but after a couple of hours and more and observing my poor Mother in pain when to the desk to inquired why she had not been called. is just amazing that they even do not know who is waiting even that we were in front eye to eye, "is one big open room".In the long wait & time wasted there we also had to go the bathroom and it happens to be in the same hall near the open MRI room Nobody was inside!
The techs where just having a casual meeting. we are astonish
Some people came in with appointments and were being told to do it in another day.
To finish this after going to the front desk another service personal tech came out to let us know that
Because we were late and they run on some kind of not human time frame they were not able to see my
Mom and to make another appointment for her. This is after we had been waiting almost 3 hours!I told this lady to her face that we would not be back and prefer to go anywhere but there. and also Explain that they were insane to do this to and elderly sick person. We are still stun.

    That is horrible! I hope that you find a better MRI facility for your mother, and she is soon on the road to recovery.
