Mr. Delivery ripoff! never delivers everything you pay for!!! not responsive to customer issues.

I've been ordering for over a year but no more. They rarely show up with everything you are supposed to have. The last four times they did not have the rice that was included in our mediterranean meal. The last time I complained, because they forgot the deserts that I ordered, they told me they would not come back "just for a desert". Completely missing the point that they should not have forgotten these desserts in the first place, that we paid for the deserts and delivery of them already. I had friends visiting and the deserts were for their kids... The only thing the kids ordered. The restaurant felt bad and offered to refund us but said it had to be done through mr. Delivery - who refused to refund us for food they did not deliver - the restaurant had proof the deserts were given to mr. Delivery - but mr. Delivery simply blew us off. Did not care one bit. Rip off! We didn't even get a refund or a discount or credit nothing. So, because I have an account and it is easy I ordered from them last night and guess what? No rice!

Mr. Delivery service and pricing

This is the last time I will order from this crap company. Took over an hour to get my food.. Was ice cold by the time it got here. The order was not correct. I called the actual restaurant to see what happened and they told me the driver took a long time to get there and my food sat. The manager told me that there are many times where mr delivery does not enter the order in right from their website so orders are mostly wrong. They also informed me of my total with them which was only $24... My bill from mr delivery was... $50! What the actual [censor]?! I emailed a complaint about the fact that my food was ice freakin cold and the order wasnt right. I called the number on their website and asked why I was was paying them an extra $25 for them to deliver when im already paying the processing fee, taxes and the delivery fee plus tip. The women on the phone could barely speak english. I told her they need to put this information clearly on their website so people know what theyre actally paying for. She said she would pass the information on to the manage (Im sure she wont) total lack of respect. I am extremely mad and disappointed in this company. Terrible customer service and I will never use them again!

Mr. Delivery bad experience made worse by poor customer service and zero regard for the bad experience.

Order Time: ~ 6:04PM
Why call you ask? Because app doesn't work with my address.

Spoke to an individual who seemed to struggle with my order, which is fine we seemed to get through that aspect.

Paid 70.XX via CC and was told 45 Min for delivery.

As a family sat down to watch a movie and somewhat lost track of time I looked at my phone and I had not notifications or missed calls and it was 7:45PM I called customer support and they acted like it was no big deal and tracked the driver and stated that they weren't too far away.

Order was delivered at 7:54PM 1hr and 50 minutes from time of order.

Order wasn't correct, food was cold, and over cooked. It was clearly an issue I felt needed to be addressed at this point. All my patience and willingness to be forgiving out the window.

I called and spoke to a young lady who said she was sorry and was going to talk to a supervisor. She comes back after a few minutes and she stated the supervisor was going to review the original phone call and if it warrants a refund he will call me back.

I then asked what are you reviewing, I told them they could come and pick up the food and see for themselves. Which was followed by silence. I asked to speak to the supervisor so she put me on hold. Comes back in about 2 minutes saying Manager wasn't available and she would have him call me back.

And 3.5 hours later still no call ;-) Buyer beware, Mr. Delivery is in the wrong business.

Mr. Delivery don't use or pay cash to avoid being charged for items that they don't deliver.

We got half our order and are going through a time consuming bunch of B.S. to get our money back. I advise that if you use this company you pay cash so that when they don't deliver the items you ordered you don't get stuck paying for them.

These guys don't care about the quality of their service at all. The chat guy lied about resolving the issue with us!

Mr. Delivery service and respect

I am posting this because of the fact that I have just been " banned" from using this company just because of the fact that I have certain tastes. I am recommending that nobody else use this service. The people that they employ are very rude. I had recently ordered from them and when I checked my email I see that my order had been cancelled. I called them and was told that nobody wants to provide my food.

Mr. Delivery delivery, food delivery

Mr. Delivery has missed our order twice, and this is the last time. They missed 7 out of 12 orders today and refuse to refund any of our money, even the delivery charge. I am removing the dude's tip. The dude happens to be...wait for it...the OWNER there at Mr. Delivery. He claims there was a glitch in the computer, but when I called the restaurant, they said Mr. Delivery does this all the time. We order food for our company weekly, and since he had to keep all his money from this time, he gets no future money. And we're great tippers, ask anyone who delivers to us.

Mr. Delivery incorrect order

I placed an order for pizza with "NO CHEESE" - the driver arrived, was rude, shoved that box at me and took off. When I got inside the pizza had cheese on it. I contacted them immediately and they refused to replace the food or offer a refund for food that I could not eat. Keep it classy MrDeilivery!

Mr. Delivery terrible service

I was a loyal Mr. Delivery user and can understand when things dont go exactly the way they are supposed to. The first time I kind of let it slide when they took an order, then called 45 minutes later to say the restaurant was out of the pizza I ordered and took a week to get the refund as well as the aggravation of not having dinner I waited an hour for. I thought, maybe it was just an off night and tried them one more time tonight. Call the order in and pay for it, wait 45 minutes and they call to say the restaurant is out of the item and what would I like to do? I said I understood and wanted to order something else of equivalent value. No that is not possible you just have to call and cancel the order and the resubmit a new one. This was the driver who said he was at the restaurant already. It was a joke and I still, after calling twice, being hung up on once after wanting to cancel the order, and then being assured the charges had been reversed, my account is still showing the charge and not a credit. I think they have found this scam to be more lucrative than actually delivering a good service. Will never utilize this company again.

We ordered dinner at 6:45 pm from a local restaurant through this company. We were told it would take 45 - 60 minutes for our food to be delivered. After 60 minutes had passed, we called to inquire about our order. We were told that the restaurant had actually closed an hour before we placed our order. We were told that they would let us order from another restaurant and they would waive the delivery fee. What a generous offer. We can wait another hour and hope that our food shows up. This company stinks. Do not use them.

Mr. Delivery spams

Hi David, seems that nothing will stop you from spamming people

So here is my response.
1. Your food is overpriced, its much more expensive than at the restaurants for the same item, some times more than R20
2. Your deliveries arrive most of the time cold and unpleasant and late
3. Once ure on the spamengine called Mr D you never get removed.
4. There is usually a problem with an order and its usually wrong.

So there is no way Im buying from your company again.

So after two weeks of emailt to you, you are still not capable of assiting me
Even the management of Mr Delivery (Mr D) is not capable of keeping a promise.

Mr. Delivery the worst service ever from mr delivery menlyn

I made a Sunday luch order through Mr Delivery Waterglen Menlyn for Nandos. I ordered 1 quarter chicken, 1 quarter chicken meal, 1 chicken salad, chicken wings, a tab & 1 litre liquifruit grape. When the delivery guy arrived we paid him and only after he had left we realised he delivered the wrong food. I called Mr Delivery and told them what had happened and instead of listening to my complaint & putting me on hold more than 4 times Judith told me I would be black listed as a customer for complaining about them making the wrong order for my meal. She kept saying she doesn't understand why I'm fighting about a few rands and not understanding that it wasn't about the money but the fact that they had ordered and delivered the wrong thing which meant that I had paid for an incorrect order. Why would a customer be blacklisted for complaining about bad service? Judith even went as far as saying that this is how Mr Delivery works when dealing with 'bad customers', they blacklist them. What is that about? I don't want my money back i just want people to apologise for the bad service and attitude and treating customers as if they are inconsequential. Mr Deliver officially has bad service.

Mr. Delivery Now for the third time they have fallen through with my order

Now for the third time they have fallen through with my order. The first two times, I was informed that they do not collect from the particular restaurant any more even though its still available on their website.

Tonight, I phoned through to confirm that they still do deliveries from another restaurant, I placed the order online, they phoned to confirm my order and then twenty minutes later phone me to tell me that what I've ordered is no longer available.

Another big downfall in the service is the operator told me that the driver informed them that they do not have the item any more, surely they should have phoned through the order before sending the driver? This waste of my time has ensured that I will never use the service again.

I ordered 2 pizza through Mr d, the most horrendous things arrived without a topping. the one pizza was like an old cracker bread with tomato over (thinly spread). 24 hours later and Mr D hasn't refunded me, instead they send me a R20 voucher, they can stick it where the sun dont shine!

First delivery failed. They left a notice with no information on second attempt for delivery. Then the next day I moved to the office for collection then they said out for delivery again.

I was attempting to order Desi Wok through Mr. Delivery before the time ran out for this restaurant. It did not go through because I ran out of time, but it does NOT show up on my order history via Mr. Delivery, but it definitely posted to my account. There is NO contact information on website, or locally. It's frustrating & I want my money..

Seem like restaurant is at fault. If they close, they should inform the menu service. Better communication would produce better Results. If you are due a refund I am sure they would make it up to you. One mistake shouldn't determine future business with Mr. Delivery. There is a wide variety of choice when it comes to particular cuisine, several bar-bq, thai, tex-mex.possibilities.

I have been battling with Mr Delivery for 2 full weeks in regards to a $36 dollar refund after we ordered food through a representative. The delivery driver then called us back and told us the restaurant was closed. My wife ensued to call the restaurant, sure enough they were open and she went and picked up our food. i am shocked and feel like I have been a victim of bank fraud. Will never use Mr Delivery again for sure!
