I ordered a computer hard drive from MPC. A simple purchase that became a nightmare! Over a week after placeing the order, I was told "There is no record that it had be shipped. Your account has NOT been charged. The item ships from a third party vendor and it might be out of stock."
I needed it right away so I formally cancelled the order. The rep. said "I hope we can catch it". My response was "Regardless, since you have no record that the item has been shipped, I am cancelling the order!" The very next day the item arrived and the charge appeared on my visa account. Now I had to call MPC again to get an explaination and arrange a return. No apology or explaination was offered. How is it possible for a company not have any order or shipping status info. the day before an item is actually delivered?!
A MONTH after returning the item and confirming FEDEX delivery, they still had not refunded my account. Numerous calls to MPC resulted in unanswered messages by their accounts dept. They rarely, if ever, answer the phone so you have to hope someone actually calls you back. After FINALLY speaking to someone, I am told "We received the returned item and we're working on it." No explaination or apology was ever offered for the delay in refunding my account. The account rep. could not have cared any less about the matter.
After finally being completely sick & tired of this rediculous company, I called VISA to have the charges credited to my account.
Do yourself a favor. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MPC COMPUTERS!!! They are COMPLETELY INEPT! Their customer service is virtually non-existant! They have absolutely NO REGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!
