I subscribe trough this company 3 magazines by a sales person who knock my door asking for help, saying that she was trying to do her best working instead of being on the streets. blah blah blah I believed her and I bought them just to help her .It is a shame that this kind of things happen.I hope if you are reading this you haven't done yet what I did, because I lost my money ! I hope you haven't...

Never ever I will believe to nobody else who ask for help.

I ordered a magz. 9-18-06 which we never got. I called to get a refund and was told to mail a letter and cancellation notice which i did on 3-5-07. I have been calling to get a status on my refund and no one will pick up the phone or return my calls.

I help this same company every other year. I always feel good about helping anyone who come from da inner city and trying to do something positive. If you got the money be a blessing to them do not down talk these young men and women, because if it wasn't for someone helping you out you wouldn't be in the position your in.. #GodBlessYou!

I just opened my door to a very convincing girl who said she was with Literature Sales LLC but then directed me to a website called door2doorsuccess.com. I wrote her a check for $63 for a children's magazine that I wanted to have sent to St. Judes. The minute she left I was uncomfortable and rushed to my computer to check her out. There were too many red flags on line so I found my salesperson at my next door neighbor's house. I asked for my check back and she, in turn, followed me to my house to get my receipts-guess she didn't want a paper trail. I still have the carbon copies and I have called my local police department. It could be legit but it made me uneasy when I saw a beat up van speed through my neighborhood and she gave him a wave. I broke every rule that I ever tell my children...do glad they were not home to see me do it!

Yes, in San Antonio, TX these young sales crews come by every so often (I got burned the 1st time, when I bought a subscription and never received the magazine). Now what I do is ask them for the web site where I can place a direct order or a mail in order sheet and if they have a sales ID # that I can tag to the order to make sure they get their commission. They always say that they must pickup checks directly, but I explain my previous problems with unfilled orders (..saying "you can never be too careful.."). They usually leave grumbling..

Buyer Beware! I can't believe there are companies out there like this. Lesson learned: Never buy from a person selling magazines door to door or someone that shows up at your door with a to good to be true offer. I know is that Marques Hasting (if that was he real name) better not come back to my door selling this scammer crap. Red flag on "Syn, Inc." and "doortodoorsuccess".

I had a black man come to my door on Thursday. He told me that the money was to help him out and that he would be getting a commission on the Inflated magazine subscription rates. He told me that he had a kids and needed money to support them. He told me also that I could "gift" a subscription to some poor family somewhere. If I was doing horrible right now I probably would have refused. But since things are going fairly well I told him I would give him around $100 dollars. He insisted that was not enough and signed me up for $200.00. He included one magazine subscription as a gift to a family. I wrote a check for over $200.00. This was late last week. I just am now getting on the internet to check out this company. I see my check has already been cashed. Oh well, NEVER again!

Yes, it's easier for me to sit back and complain about the fact that the development in which I live doesn't have a "NO SOLICITING" sign at the entrance, then to blame myself for earlier this evening writing a check for $215 for two years of magazine subscriptions (three magazines in which I am very interested). But, it was me that showed my stupidity. She was so pleasant ... a single mother out to make a better life for her and her kid. She asked me for life advice and what she could do to end up in my position. Within 15 minutes, she convinced me that about 35% of my money would be going to her kid and I wanted to help. I DID NOT, HOWEVER, WANT TO BE MADE A FOOL! Immediately after she left the porch, I checked the Internet and learned I had been had. Thank God for the web and advice form those who have learned the hard way. I have stopped payment and, I hope, will be a pound wiser. And I will ask the HOA to immediately ban all soliciting!

Yea...they got me too. I'm just going to try to get over it, but I am fairly angry about it. I forgive them for what they did b/c I realize they must have their own problems that they are dealing with, but I am mostly angry at myself b/c I knew that I was being suckered and I did it anyway. $65 for a magazine that I could have bought for $20...That will not happen again.

I ordered a subscription on 11/07 and have never received my magazine either. I have put a big sign outside my door now saying "Absolutely NO Soliciting of any Kind! I hate being scammed by these creeps.

I got suckered too! I spent $181 for 3 subscriptions and haven't seen one of them. I will never buy from them or anyone else that comes to my door looking for money for magazines to "help" them get through the hard times. They could of just asked for us to give them money and not lie to us! This is wrong and this company should have to pay for all of the money we spent and didn't get anything for!

I have ordered magazines from door-to door sales people before and have actually got the magazines. This time I ordered, I got the subscription but in Spanish! I don't speak Spanish! That's not all... I now receive junk mail... yes, in Spanish! ARGHHH! My heart is too big and I feel sorry for these sales people. It is a shame that this one incident will keep me from buying from door-to-door agents again.

yeap... just happened to me about an hour ago.. i had a feeling and wanted to check and make sure. I wanted to help and so i support them in light of encouraging them to find a better direction than being on the streets. Just another warning to everyone not to fall for the story lines.

If you like to help, do so for a reasonable amount (as charity) rather than follow their price structure believing that some magazines would be delivered some time to some people somewhere...! And in case it slipped your mind, which people ever learned from reading magazines? They need books and a teacher = school (education); they need support.

I too opened up my pocket book but only to the tune of 42.00 thankfully. I love the stories of people that raise themselves up by doing something for themselves but I do believe that going door to door is the most difficult way. I choose to think that they will learn that this is not it but they are at least out of the streets. I don't believe I will write anymore checks over to them again and I do plan on looking into this organization some more. I do hope these people selling do get most of this money for they have earned it. This is the hardest sales of all and if they got our money then they have earned it. I am not advocating this and even warning the next people that may write a check. I do hope they find another way to support themselves for this way is not really going to raise their self esteem or even make them independent.

I am a fairly smart person, yet alas, I was suckered too. I bought the sob story and she was so nice and presentable, just like everyone else has mentioned. I agreed to buy three subscriptions as holiday gifts. As soon as she left, I had second thoughts. I filled out the cancellation form and mailed it in right away. I then went to stop payment on the check. Well, my bank did not get the stop payment because their website was down and I did not notice until this morning. I logged onto the bank's website to see that the check, for $200 was cashed. I then called the number on the receipt, Movemeant Sale Enterprises, and they had not received a cancellation yet. I was told to call back in a week to verify that they received the cancellation, but I am not hopeful. I feel so stupid.

You know, I figure if anyone does this type of gig then they really need the money, probably more than I do. But, after searching the internet trying to find a web page for Movement Sales Enterprises, wanting to believe the best, and finding only this blog as well as a very vague job opportunity listing in Atlanta, I decided to put a stop payment on the check. -Hopefully it won't come back to bite me since they have my cell phone number and other info. You know these two young women have a lot of energy, look very put together, and have strong sales skills. I really had a desire to help them out, but $63 is just too big a risk for me right now. Guess I'm not giving this a chance to find out if it's legit but I would say, from all the weirdness about it that %80 sure it's a scam. -Anyway, hope these two young women find something better.

I too got suckered into this. Lucky for me I looked up Movement Sales in the internet and found this. So same night I put a stop payment on the check. They were two black women with same sorry story. They were pushy and scary. Just before they left, on them had asked for a granola bar and juice. They looked like they can easily beat the heck out me, so out of fear game them what they asked for. I know not to entertain these kind of scams in the future.

Just this evening, 2 women were so convincing, even though I know about these scams - these women were so friendly and smooth that I decided I wanted to help them. It was only after they left me that I called the phone number on their receipt and found that it was another company's number. The website they gave me was door2doorsuccess.com which has nothing to do with them. Then I went online and found all these complaints. I immediately stopped payment on my check. My only hope is that they don't get it cashed in some "we cash all checks" kind of place. I broke every rule I have regarding door to door sales with these women, and I was suckered! Hopefully you will not be.

They were at our house last night two young men same company. We asked what was the cheapest way to help as we felt was a good cause and at that point the young man told us he didn't want to sell the cheapest way and that he wanted to larger amounts of magazines for higher commission. Lucky for us he folded up his order form and told us "Thanks for Nothing" Was a little strange also as they kept wanting to come in the house and checked out our open garage. We felt extremely strange when they left.

They just left my house a couple hours ago. I actually had a subscription run out, so I reordered it from them. Am I actually going to get the magazines?

Oh, the weirdest part is that the two girls kept complaining about how hungry they are, and after a while, I found myself actually making them a sandwich! I know, Im a s***er!

Their story was co compelling and moving, they got me too. They were going door to door on the West Side of LA and showed me the list of donors thus far - many people had given upwards of $1,000. One of the girls was an attractive and articulate 19 year old who showed me photos of her two year old son. I asked my own children to chose a few soft toys for the child and offered them to the mother. She said her "mentor" was looking after him and that she was being collected in my neighborhood and would return before driving home to show me her baby and collect the toys. When she never returned I got suspicious and luckily found this information on-line. I stopped payment on my checks. It is a pity that this sort of thing goes on as people will sour on the idea of helping for fear of being taken advantage of. Stay away from Movement Sales Enterprises. It is the worst type of con.

Ordered magazines august 2006. Have never received a magazine. After many phone calls and a letter as per their instruction to cancel and requesting a full refund, on March 2007. Still nothing. I contacted BBB, and they have advised me to contact attorney general. I am going to do that !
