Motel 6 room

I have stayed at this motel 6 frequently and the last visit I had a bad experience and was told i would get a 50% discount next time I got a room. I went recently and they didn't have it on record. I still paid full price and the room wasn't even clean. Dead roaches in bathroom. Not happy. I want someone to be able to give me a free room now for this.

Motel 6 hospitality and front desk

We have been staying at Motel 6 for 3 weeks now and we have asked for a room downstairs because my husband is disabled, the lady working the front desk at the time told me my husband wasn't disabled bc she has seen him. My husband has CHF and also has a pacemaker in place. Then the lady said that we have more than 2 animals when we only have 2 animals and one is a service animal for my husband. This lady also told others thank our room smell but we allow housekeeping inside and the housekeeping staff has given us nothing but compliments about how clean we keep things. We haven't had any issues till yesterday and today.

Motel 6 bad service

I came to motel 6 on the 14th of December 2018 in Indianapolis Indiana I paid for 2 days they gave me a room and when I went to the room the shower had been used and dirt on it water on the floor and a cigarette on the floor even though there is no smoking so I told them the gave me a different room And it is a good room but no microwave or fridge so this morning I've tried to get a different room or refunded for today they flat out refused to refund and said they would try to find a room to better assist but they have not I don't come to motel to have no microwave or fridge but at what motel am I not allowed to get refunded I have not stayed at motel 6 much and this is unacceptable I will never come here again ever unless this is addressed I am very disappointed in this place and they are very unprofessional to be like that to thier customers my name is James Koontz my phone is([protected] my email [protected]@gmail.com. Motel 6 theft

During my one (supposed to be 2) month stay at the motel 6 in marble falls tx., i discovered the manager had been pocketing some of my cash payments (not the staff)! this lady caused disturbances for me toward the end of my stay, due in part to my investigating the shortages and debating them with her. I soon noticed that several staff members were aware of her several different schemes and were in fear of their for jobs and or permanent residence s at the motel, so no one wanted to bring attention to the matter. After standing my ground, it seemed there were others helping her manipulate within the motel and many people are given comped rooms for aiding in some of the disturbances. The place quickly felt unsafe for my children and me and i cut my losses and checked out. I brought some of the issues to the owners attention and he only seemed to want to defend her, leading me to believe that he could also be a part of the thefts. The main theft i believe is keeping tax rebate $ from residents who are unaware of their compensation after
staying 30 days. Several cash payments were taken from me, i believe to try and cause me to default and leave before my rebate was due. I only missed 3 payments in 30 days but somehow they figured it at 6. When disputing with the manager at one point, she told me the additional money was for late fees that don't exist in the motel. My early departure ended up costing me a new job and my children were forced to go to a family members home for a few weeks, during the school year. Its unfortunate for those unsuspecting customers like myself and the hard working staff to be taken from and to fear for their employment. There is always a chance i could be wrong about some of my suspicions but i`m certain that money is being taken and that this manager has been in trouble for theft in the past. It would be to see this establishment be audited by almost any agency that has the power to stop the thefts. 1400 ollie ln. Marble falls tx. If u are paying in cash, please get every single receipt. Its worth doing. My visit was from sept 25th through oct 19 2018. I was threatened with violence in front of the manager and she said to take it outside, arguing with me as i was calm. She was upset that i called the police on the unreasonable gentleman. At the begining of my stay, she once offered me a weeks stay to do some personal work at her home, telling me a little about her true character. The owner himself would not roll back the cameras 30min to see who stole my families groceries from the hallway. He did however, order my children a pizza that evening. But, i'm certain that some of the incidences were a way to try and frustrate me, in hopes i would just leave. I stayed in room 309 and my confirmation code was 433abe531 i have a couple of printouts for my payments but they are'nt true to the days and times i paid. There was one police report made. And, if an investigation did prove fraud, i would certainly accept compensation for all my family suffered.

Motel 6 owner

My name is adam tucker. I stayed in room 136 the "jacuzzi room" call in only to reserve cost $20 extra at motel 6 mall 205, portland or on 12/8/2018. I moved the mini fridge around 6:30pm to plug in my phone the fridge was pushed up against the plug in the wall and found hypodermic needle and a condom under the fridge. I immediately walked to the office and there was multiple customers inside. I didn't go "dont stay here there's needles look" no I politely waited and then showed the desk clerk without ever saying a word about needles I could of freaked up and they would of lost business. He said sorry and offered to move rooms I said no it's ok please just take the needle and get rid of it cuz I dont have gloves it was removed and most likely just tossed in the trash outside that's what the night shift dude did with the other one which is not proper disposal. So fabian "front desk guy" said you stay at motel 6 alotbl I said yes we were here last weekend and he said just say my name fabian i'll write it down and you'll get a discount next time. So we said ok we are loyal customers. That was done. The next morning at 5:30am we shower and my girlfriend tossed her bag up on top above the hangers on the shelf and another hypodermic needle without a cover goes flying by her head it hit the wall behind her and bounced back into the closet area. The dirty filter for the heater was up there for some reason and it had the needle on it but you couldn't see them. My girlfriend starts having a panic attack wont sit anywhere in the room she freaks out for literally 2 hours before she finally passes out from anxiety overload. So its 5:30am I immediately goto the office and the night shift work is on his phone and I tell him about the situation and asked for a full refund and he tells me I have to wait till 8-9am to talk to someone who can have input on that. He hates hates his job and mukesh because he gets treated differently then the other workers who get extra privileges as he told my girlfriend last week. That's another issue there I guess but this morning at 8am I go in and tell a different front desk girl what happened she goes are you staying till 11 or leaving I was like i'm staying till I get a refund I wanna talk to the owner but I offered to leave right then if I got a full refund. She said i'll call you after I talk to my boss so a half hour goes by I get a call and I was offered $45 by the owner thru the desk worker. The room cost me $110. I paid cash. So I was like no I wanna speak to the owner what's his number. I'm told she cant give that out and so I offer my cell phone number. Instead I get a call an hour or so later from a "management girl" she works the front desk also on the motel phone. No one would call my cell phone probably so its not recorded. Calls I answer and I tell her what happened with the 2nd needle and how it almost hit my girl in the face and 2 needles is unacceptable and I want a full refund and she offer's me $20 per the owner! And I get loud and say no way that would of went way worse and she potentially could of got a disease and thats a health hazard and for paying $110 I expected the room to be cleaned. So she stands tall $20 is the offer the owner is offering now. The owner who was on site the night before heard about the 1st needle from the worker. Never once did he come and talk to me I never seen him or met him. He lies & tells the girl we were offered a full refund the night before. Which is the biggest lie ever cuz I would of took that refund and left if I was offered it I was offered a discount next time. My girlfriend heard fabian say it. No percentage just a "discount" I have a witness that we were never offered any refund or money back just a room change and a discount next time. So im pissed at this point on the phone due to lack of respect for the customer (me) my voice is raised and im like this is [censored]ed up and we could of been hurt cause someone isnt doing there job and I was lied to about it being clean. She says you can take the $20 so I tell the manager girl i'll just call corporate and file a complaint if I ain't getting a full refund this is the worst customer service ever. "I was yelling cuz I waited 4+ hours to talk to the owner and shes telling me the owner doesnt wanna talk to me and its basically take the $20 or nothing". She then snaps at me "no refund and im calling the cops because your being loud or something & refuse to check out" which is a blanten lie once again. It's only 10am at this time. I calm down in like a second. Try to explain the situation again in the simplest form for the dumbest person alive and how you dont treat customers like this and someone didnt do there job and i'm told the house keeper must of not seen them. I say I want a full refund again. The offer still is $20 on a $110 room. I say how was it $45 earlier then $20. Its $20 i'm told, so I yell again cuz shes stone walling me with [censored] fine i'll call corporate this is [censored] and [censored]ing wrong. She says it's no refund i'm calling the cops since you refuse to check out and hangs up. So I quick wake my girlfriend and yell shes calling the cops cuz i'm gonna goto corporate to complain and the news if I have to.in good faith I go drop one of the keys off at the front desk and say we are leaving just give us a second. I never said I wouldn't check out I offered to at 8am with a full refund. We stayed in that room till 10 am waiting to talk to the owner. Instead i'm told the cops are being called and I dont get to check out at 11am like everyone else who paid except I paid more for my room and it should of been cleaned top to bottom if it's a call in only reservation that no one knows about really. We stayed in the same room last weekend and everything was great. So in a weeks time they were able to collect 2 hypodermic needles and didnt notice them they werent there last weekend I know cuz I moved the fridge also and the heater filter was dirty and I meantioned it needing to be cleaned on the maintenance/housekeeping card last weekend. So someone just tossed it up on the shelf instead of cleaning it and I was told the room was cleaned on the 8th when I called and made the reservation. The owner wouldn't talk to me he was hiding somewhere in the motel complex. We left a cell phone in the room rushing out the room cuz we didnt know if the cops were coming and we didnt do anything wrong and I dont wanna be arrested for someone making false accusations and had to go back and he was still no where to be found the front desk girl wouldn't call for him. It's just the worst customer service i've ever delt with. I will never stay at a motel 6 again because I was made to feel like I was in the wrong when clearly the owner and motel 6 was. I dont know what can be done by you guys but my blood pressure is super high im so stressed out. Who knows how this will effect my girlfriend. Super scary to see that needle fly past her face. Sorry my complaint is so long but the fact I didnt get a refund and the owner hid all morning and wouldn't talk to me like a owner should of at that point. You say corporate complaint and they just call the cops I guess instead of stepping up and doing what's right as a business owner who's #1 goal should be great customer service so people wanna stay there again.

Owners name is mukesh patel. By far the worst motel6 owner-management crew ever! Ive been from ny to portland and have stayed at motel 6 over 100 times and I lost all faith to ever stay there again and that's the worst part cause I love motel 6 always been good to me and this ruined it. I'll never recommend motel 6 again. The most stressful day of my life and i've had stressful days before.

I feel this wrong can be righted with a full refund. I wish motel 6 could prove to me that this was one bad apple on the tree and motel 6 is the place I love. I aint asking for anything free. I paid last week and had no problem. I hope one day I can stay at a different motel 6 and be wowed again.

Ps: some customer service classes for the owner cuz in his mind from what I experienced he just doesnt care about the product or service that is motel 6.

Small note: fabian front desk guy. Great worker very helpful that's someone who should be running a motel 6.

I totally "feel your pain". You should read my post about my Motel 6 horror story. I agree that the employees in general need multiple customer service refresher courses!

Side note...I DID end up receiving a refund, but only after calling and calling and calling and complaining and not letting it go. I suggest you try the same tactic, which is persistence, because neither you nor your girlfriend were in the wrong in any shape or form. This includes you raising your voice and using profanity. You are human, not a robot, and if they were good at their jobs they would be able to handle it professionally and diffuse the situation in a timely manner instead of getting revenge for your complaints by calling the police on you for something you did not do. Note to Motel 6...using profanity, voicing a complaint, and raising your voice is not breaking any laws nor does it warrant you "evicting" a customer who had been a loyal patron many times over. I hope all this negative attention was worth the profit you made on renting a sub-standard room and threatening a customer with legal action for doing nothing other than would was the right thing to do. No one should have to put up with hypodermic needles as roommates. FYI, on average, customers talk to approximately 1 family member/friend/neighbor/co-worker about a satisfactory experience after renting a motel room; however, on average, a customer will mention an UNSATISFACTORY experience to approximately 6 family members/friends/neighbors/co-workers. So you potentially lose 10 good customers just by treating ONE customer in a disrespectful and distasteful manner.

Motel 6 stalking

We stayed two nights at this motel. Was gonna stay longer but we found that the staff was way to creepy. Every time we opened our door the manager or some other employee was standing outside our door. If we went outside to smoke they followed us. We went down to the vending machine and the night desk clerk followed us there. We went out to smoke and desk clerk followed us outside. When we arrived we had 3 quest but was informed that the motel only had a room with one bed. So we went ahead and stayed. We went down the next day to switch rooms to a 2 bed room and was told motel was full. But there wasn't any cars in the parking lot all night to indicate that it was full. First night when we arrived. The top sheet and blanket were soaking wet. And we were informed that this was the only room available again. So we slept on bed with no covers. The toilet wouldn't flush. I am very unhappy about my stay here in Anderson Indiana. I won't stay there again.

Motel 6 Front desk employee

I had no problem paying for an extra person being in our room. 7 dollars is not a big deal. The fact that the person in question was extremely rude when he called our room to notify us of this. Then, to make matters worse, he calls me a deush bag liar after I came in and paid it. I know what he was trying to do. The guy was trying to start a fight with me and get us kicked out with no refund. I know this scam. I don't see how these places are run with people like this. I will be making a complaint with the manager, but from what I've seen of this place, I highly doubt it'll do any good.

Motel 6 manager, maintenance man

the manager Sarah is providing shelter for people at the hotel and they are not paying anything they live there for free.the maintenance man Nathan and Sarah are going in customers rooms when they're gone and stealing stuff out and Nathan has been stealing money from the hotel. And they are very rude and impolite. And my wife has been working there for half a month and she said that she will give us a discount and she's making her making us pay full price and over charging us and threaten the maintenance man is threatening us with he's going to kick us out when he doesn't have the authority to.and the housekeepers are very rude and they go in other people's rooms and still stuff when they're supposed to be cleaning it and they leave rooms as they are and doesn't clean and they take stuff off of other people's carts when it's not theirs. And the manager Sarah has been letting a 14 year old boys stay there when his parents are looking for ham and he doesn't even have money to pay but he gets to pick up trash and live there for free.

First thing.. check in.. it sucked. Had a reservation but given attitude. Given upstairs room with my friend with one leg in wheelchair. I thought that was okay cuz there was an elevator but the next day there was no elevator Room. TV not working. No heat working. Toilet leaks. Promised twice we could move. But no we are still here. This evening I needed to do laundry but was told that the guest laundry is closed because it was broken in to but I could go to the Super 8 and do laundry cuz they're owned by the same company. We have a long stay ahead of us. Why dont we matter? And thank you for your time and consideration in this matter I am at my Wit's End. Karen Dawson

We were told the owner of the property had ordered us to check out immediately I worked for Motel 6 for several years after that I always rented Motel 6 rooms I have never been treated so badly as I was treated and that Motel I don't know what's going on with that room those rooms in there they're not even being maintenanced or anything even the room we were moved to had it so many issues including a cracked toilet again and a stove top that had no knobs and did not work not to mention cockroaches this is so unacceptable it's unreal and in order to get my $20 which I was promised for my inconvenience was with unreal anyway I had to sign a note and she wrote lies on the note so I wrote my own note not that it makes any difference because the way that she talk to me I was about to call the police and Channel 4 News since I have a bk amputee in a wheelchair and sicker than hell and she screaming obscenities at me yes this is so unacceptable and now I'm in a Motel 6 Studio that is the most awesome motel with the most amazing staff I've ever seen in my life see what a difference a drive . across town can make. This should never happen to anybody and I'm still considering contacting the attorney considering what was done to an elderly man such as Larry

Motel 6 hotel stay

My family and I have been homeless since 9/3/2018 through no fault of our own. I am now dipping into savings just to keep from living in my car... It is my wife and I along with our adult son and two small service dogs as my wife has both a physical and mental disabilities. I Requested that we not be asked to leave the room each day for house keeping, as this is too much for my wife to endure, I keep the room clean, in fact I return the room cleaner then I receive it (health requirements my wife needs), but, if I need towels or other items, I can only aquire those items if house keeping did the cleaning, when I asked about this, the front desk stated "Policy" and nothing they can do about it (Did not need the sarcasm).. This is how motel 6 in Anahiem-Fullerton treats paying guest, now the motel 6 in Roland Heights, was very pleasant and showed compassion unlike Anaheim, they accommodated my family and I with our reasonable needs, and even thanked us for leaving the room VERY Clean... Now Motel 6 Roland Heights is a five star motel to my family, while every aspect of Anaheim motel 6 is substandard at best (the front desk seems put out, and I mean everyone operating the front), I'm just sorry I paid for 3 days or I would go back to Roland Heights motel 6 in a Split second.. MOTEL6 ANAHEIM IS VERY DISAPPOINTING... RICHARD ALVAREZ (Room 104)

Motel 6 the service

As a BWP assistant manager I was shocked at the way these people run a business. Upon check in, I came in to the room that was already destroyed, condom rappers all over the place, pizza in the trash, and the bed was not made up and of course looked like they had bed bugs because I seen red dots all over the sheets and pillows. I went to the front desk and told her about my experience and all she had to say was that they had nothing else available. I called customer relations and they told me they would help me sort everything out and somebody would contact me that night if not in the next 24 business hour. This is absolutely ridiculous. They took my money for a night I didn't even stay there. This hotel should not be up and running with prostitution and drug dealers in every corner you look at.

Motel 6 over/double charged

When I first checked in I used my credit card. Upon entering the room I discovered it was destroyed and used. I took photos and complained. So they said they would give me a discount and put me in another room, so I extended my stay and paid cash. The charge on my C.C. Disappeared. So I naturally thought they cancelled/deleted it. Much to my surprise 6 days later the charge re-appears. Somewhere along the line I got over charged and need a refund in my C.C. As I paid in cash! I still have the photos and can forward them. Since I paid in cash I thought I had funds available on my card, now I don't have either and am now stranded in another state and not able to make it home! Please contact me ASAP so we can get this situation handled and dealt with to satisfaction!

Motel 6 motel 6 cancelled reservation dnr list

Hello, my name is berna Smith. I had basically been living at motel 6 in Chino, ca location due to my living situation had changed. I would check out in the morning before work and come in for my reservation after work. You can see in your history I've spent about 2000 a month there. One night I came in and my reservation had been cancelled before 6pm I asked why new guy at desk couldn't give me a clear answer my price had gone up 15 dollars due to my reservation being cancelled. I asked is there a manager k can speak to or do I call corporate to help fix issue. I paid difference that day. The following day I go in early way before reservation s are cancelled and I was on the do not rent list. So the reason I got put on this list was because I said I wanted to call corporate to help. They said they couldn't take me off list that it was done approved by manager marisela from there Chino location. How is this fair if someone wants the complain they just put them on the no rent list. So they can say and do what they want and if cst wants to complain they'll just put them on the no rent list. That doesn't seem right and makes there cst service bad I've never had anything negative to say but to prevent any complaints they put u on the do not rent list. I spent lots of money with you guys and this wrong needs to be right that day I had no reservation elsewhere and since it was last minute I ended up somewhere really far from work and costed me time and money not to mention being talk to that way and being put on the no rent list like I had done something wrong. Motel 6 motel 6 dania beach, fl.

I spent 2 nights at your Motel 6 in Dania Beach, Fl. I have stayed there on several previous occasions and noticed the stay getting progressively worse. This location is dragging the name brand down!
I checked into the room friday evening...found the toilet bowl full of rancid urine which stunk when flushed. The toilet was leaking so the floor was wet. Roaches crawling on the floor. Floors were dirty in the entire unit...my socks were dirty moments after walking on them. No water pressure in shower or sink. Noisy guests or Staff that kept yelling/screaming across courtyard all night. Guests or Staff smoking marijuana near my AC unit making my room smell of it. Some idiot guest or Staff car alarm going off continuously for over 1/2 hour during afternoon. My door access card had to be adjusted twice because I got locked out of my room.
I decided to check Google and it seems there are way more "TERRIBLE" reviews for Dania Beach Motel 6 than positive reviews. I can't believe your TEAM 6 tries to appease customers by telling them it is not the usual Motel 6 experience. BUT it does seem in fact the experience that many have had and that location remains open with corporate blessings! Thanks for giving me thew business! Shame on you guys!

Motel 6 paid parking for park and fly

My car was stolen from the parking lot. I would like to be reimbursed for the costs entailed because of this: the amount I paid to park here, missed days work, repairs to vehicle once I recovered it, cost of getting vehicle out of impounding and the stress and trauma of the whole experience. If I do not receive reimbursement I plan on alerting social media including trip advisor, Yelp, and other travel sites. Thank you

Motel 6 unethical behavior

I am writing to let you know how unhappy I am hearing that Motel 6 employees have been turning over lists of their guests to ICE on a regular basis. Especially since ICE agents use profiling techniques of whose names sound Hispanic to determine if they should be questioned as to their legal status. How do we know they are not sharing other private information also? My husband and I are retired and we travel about 6 months out of the year. We have stayed at numerous Motel 6's but we will not be staying at them any longer. We also hope this information goes viral so others know of the illegal practices going on.

Motel 6 cleanliness of rooms

I rented a room at the motel 6 in prescott Arizona on sheldon st. I was quoted one price over the phone and upon arrival I was charged $40 plus more. Then my 9yr old special needs son abd I were bit bt bed bugs. We called the office at 4am to inform tgem of bites. They moved us to another room which had dog feces on the floor and bed bugs too. It was so bad we had to sleep in our van. I have pictures of everything and also was able to pull a bed bug off my sons neck that was biting him and put it in a bag. I took it to the office to show front desk. I was told "oops sorry we will need to get pest control" this is and was not acceptable to me, and dont feel that this is how you want people to view your hotels/corporation.

Motel 6 Room quality

I stayed at the merchants Boulevard, Knoxville, Tennessee Motel 6 on November 2nd 2018.
They first tried to charge me $79 I made the reservation 6 weeks ago and was told it would be $62 plus tax. When I brought this up she changed it reluctantly.
The room was filthy. There were gnats everywhere. Dirty walls, dirty stained washcloths. The AC / heater did not work. The phone did not work. And while we were sleeping the mirror hanging above the bed- by one nail fell on us. The metal "security latch" was broken and we had to use implements in our bag to continually screw it into the door frame.
The room also reeked of stale cigarette smoke.
I realize this is not the Waldorf Astoria but $65 is $65. And a person deserves a clean, safe, functioning hotel room. This was none of these things.

Motel 6 poor cleaning of bed linen

Last week (October 25th to 26th, 2018), I booked a room (209) at the Motel 6 - Chicago Southwest, located in 2380 N Farnsworth Ave Aurora, IL, 60504. At midnight my wife woke up suddenly with a lot of itching and some rash on her neck and arms which was increasing. She woke me up to show me the lesions and I told her that they looked as bug bites. She went to the front desk to comment what was happening but the person in turn was not very kind with her. Meanwhile I checked the bed and I found a bed bug at the pillow which I could catch to show it to the manager. He told me: the only thing I can do for you is refund the total amount of money that you payed for the room and that's it.
That happened around 1:30 AM. I had had a very busy day and I was exhausted, and believe me was very dangerous for us because at that time we took the road to find a nearby hotel and was not fair. I do not want to take advantage of this situation because even though I live in Mexico City, I am an american citizen, but I thing is my duty to inform you about this terrible experience. Anyway, believe me that was my first and my last time that I stayed at one of the hotels in your chain.

Motel 6 pillows, coffee, and attitude toward assisting.

I found it very troubling at Motel 6 we couldn't get and extra pillow at this hotel, after all the room we had only had 3 in it when we arrived. The pillows were cheap, thin and were of no use for two people with neck problems, when asked they with no concern said they didn't have one, we left the hotel the next day and had to buy some for descent night sleep. I also found it troubling that none of rooms had a coffee maker, every hotel in America ought to have a coffee maker in each room given how cheap they are these days. Instead this hotel have 3 containers for over 200 rooms of renters who would be using them, this is unacceptable business practice, although the hotel was clean but very unhospitable invironment, just because the price of room is very competitive doesn't mean everything else goes lacking!
