This school hires college students to work the short afternoon shift (2pm-6pm). These young women are always on their phones and they're all sitting around with their sorority logos showing on their apparel and jewelry. What's worse is (as a parent) you never know who is going to be your child's teacher between 4pm-6pm. The school rotates staff around from class to class since they group and re-group the kids throughout the afternoon. The school wants to send these young part-time workers home as early as they can so they can save money. As soon as the "numbers are down", the director will combine two groups into one and she'll send one of the daycare workers home. When I come to get my child, I'm always finding that he is with a different daycare worker in a group of kids that he does not know. The college student daycare worker is usually a young women sitting in a chair in her stylish high-heeled shoes and she'll be working her Android or Blackberry while my child is wandering around aimlessly. It just burns me up that these young women think that their main job is to be a college student and that they are entitled to be on their phones whenever they want.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
As a parent at this school for many years, I completely disagree with this complaint. The teachers are nicely and appropriately dressed and cell phone usage does not seem to be an issue. If you have a problem or noticed something that "burns you up", you need to speak to the director before posting a complaint.
Not accurate, at all!
