Mondial Catering / Deposit not refunded
The owner of this establishment (Cynthia Miranda) required a deposit of $1000 in order to reserve the restaurant for my son's rehearsal dinner to be held in May 2009.
She closed her business in January 2009 and assured me I would receive a refund within weeks.
To date, I am still awaiting my refund check. I received numerous assurances that I would receive my money but she left and went to work at elements restaurant where she is currently general manager. The owners of elements agreed to work with me to solicit Ms. Miranda refund the money she owes me. Once I removed all unfavorable ratings and comments from wedding forums and restaurant reviews, the management at elements started ignoring my e-mails.
I am thoroughly fed up with the lack of integrity displayed by Ms. Miranda as well as her current employers at elements restaurant. Most importantly, I would still like my thousand dollars back for services NOT provided!
