I recently purchased MLB extra innings from my local cable company (time warner) and was under the assumption that I would get ALL MLB games. I have now discovered that some teams have not made a deal with MLB and are not included in this. The teams are...

-Atlanta
-Cincinatti
-Baltimore
- Washington
Now, Every time that I want to watch the Phillies play these teams, the games are Blacked out!
This is bad for baseball and it's fans.
Can MLB not REQUIRE the above mentioned teams to participate in the "the baseball package"?
I am very frustrated after having spent $180 and would like some answers!

Thanks for nothing!

I will never purchase this service again. I live in Clemmons, NC, and I am a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Somehow, games that involve the Baltimore Orioles, the Washington Nationals, the Atlanta Braves, and the Cincinnati Reds are considered "regional games" even though none of these cities is within five hours of where I live. The stations that carry games for these teams are not available where I live. I am paying $160 for this service, and already this season, I will have missed a dozen games by the end of this week. (I will be missing three games this week in which the Pirates play the Reds. ) The Regional Channel that carries the Reds games is showing College Baseball games, and even though this is the case, the Pirates-Reds games on MLB Extra Innings will be blacked out this week.
I am not the only one that plans to drop this service next year. Several friends of mine plan to do this as well as they are tired of planning to tune in to watch their favorite team only to have the game blacked out. This is probably the biggest waste of money that I have spent. Buyer Beware!
Send me an email if you can explain any of this to me: LKStom@aol.com

I purchased a complete season of MLB Extra Innings from Spectrum for $174 so that my 81 year old mother and I could watch our Houston Astros. It's non-refundable BTW...

The problem is ALL Astros games (including away games) are BLACKED OUT! I spoke to Spectrum and their hands are tied. The MLB teams and their EXTREME GREED are to blame. I will just call it like I see it...THEFT!
I paid a rather large sum of money for services that I can't get and I can't get my money back from them. Why is it that ALL games are blacked out? Someone please explain it to me.

My biggest complaint against the MLB Extra Innings package is overlapping games. I order the package to follow the Dodgers from Cleveland. Too many times the Dodger game will be on the same channel as another game that starts earlier. For example channel 741 has the Boston/NY game at 7 pm and LA/SF will also be on ch. 741 at 10 pm. If the 7 pm game is not over by 10 (It happens a lot) you get the dreaded "LA/SF game will be joined after this game" note on the screen. In the meantime there are other channels running ads at the same time. Why cant they switch the game to another channel? I have tried to contact the IN Demand app but no one has given me the courtesy of a reply.

In my area I cannot watch several teams games live. KC Royals, Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, and the St.louis Cardinals. So if a team I want to watch is playing ANY one of these teams than I cannot watch it live, have to wait for a replay.
