Miracle Method Leak from bathtub job into my ceiling

This company is horrible. BEWARE. They came out to restore our bathtub and the technician told me to have my husband put the spout to the tub back on because he didn't want water to leak. Well he failed to tell us that we should put a waterproof seal around the spout and it leaked water from showers into our basement and caused a major problem for us. This company did not even have the decency to send someone out here to look at the job and address the issue. They had the nerve to blame my husband for not putting the spout back on and even tried to say I shouldn't have agreed to the technician not completing the job. They are a horrible business to deal with. Nice when they get your money but will ignore you once the check has processed. I would advise anyone who is looking to use this company on Mark Dabling Blvd to beware.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSE - After our technician removed the tub spout for this customer he noticed that the plumbing had a slight leak. Since the leak would damage the new finish he was applying to the tub, he taped a latex glove over the water supply pipe to keep the water from dripping onto the tub. Upon completion of the job, our technician advised the customer that the plumbing was leaking and that it should be fixed prior to reinstalling the tub spout. Our technician advised that either the customer or a plumber could reinstall the spout once the leak was fixed. The customer indicated she understood and agreed to re-install the tub spout so our technician left the latex glove taped to the water supply pipe. Subsequently, the customer’s husband removed the latex glove and reinstalled the tub spout without fixing the leak. The tub spout was apparently not installed correctly and caused a leak.

We did not leave the job without instructing the customer about the problem. If there had not been a problem, we would have reinstalled the tub spout, but the tub spout was not reinstalled by our technician because there was a problem and he made the customer aware of it. There are several reasons we do not believe we are responsible for any damage which occurred to the customer’s property after we completed our work. When the customer indicated they understood the problem and the solution, we believe our responsibility ended at that point. If the customer did not know how to properly reinstall the tub spout, then they should have called a plumber or asked us for assistance. The customer waited over two weeks after the job was completed to contact us.

Miracle Method peeling bad

well here goes again, in 2010 i had called miracle method at there corporate headquarters to obtain information as to how to get work done by miracle method, they referred to one of there newer franchises in the area which was Youngstown i live in Akron i explained, , Cleveland is closer they insisted that Youngstown was the one i had to go with, , , as this story goes i said OK, upon my previous posting i explained how that franchise had folded leaving me a mess and no one to help from headquarters, , , at that point after many phone calls and way to much stress, not mention 1000.00 dollars down the drain, i reverted to this complaints board, surprise i got a phone call to repair the damaged spots, , , here's were things happen again, one gentleman from Cleveland location calls and says he has approval to fix and warranty, , , they get out here and realized its bad and will get much worse unless it is all redone because an initial step was skipped in the application process and says it needs all redone correctly and would have to get back with corporate, , , , low and behold they deny redoing it all correctly they want to half ### this once again, the place in Cleveland is very good a customer service, and wants to do it right but corporate says no half ### this, , and now want me to pay for materials 150.00 more at first i agreed just to end all this but after careful thinking i just don't have the money, , , this is a principal thing, , , bad bad business, is this what ya want i have attached pictures for your enjoyment, , , i just want it done right can anybody help

no this is not correct
i do want this fixed, by miracle method from Cleveland at no charge to me
and i have explained several times i had to put a tub surround in to cover the peeling in the shower it was so bad i had to hire some one to put the surround in, because nobody would fix it, now the walls are peeling the very nice young man that came here did not even have the right color to fix it and told me in front of my wife what a terrible
injustice has been done here, it was done incorrectly and assured me that it needed taken off and done right or it would continue its peeling process, and also the tub which looks horrible would need done too, so please do not try to make this look like your trying to resolve the situation, if you did not me make go with the guy in Youngstown, because of region disputes i could have paid Cleveland the first time and never went through this, and at first it was going to be no charge to me then all the sudden more money is needed, all i want is this repaired and done correctly its been a two year battle not to mention the stress factor, this is stressful just typing this i have been so patient through all this its just not good business, i work for a company in which i am a customer service rep if i treated people this way i assure you i would be unemployed by morning, ...somebody please help

Miracle Method has been in business for over 30 years and currently has over 125 franchise locations. Overall our customer satisfaction is very high. Across the country, literally thousands of bathrooms and kitchens are refinished each week. It is inevitable that, occasionally, there will be a problem or two. We are disappointed whenever we hear of a customer who is not satisfied with a Miracle Method job. As each franchise is independently owned and operated by a local individual, it is necessary for a customer to contact that individual in the event of a problem. The franchisee who did the work is responsible for any warranty whether they are with Miracle Method or not.

In this situation, the franchise that did the work is no longer in business. Our Cleveland Miracle Method franchisee spoke with Mr. Binns on several occasions, the most recent being last Friday, [protected]. The franchisee explained to Mr. Binns that we would re-spray the surround at no cost to him. He was very pleased and wanted the tub redone as well. Our franchisee agreed to do that as well, even though he is under no obligation to do so, and they agreed Mr. Binns would pay a total of $150.00 (labor and materials for the tub only) in order to have both the tub and surround refinished. Mr. Binns was thoroughly pleased with this solution.

Consequently, Mr. Binns posted this complaint the very next day (Saturday, [protected]). Our Cleveland Miracle Method franchisee spoke with Mr. Binns this morning. Mr. Binns said his wife did not agree with the proposal, and did not want to pay a penny and therefore, does not want Miracle Method to do any work.

We are sorry Mr. Binns is having a problem with his tub and surround, which was refinished over 2 years ago, and have tried, unsuccessfully to correct the work performed by a former franchisee.

Miracle Method peeling bad (bathroom) warrenty

in 2010 i had my bathroom tub and tile resurfaced )let first add that i called the home office in Colorado springs to get information, then referred me to one of there franchises i then hired them to do the job, it loOKed OK for about 3 months, so here comes the bomb it started peeling so i called the number back on the bill only to find out he locked up shop and filed bankruptcy, i then called back to Colorado springs and they said they don't have to uphold warranty because the franchisee went outa business, since then it has been a nightmare not only did they rip me off for a 1000.00 dollars they wont even sell me some color or clear to match it, I'm just sick about it, , , business like this is theft and so counterproductive, , , can someone help

i recently got a call from miracle method to repair the affected areas
my hat is off to them for there costomer service for there warrenty
i am looking at things differently now

how do i remove the post or complaint
i would like to remove it, , , , , i feel they are attempting to solve the issue?

i reacently recieved an offer to repair the peeling thats existing but not the dingy tub that is now no longer white butt off yellow and peeling off and on
we will see how this is treated

Miracle Method - Poor Quality/Sloppy Work

They refinished our bathroom fixtures (sink, countertop and bathtub) and left a mess! Guaranteed no overspray and a professional "new" appearance, and we were lift with pit marks, runs and ridges and differences in texture. John Savage said he would do job, but sent other workers who left my home a mess! Do Not Use the process or Franchise!

Miracle Method Warranty problem

We had Miracle Method applied to our shower in January 2007. We were to have a 5 year warrenty on the material applied. In a year and a half we started to get peeling of the coating. We now have about 3 square feet that has peeled. The franchisee who did the work quit some time after doing our shower. In calling Miracle Method headquarters we were informed they had nothing to do with the warrenty, that it was the responsibility of the franshisee. As they are no longer associated with Miracle Method we have no warrenty on the peeling coating. It cost us $900 to find out what kind of a company they are. We will probably have to get a new shower.

I too had Miracle Method do work in my home and quickely learned that the parent company does not back or support it's franchises in any way. Bad product - bad company!
