Reported to FTC. worldwide rebates claimed bar code not send in with with submission and of course it was.
Lost $10 rebate. At least it was not more. Also submitting complaint to South Carolina BBB

I had a MIO GPS for five months when the screen cracked apparently due to cold weather. MIO would not honor the warranty claiming the GPS must have been mishandled. The MIO products are inferior and their warranty has little or no value.

So I guess I will have to contact the BBB to get my rebate!
