Mike Melang review: did not do work 1

He never finished the work and still has my money from May. He was hired to do a lot of yard maintenance and sounded friendly enough on the phone. In fact, he wanted me to state what I wanted done "like a contract." It took him a bit to get his employee out there but the first set of work got done and it was well done.

Then I gave him a check in May to finish the work and only 1/6 of it got done, but my check was cashed immediately. I sent e0mail after e-mail and he finally got back to me and said that he had been in the hospital, but his employee told him the work had been done. I told him that it hadn't and he said "Okay. I'll come out and take a look at it." That was 3 weeks ago. No work ever done.

I asked for my money back. Never saw that either.

Don't trust this guy. He can work when he wants to, but mostly doesn't want to. Oh, but he does want to get paid upfront.
