Mike Kirschner Murrysville, PA review: bad breeder - beware! does not honor health guarantee/breeding heart defects in maltese

This breeder is using the Villa Malta Champion line to breed Maltese puppies and sell them in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He gives a one year health guarantee but does not honor it. I purchased a female Maltese AKC puppy on 8-14-2017 and she died on 5-1-2018. I paid $950.00. Our AKC Villa Malta puppy died at 10M old from heart failure during a routine spay. She was seen by FIVE competent vets, none of which stated she was at risk for routine surgery. Angel's heart did not respond properly to the meds given. After a close look into Angel's short history, it was determined that she had a hidden or "occult" problem with her heart and/or brain.
The breeder blamed the vet then me, for her death and he refused to offer a refund or a replacement puppy. He was cruel and showed no compassion. He does not let buyers see where he keeps the dogs. He keeps all the dogs and puppies upstairs and said his entire upper floor is for the dogs. I assume they never are allowed outdoors as there were no signs of outdoor accommodations for dogs. He also suggests in his contract that buyers not use vets for vaccines. His contract also states the if the dog is bred, you will be charged a 10K dollar fine. And he recommends the dog gets "fixed". He brings the puppies down to his living room. You can hear a bunch of dogs barking upstairs.
I spoke with the owner of Villa Malta Kennels. She told me that Mike managed to buy a Champion Villa Malta sire against her wishes. Mike bred him a lot, then kept a male and is breeding the heck out of him. He charges premium prices. His house is located way back in the woods in Murrysville PA. I was reluctant at first to buy from him, but when I saw the bloodlines, and the parents looked nice, I ignored the red flags and bought the puppy. She was beautiful but extremely hyper. The other pups were also very hyper. Being that there are only two Maltese breeders in my area, and I need a pure breed because of allergies, and there are no rescues near me, I was desperate and bought one of his puppies.
He's evasive, nasty and rude. Do not buy from this man! He's not a breeder. He is a puppy broker using a champion bloodline to breed tons of puppies. He may even be inbreeding since he has just the one male from what we were able to see. I have documents and a vet letter. We tried to sue him in civil court but the court said we'd have to collect the money from him on our own. Try getting a hold of him when things go bad, he just disappears. Heartbroken over the loss of our beautiful puppy. I made a huge mistake buying from Mike Kirschner which led to devastating results. I can't bring Angel back, but I'm determined to get the word out about this puppy broker who cares nothing about the dogs but only money.
