DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!

This company is a real beauty! They show very low prices online, but if try getting in contact with them! They have no contact phone numner and thier contact form doesnt work! I purchased a DOGTRA DOG TRAINING COLLAR from them, it did seem to work right and when I tried to contact them, I could not!

Now, I am stuck with a product that doesnt work! If the price is to good to be true, it probably is!

Real dirt-bags here!

Mid-West Hunters and Tgscom, Inc. worked out of the same address. I ordered parts in March and never received them. My card was charged in May, still nothing. The Green Bay Police Dept. says that they are out of business! However, you may be charged for an order and never receive it. Better contact your credit card company if you have been charged, else you will likely be scammed. They charged my card in May. Luckily, I have put a stop to another item from TGSCOM, of more expense, ordered in April. Be careful in this day and time. There are other mail-order businesses that promise good results and even free trips for doing business with them. I'm sure there were honest employees/managers with them. When business went "south" temptation hit some of them. These are hard times. Be careful.

If you don't mind waiting 2-3 weeks for your product, or sitting on hold for about 20 min, or a 15% fee to cancel your order, by all means order from this place. Or pay the extra $3.00 and get it from amazon in 2 days. Your choice.

Original Message:
order date is 1/21/2012 (in stock rifle) today 2/10/2012, order still "in processing" don't you think this is to long?
This is the answer:
Normally, in stock items take approximately 7-10 business days to leave our facility. Unfortunately, we have recently been notified that this item has been delayed from our supplier. We have not been provided with any sort of estimated time of arrival. The item is in stock and not back ordered, but simply has been delayed. We will send you a separate email once the order ships out.

We do apologize for the inconveniences and have a wonderful day!

This web site is a joke. they dont keep the products in stock. when you place a order thats when they place a order also. they have it shipped to them and back out to you. If your item hasnt even shipped to you yet and you want to cancel they will charge you a 15% restocking fee for a item they dint even have in stock. As a dealer myself i didnt like ordering from another but had to for a customer but i promise you that also as a dealer i will make sure people stay clear of this site.

I ordered pistol grips from Midwest in June of 2010 which were not in stock and one year later I am still waiting for those grips to be shipped. Last fall I was told they were on backorder and to be patient. I emailed them in June of 2011 to ask why I had not received the grips in over a year but got no answer. I didn't know about the cancellation fee until I found this site. How can these people advertise an item for sale that they have no expectation of getting in stock? This may be in violation of some consumer law. I don't know if I shall cancel my order as I have not seen these grips for sale anywhere else but I would caution others to avoid dealing with Midwest. I just used their site to order a few products before doing research on them. My credit card company called two days later saying that it had been used in a questionable manner and wanted to know if the charges were valid. I have no doubt that Midwest Hunters Outlet is in existance to gain valid credit information and sell that for more profit than the legimate products they appear to be selling. Stay away and save yourself a lot of headache. My credit card has now been cancelled and I will have to wait to see if anything ever ships from these scammers

I found a too good to be true price for a Winchester Model 70 and after reading numerous negative posts, I was very skeptical. It seemed that most problems were with "backordered" items, so I called to confirm that it was in stock and took the additional precaution of creating a virtual credit card number (I think only Bank of America does this) and placing the order by phone. Two weeks later, I have the rifle, I inspected it at my local gun shop and everything is fine. Based on others' experiences I'll still take precautions should I wish to make a purchase from them in the future, but felt compelled to note that my experience was fine. The only thing I could have really wished was different was for faster processing, and that they don't send the tracking number.

I'm writing this because contrary to what the reviews on this website stated, I decided to take the chance and risk a negative experience with Midwest Hunters Hunter's Outlet. I just couldn't resist the price of their Arsenal Side-folding stock for the AK variants. My order would have cost $170 from K-var(great company still), but it was less than $140 from MHO. I even called ahead to stress my worries about shipping and returns and I was treated with finesse. My order arrived 4 DAYS AFTER I PLACED IT! Perfect condition! Thanks MHO!

I checked the status of my order and it says nothing ? I called and the rep told me it was pulled from the warehouse and ready to ship and they have 7-10 days to ship it? I called back and said cancel the order and "Jennifer" put me on hold and said yes we can cancel the order but there is this 15% fee. I replied "the item hasn't even shipped?" but Jenifer replied "that it has been processed already" what crock of [censor]. I'm going to call my bank to dispute the charges. Avoid these thieves!

this site is a fron for TGSCOM. i did get the item i ordered at a decent price. but when i decided to return, they have a 14 day return policy, as in the item needs to be postmarked within 14 days. problem is, they dont send you the RMA return # in time to send it in time. crooked as can be. on top of that, even if you do get to return something, they charge a 15% restocking fee.

i will never buy anything from these crooks ever again.

I was so frustrated by them after they ripped me off that I filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau. We went back and forth multiple times and the BBB finally gave them a "F" for a grade. I was hopeful that this might help others from getting ripped off. I just went onto the BBB site today and found that they now have an "A+" rating - you gotta' be kidding me! Then I remembered a story that aired on the news around mid-summer 2010 talking about how companies can "buy" a good BBB rating by paying fee's to the BBB for an "Accreditation" and / or membership. There are 61 complaints against this company just with the BBB alone! STAY AWAY!

The worst customer service I have ever seen. Did not receive an order confirmation for 7 days, when I asked about the order shipping I was told...
Please allow approximately 7-10 business days from the date your order was placed to RECEIVE YOUR ITEMS. We will e-mail you with tracking information when your order ships.
I ordered on the 18th and got the order confirmation on the 25th. 7-10 days TO REVCIEVE YOUR ORDER. It had already been 7 days without an email or any charges posted to my account.
When I called to cancel the order I was told…….
To request cancellation of an order please contact our Customer Support Team via telephone at [protected], Monday-Friday 8AM to 8PM CST and Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 5PM CST. For verification purposes, you will be asked to provide your complete billing and shipping addresses as well as the last four digits of the credit card used to place the order. Once the proper information is received, your order will be canceled within 24 hours. Please note that we are unable to complete any cancellations via e-mail or fax. Please note that there is a 15% cancellation fee for all non-firearm orders that are currently processing or that have been shipped. There is a 25% cancellation fee assessed on all canceled firearm orders that are currently processing or that have been shipped. If the item(s) on your order are on backorder, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
I then called customer service and spoke with Maria and Latisha. At this time my credit card had not been charged for the order. (I called the bank) So why would I get charged for something that had not been processed? When asked about the charges for the order they replied, “The order was processed and packaged 30 minutes ago”. So it took them 7 days to send me a confirmation for the order and as soon as I want to cancel it makes its way to the package and is about to ship? I know the Keebler elf made cookies but I guess times got hard and they started contract work with these guys. Something isn’t right with this. DO NOT USE THIS SITE! SCAM! If you are not convinced just look at all the reviews on the net. This has happen to too many people for you to spend your hard earned money on substandard service.

Stay away from them!

This company fills order VERY VERY slow. The estimated arrival time of the order was too late for my business. By the time I found that, I called their customer service and they told me they have not shipped the order. Therefore, I ask them to cancel the order. However, they want to charge 15% fee to cancel this order!

I think this practice does make any sense. How could they charge a restock fee for the order that is never processed and shipped?

This is one of the worst online businesses I have ever deal with. Stay away from them!

I read these comments and checked to see if I could contact Customer Service beforehand. I could not get it done through the website or the 800-number. And I noticed that the price on the item I was going to order jumped up by almost 20%. It was not on sale, and there was no warning. I too am suspicious that the very cheap prices come with a penalty. I decided not to order.

I agree that MidwestHuntersOutlet.com is not a good place to do business with.

I ordered a ProMag clip from them. When I tried using the clip it constantly and consistently jammed - obviously defective. I called MidwestHuntersOutlet.com [protected]) and asked for an exchange. I was informed by "Stacy" that I would have to contact the manufacture. I explained that if I had owned the product for several years, had productive use of the product, and then it broke - I agree I should go to the manufacturer. However, in this situation, I had purchased a product from MidwestHuntersOutlet.com, it didn't work, never worked, wasn't as advertised and I would like them to handle it. She refused. I asked for a manager and was able to speak to "Same K." at extension x328. (He would not provide his last name - another warning sign of a poorly run company / customer service.) He repeated what Stacy had told me and added I was outside their 14 day return window. I explained that I live in a metro area and have limited access to be able to shoot. It had only been ~ 90 days but it had been the first opportunity I had to actually try the mag out. He again said he couldn't (WOULDN'T) help me and I would have to try the manufacture. He also explained that they DO NOT carry inventory (again deceptive advertising on their website.) Rather, products are often only at their location a day. When a customer orders a product, they order it from the manufacturer and then turn around and ship it out to the customer once they receive it (he was trying to explain that it isn't their fault it didn't work. I agreed that it probably wasn't their fault it didn't work but since they were the point of sale, that they took my money in exchange for a product, I expected them to at least ensure I received a working product.)

On the plus side. I called ProMag and they were GREAT about the entire situation. They are sending me a call tag to ship back the defective mag to them and will send me a working one. GREAT customer service!

I realize defects occur in the manufacturing process - no biggie. It is how a company handles the rare occasion that matters to me. In this case, I will never do business, nor recommend MidwestHuntersOutlet.com to anyone. However, I will strongly recommend and use ProMag products!

Yeah, I just ordered a gun from them last Monday, and called today to find out why it hadn't shipped yet. Evidently, they hadn't gotten around to pulling and packing the order yet! I was told for the second time that it would ship out "this week".

Now get this: The price on the item was just over 1500, but a week later when I ordered it, the price had gone up about $150. When I called to check on the status of the order, the item was still in my online cart (I wasn't able to get the order to go through from the website, don't even ask) and the price had gone down $120 again, one week later. When I asked what my price would be since it hadn't shipped yet, they told me the higher price (when I ordered it). So I asked what would happen if I canceled the current order and re-ordered it today at the lower price. I was told that I would have to pay a 25% cancellation fee which would come to more that $400 on an item that hadn't even been pulled and shipped yet!

Avoid these [censor]!

I agree fully. Don't buy from them! I ordered some ammo from them and was back ordered for four months. It is all but impossible to cancel an order. It took several days and four phone calls to cancel. You have to do everything their way. No email cancellation requests are honored. Restocking charges are ridiculous for something they don't even have. Don't bother with them!

Customer service is terrible! I ordered a holster from them on 5/4, expected to get it by the weekend. I called "customer service" to see when it would ship and they would only tell me that the item would ship within 7 days. Within 7 days? Asked for a refund...15% restocking fee! Even though it hadn't shipped! This place is a joke! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
