Micwell.com Poor quality of dresses and impossible to return money back

I purchased prom dress from the website www.micwelldress.com. It was horrible, ‘coz they delivered bad-quality and torn dress. I returned it and after that I heard only fake promises and excuses. I was furious and asked to return money ASAP. Blah-blah, but nothing changed. Maybe someone has any ideas how to return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.

Micwell.com I only wish I would have seen these reviews before

Horrible! I had same experience that other reviewers had! So it is not isolated case. I only wish I would have seen these reviews before I paid $180 for a pile of fabric that has to go to Goodwill. I know it is nitpicking with good pricing, but it is not worth the headache and heartache not to mention stress of trying to get $$ back(which I did not) and then rushing to find a replacement at last minute. I will keep reporting every dance season to hopefully help someone else to not make the same mistake.

Micwell.com Dress was 3 inches too big in the bust and waist and a foot too long

I ordered a custom made dress with accurate measurements for my daughter's prom dress. The dress came 6 weeks later, in plenty of time for the prom, but the dress was 3 inches too big in the bust and waist and a foot too long. We visited a tailor who told us it would cost over $120 to fix the dress and suggested we send it back. After emailing Micwell's, I was told to photograph the dress at the waist, bust, and so on. I sent numerous photographs. The next email from MicWell's stated that I needed to photograph the dress a certain way. They sent examples of how to take the photos. I resent new photos to their specifications. I received an email stating they were sorry for their mistake, but the $120 cost was 70% the cost of the dress and they would only reimburse me $30 for the tailor. They said I could send it back and get a new dress, but there's no way I'm going to take a chance on this. Since the beginning of this debacle so much time has past that the original tailor can no longer have the dress ready in time. The new tailor could only tell me it would cost less than $200 to fix. Her dress has now become a $400.00 prom dress. I am escalating the dispute with paypal in hopes I get at least some of my money back.

Micwell.com Avoid them at all costs

I order a prom dress for my daughter. Emailed customer service to with her measurements to confirm the size and to ask about the color on the picture since it was not included in the color palate. The dress came 4 weeks later too small and the wrong color. I emailed them immediately and they asked me to send a picture of the dress to confirm it was the wrong color. I send the picture together with all the email exchanges. They asked to send more pictures! Like one picture was not enough to determine that the color red is NOT peach... After another series of email exchanges they offer two options.To keep the dress and they would reimburse me $30 (the dress cost was $199). or to send it back and after careful inspection to determine if the dress was damaged at all they would reimburse me the money. I had to send it back Federal express and provide a track number. Well, I went to FedEx to mail the dress and it would have cost $169 to send it back! It was a no win situation. In addition, the quality of the dress was POOR POOR POOR. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE is a nightmare.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's first prom from these people, not knowing how messed up they are. We put our order in 02/13/12 as of today 03/28/12...no dress. They sent us an email saying they couldn't get it to us by this Saturday (her prom is that night), but if we wanted to we could cancel our order and get 50?% of our money back. How come we have to give them 50% of our money when they were the ones that messed up and didn't get done in time? Then they sent another email within like 5 mins saying it was ready and would be sipped that night and we would get or tracking number within 24 hours. Never got that information and the was March 26th. So now it's almost Saturday and no dress. I can't afford to buy another dress so what does my daghter wear? I don't think this company cares anything about their customers as long as they get to keep the money. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! I will also posts this all over the internet so no one else has to go through this. Sucks seeing your child upset they can't go to their first prom in the dress they wanted. So mom's and girls stay away from this site.

Micwell.com Misrepresentation/refund

I ordered a prom dress for my daughter. I ordered a pre-select size 2, no custo
tailoring. Shipment stated 6-10 days, I needed the dress to be here and altered by my daughters prom on 4/21. When I read my confirmation email the next morning it stated the dress was in tailoring and would be shipped on 4/28. I did not ask for tailoring. The email also stated that If I canceled within 24 hours I would receive a refund. I emailed and just sent my 4th email with no response. This company is a scam, I did not request tailoring, I ordered a standard size and should have received the dress by 4/10 at the latest. Now I have to purchase another dress for my daughter. I wish I would have read the awful reviews before purchasing!

I bought evening dress from the website www.micwell.com, but my experience was horrible. I placed the order several weeks ago, but these ### delivered completely wrong dress. I returned it and waited 2 weeks, but no one replied my emails. Finally, I got the response that all such dresses were sold out, but they promised refund. I haven’t received it and have no idea what measures to take now. They are liars and scammers, so be careful and better avoid them. As well as post comments about your experience with them.

HORRIBLE! I ordered a prom dress for my daughter. We sent in measurements so we would be able to get a custom fit. WHAT A JOKE! The waist fit perfectly but the bust would require a watermelon to help fill it out. After doing everything the company asked ( sending pics in the dress, sending pics with tape measure in place, paying for return postage) they arbitrarily decided that they would reimburse 20%of the cost of the dress. It doesn't even cover return postage ! This has been going on for 3 months and there still is no resolution. BUYER BEWARE! TERRIBLE COMPANY!

DO NOT buy from this company! I paid over $200 for this dress on-line and the piece of crap dress that came in the mail looked nothing like the dress on-line. The workmanship was HORRIBLE! the stiches where falling out and puckered. It did not even come close to fitting my daughter. We followed the directions step by step. After all this the company will not even make ANY attempt to fix the problem. They told me it's my fault and they did the "best they could". Even if the dress fit my daughter I would NEVER make her wear it in public it's a joke! How cheap and ugly...

Absolutely Horrible! I ordered my dress on March 12 expecting it to arrive in 24-30 days, as explained on the website. HOWEVER, it is now April 23 and still no dress! my prom is only 5 days away, and if i don't have a dress or a refunded $150 by tomorrow all hell will break loose. I have tried calling and emailing but no response! BEWARE MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS! Do not use this site, i believe it is a scam.

Micwell.com refund

I wish I had read the reviews of Micwell before I ordered my daughters prom dress. My daughter was very excited to get her dress from Micwell it wasn't until after the order was placed that it was explained that she would not get her dress until roughly a month later which actually put the delivery date the WEEK of her prom so if there were alterations needed we would most likely not be able to get them done in time. I ordered her dress on 3/16/12 6:46 pm and sent a cancellation email on 3/18/12 at 4:30pm. Per the confirmation email I would be eligable for a 70% refund if I cancelled the order after 24 hours. Granted the email was sent more than 24 hours but less that 48 hours after confirmation. When someone did respond to my cancellation email I was told and given only 50% of my money back instead of the 70% as stated on THEIR EMAIL! This was the first and WILL BE THE LAST time I ever order from Micwell. I warn everyone who orders from this place BUYER BEWARE!

I recently purchased a dress from MicWell this February. Paid for it, paid for tailoring, paid for expedited shipping too... It has been 43 days- and I have NOTHING to show for it.
When you send the company an e-mail... You receive a reply from a "Nina Wong" as a response, I have gathered this is not a real person... But just a signature at the end of an emai. I corresponded via e-mail 3-4 times & was given assurance that 1. I would receive the dress by March 21st ( my event is in March 31st ) 2. Once the tailoring was complete they would send me a photograph of the dress I purchased 3. And then they slid in there that my dress would have no more than a 5% difference than what is in the pictures... I'm excuse me? How about when I send you measurements - you send me what I paid for exactly, with the exact measurements... Evidently business does not operate the same in China as it does in America
There are no laws set in place to prevent this company from taking your money & that just being the end of it.
The last email this company has responded to was on February 24th... Since then I have sent more than 6+ emails addressing my dissatisfaction with their business & their customer service. I have not recieved a single response from "Nina Wong", when I check my order status on their website... It says " our dress is in the tailoring process, 0 days to be shipped out" .. Well that sounds nice, like it would be on it's way ya know? NO, it has said that since March 10th. This company should be put out of business.

SAVE YOUR MONEY MOMS & YOUNG WOMEN- IF YOUR ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY- YOU WILL BE SCAMMED

So, all in all, I placed an order for a sheath column dress, paid for it to be tailored & for expedited shipping & 43 days later the only thing I have to show for it is $143.36 missing from my account (it was debited on the 12th of Feb) & all the emails I had with MicWells' customer service department "Nina Wong"
I have no dress. This company entered into an agreement with me, through my purchase of a good they sell. If this was an American company this is what you call a breech of contract my friends. I will be posting my corresponding e-mails for those of you to see following this review.
In closing, I have been completely ripped off by this company. They have no regard for the consumer.

DO NOT ORDER FROM MICWELL - I am saying this from experience. If you decide to order after reading the reviews that's on you, but it will decidedly not turn out the way you intend. Order you dress from a different company ladies. This one is only going to take your money & not contact you again.
As a matter of fact, I would LOVE if MicWell had a response to my post. At this point, I would take a response to anything... How about starting with all the unreturned emails? By the way- the contact phone # they list... You will never get through. List all your complaints. Hopefully it will help another person from getting scammed.

Ordered my daugher a prom dress and was told it did not pass inspection - a few days later we received this piece of crap of a dress- it had a big grease spot on the front and the collar was not even swen. they told me to take it to the cleaners and have them fix it and would credit me $10. I tried disputing this on my credit card but was told to send the dress back. No refund was given. DO NOT ORDER FROM this disgusting place.

Micwell.com It is very difficult to even get in touch with anyone

My daughter was so excited to find the dress she was looking for on the site www.micwell.com. We ordered the dress, it arrived timely enough however, according to their sizing chart on their website the dress was made inaccurately. I took it to a seamstress and they measured the bust and waist. According to their website a size 4 has a bust measurement of 33 1/2 inches and a waist measurement of 26 1/2 inches. The actual measurements of the dress they sent us was: Bust - 35 inches with a built in cup too large and Waist - 27 inches. My daughter is not able to use this dress and if we were to have it altered it would cost upwards of $100. I would also like to mention the skirt length is 3 inches longer than the picture on your website. The website states no returns but exchanges within 3 days. They do not offer any sort of exchanges. It is very difficult to even get in touch with anyone. Very disappointing!

"I will never again shop at Micwell group. I ordered dress and they said it would arrive at a certain time. Then changed the arrival date, so I tried to cancel my order. They then said I couldn't cancel and I couldn't get a full refund. I live in AK and they said "even though you did not recieve your shipping confirmation date within the 24hrs, you still needed to cancel within 24 hours". AND Finally, I said, whatever-ship the dress (bc I don't want to pay for nothing) and they said NO! Adding to that-they also said that they would only pay me 60% minus shipping costs, SHIPPING COSTS FOR A DRESS I NEVER RECIEVED. Never shop with this organization. EVER."

This company makes cheap knock offs. I couldn't wear my dress due to its poor craftsmanship. I wasn't the only one, my friend who bought her dress at the same time couldn't either. The stitching, the slit, the fastenings, the waist and more- the dress has no value in that condition. This dress couldn't fit anyone because of the disproportional measurements. No one should buy a dress from this site ever. I have lost $200 and I will never see it again. And yet they offered me a $10 coupon as if I were to buy from them again. It is ridiculous how much they can get away with and take your money. I have sent the dress back and they claim they did the right measurements even though it wasn't at all. What they claim to give me back will not even cover shipping.

I LOVE MICWELL
Just like everyone else I was a bit hesitant at first because I thought this site was too good to be true. I ordered three items. I choose 5-7 day shipping. Everything came within a week and a half in great condition. I get compliments on the pieces I bought. I already made another order and look forward to receiving it.

DO NOT BUY FROM MICWELL,
I ordered prom dress for my daughter, got the dress but the zipper hard to close because the zipper did not place right, they told me to use soap bar or candle to make it smooth, I did and still hard to close. Then they told me to send pictures, I did. I had to buy another dress for my daughter from Macy’s, and I told them we just want to return the dress because we are not satisfied with the product. This is what they told me

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. My prom experience was ruined due to this company. I ordered my dream dress months in advanced and paid for "express tailoring", just to ensure that it will arrive on time. The first time I ordered it without the express tailoring and the expected arrival date was a day after prom. I changed my order and even emailed them to ensure that it will get here on time. They told me it would be there at least a week before my prom date. I checked the mail everyday. I continued to email the company, since that was the only form of information I had for them. They lied and kept telling me it was on the way. I wondered why it was taking them so long to respond to one simple email. Until finally a day before prom, I received an email saying that they regret to inform me that it was JUST shipped out and should be there in a few days. I was devastated and demanded a refund. I told them they can keep the dress; I don't need it after my prom date. They said, "well maybe you'll consider using it for another event" or they can give me a coupon for my NEXT order. I told them I would never do any form of business with them ever again. I had to threaten them by destroying the reputation of their company in order to receive a guaranteed refund, upon their arrival of the original dress. I had to find a new prom dress a day before my prom! Nothing special was left by that time. The dress finally got here a week or two after. The dress came after the expected arrival date WITHOUT express tailoring. It was hideous! It looked like a cheap imitator of the picture! I wouldn't be caught dead in that terrible dress. I sent it back as soon as it got to my house. I just don't want anyone else to go through everything that I had to endure. Then from there they took a while to refund my money, even after they received the dress. Micwell has terrible customer service and was the worst company that I have ever experienced! If you've already ordered, cancel it! I learned my lesson.

I recently purchased a CUSTOMIZED dress from micwell. I sent the measurements EXACTLY as indicated in the directions. I recieved the dress yesterday, ordered it 2/09 it was not shipped untill 3/13 (past the indicated time frame). I recieved the supposedly CUSTOMIZED dress, and it was absolutely horrid. I emailed customer service, explained the situation. They responed asking me to send pictures of the measurements of this dress, after doing this i realized the dress maker must have thought women have completely flat breasts. They simply divided the number i sent them by 2. My bust measurements that I sent was 39.5 inches. the front of the dress was 20 inches the back was 20, same for the hip and waist area. (apparently humans are flat, without breasts or butts.) The way the woman asked me to measure the dress was not the way I was asked to measure myself for the sent in measurements. They asked me to measure from around the bottom of my neck until the floor, the women asked me to measure the dress from the part starting under my breasts to the bottom. And of course the dress buckled in the center!They assumed the length of my upper torso, WHEN THEY COULD HAVE ASKED ME TO SEND MORE SPECIFIC MEASUREMENTS IN, I would have happily done it in hopes of recieving a well made dress. THEY ASSUMED MY BACK AND MY CHEST MEASURED THE SAME, I guess women don't have breast anymore. I am waiting on another reply to my email, after reading the other reviews I am shocked. And if they think I will stop fighting for my money back, they are in for a suprise. Untill I recieve my refund, I will tweet of TWITTER, I will post on FACEBOOK, I will write a review on every site possible. I will write into teen magazines, I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS HOW MICWELL RUINS PROM EXPERIENCES.
This prom season, everyone will be aware of this incompetent company. The longer I wait for a refund, the more I will make sure EVERY girl knows about this company. AND I AM POSTING THIS ON EVERY SITE :)

I recently ordered from micwell.com paid 142.96 including shipping and insurance on the shipment. The dress was delivered 8 days prior the estimated shipping time according to the website. When I received the dress I was very disappointed. The dress fit well in a size 6, but the dress was made different from the dress shown in the picture in the website. The details in the dress were out of place and one side alignment would not match the other side alignment. The thread was loose in the beading details and one part of the dress was not even sewed in the dress it was unfinished. I did not have a problem with the sizing but the when I contacted micwell.com customer service they took one day to response to my email and they told me I needed to understand that the dress is made to order and that the tailoring differs from what is shown in the picture by 5% and that the if the sizing was an issue that they do not offer refund. The size of the dress fits me well, but the dress differ from the one shown in the micwell.com website by 50% difference. Only the color and beading type was 95% accurate other than that the dress was a complete disaster. I ordered from them because of the good reviews and the quality they claim to have but my order proved me wrong. Now the customer services is not willing to assist me with this issue. Where did the courtesy and money that I pay go, to a website with a false advertisement. Very disappointed of the website, micwell.com will sure not get my recommendations to anyone from now one. Very disappointed :-(
