I to have received such email and am asking for help I cannot pay the Cost of Transfer and I am not amenable to paying though western union since the money can be lost. the prize was 870, 000 GBP. Why can't they just debit the amount from the winnings ? Does Lloyds bank have different banking system than other country that exempts them and demands payment from the owners?

I too have received numerous similar winning notifications, but this is the first time I am responding by making a complaint against it. I am really sicken by the attitude of these people who prey on the innocence and ignorance of internet users. Can Microsft Corporation come up with some sort of program and software whereby interested and concerned internet users can work together to eradicate this sickening group of people.

What should I do about it?

Hello Everyone,

I received this email and at least two more in the past two weeks. I know they are SCAM's and will not respond I just wish someone could do something about them being sent to me. Yes they go into my SPAM folder but this needs to stop. If you want their emails it should be preapproved first. Email address' should be more private. I accidentally logged into a sight with my other email account and I am now having the same problem. Before hand I hardly ever got emails on that account unless they were personal. I wish someone could help us stop receivig these emails and all the other SPAM we get.

I would rather pray that these people who kept on fooling us around using Microsoft Lottery as a means to con us into coughing up some hard earned money if only to claim the alleged prize winnings die as soon as possible so that people like us who are indeed in dire need of money won't be hoping for nothing. Another thing is that why don't you do something to put a stop to these kind of activities of these kind of people.
