Microsoft awful

Outlook is the slowest on earth. I don't even like the way it looks.
I was recently cleaning my inbox from old letters, but then a mistake happened and all needed and important emails were deleted. I thought they were in deleted and didn't found lots of them. I called customer support asking them for a fast recovery, but they didn't help. I am not surprised.
I will change your service to another one, I'm tired of your awful outlook.

Microsoft not happy, unfortunately

We had to turn to Outlook and I didn't like it at the first sight.
I don't like the way my account looks.
Your system is very slow and not really efficient. I often see an error on my page while loading it. These emails are important to me and I just have to wait. It doesn't work when I use it on my different devices. I wish I could choose what to use and switch back to Hotmail...

Microsoft microsoft rewards

For business, I do research online. I thought Microsoft rewards would be a good way to earn business related materials or prizes while working. It has been a nightmare. My points have vanished from my account by the thousands. Some points didn't add on at all, often you can't reach Microsoft for days on end.
After three phone calls and about 12 emails, they insisted I somehow catch the problem, give them a recording of the actual problem (s) occurring and give them diagnostics of each of my new computers. As I said, my computers are new. I knew they couldn't be the problem. Also, I felt diagnostics and recordings violated my privacy. So,  I asked what would happen to the information I provided. Microsoft refused to tell me their evaluation process or what they use the info for. It took several emails before they promised to only use the information to help me with my claim.
On a video recording, I caught the points disappearing and not adding up.  After I documented the troubles occurring, through their chosen method,  Microsoft refused to admit there was a problem! They gave me a tiny percentage of the thousands of points they owed me, saying they only did this as a courtesy?! So, I did an internet search. It seems their system is plagued by disappearing points and other troubles. Worse yet, Microsoft knows there's a problem but refuses to acknowledge it. To me, this means you're running a scam on unsuspecting and hopeful people.  Everyone affected by this should contact the Better Business Bureau and refuse to do business with Microsoft. We should blitz social media with information on this scam. Other people need to know before they invest their time and effort.

Microsoft service with an technician

As I were trying to get issues on my computer fixed from downloading flash player. The technician was very rude towards the end of the conversation because I asked him about Macfree program not protecting the whole labtop. I lost signal and the call dropped and this is what the techican wrote on my screen. Very Racist! I called back and another technican acted as if they didnt have a supervisor available.

Microsoft automatic privacy settings and updates

1. Microsoft updated my operating system even though I continually selected NO. Now my printer, scanner, copier does not work.
There is no patch or update from Microsoft that recognises the unit.
Result... Out of pocket expenses and my time to go and buy a new printer, scanner, copier. That is 200 km of additional travel because you updated MY computer which I paid for out of my own earnings without my consent!
2. Privacy settings update.
Once again locked out of MY computer until I updated my Microsoft privacy settings which you set in the first place.
I remind you that I purchased the computer. it was not supplied by Microsoft.
I purchased the operating system when I bought the computer, Microsoft did not supply this for free!
Where do you get off forcing me to update my operating system without my consent?
When is Microsoft going to replace my printer, scanner, copier?

Microsoft microsoft license

31st of July my husband received a phone call from a man claiming to be a Microsoft representative. He wanted to have my husband buy a license because ours was expired. He did not get the mans name sadly. His number is [protected]. This man had my husband going into computer doing all kinds of stuff he had no idea what he was doing. A price came up and we are in financial difficulties and my husband told him right from the beginning we had no money, he insisted no charge. Had me go into my email and out of email. When creating an account didn't work with my 8 digit password for email address he tried to create a password for me. Was in my computer, Apparently this license was 2 years 15$ then he proceeded to ask my banking info and I absolutely will not give my banking info over the phone computer or otherwise. When my husband was trying to hang up the man, my husband was saying are we done now because I'm hanging up, my wife will not give that info so were done now", he said " I'm going to [censor] your wife in front of you" This man called again today August 1st and said to my husband do you remember me from yesterday". If this man works for you, might want to investigate him. This is a threat that can and will be taken seriously. Stalking now comes to mind. Home invasion. If he is not a representative of yours, contact the police. This man is with out a doubt a disgusting representation of what Microsoft is. If you follow up with the number given and it proves to true, and he is seriously an employee, spare other people from his ignorance and threats! And charge the S.O.B. I would also appreciate a returned response either way, please and thankyou. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com I do

Microsoft horrendous surface pro 4 product and horrendous customer service

23rd Janurary 2016: I bought my first surface pro 4 laptop
8th November 2016: Had to replace it with the 2nd surface pro

Problem: screen flickering issues, where the screen shakes so violently that you can barely see what's on the laptop.

Time and money wasted: I had to call the support centre, troubleshooted it for a few days, waited for the approval and the collection date (another few days), back up my computer (few hours), run down to the collection centre (a day), set up my computer on new laptop again (few hours).
14th November 2016 Had to replace it again with the 3rd and current surface pro

Problem: Phantom clicking on the screen, where randomly places on the screen will be clicked. This make videos pause and lower my productivity levels when I am typing documents.

Time and money wasted: I had to call the support centre, troubleshooted it for a few days, waited for the approval and the collection date (another few days), back up my computer (few hours), run down to the collection centre (a day), set up my computer on new laptop again (few hours).

June 2017: Experienced screen flickering issues again
Problem: Screen flickering issues again, and screen leaving imprints such that you can barely see what's on the laptop.

Time and money wasted:
3rd July 2017: Could not get any online support through Microsoft website because of the expiration of warranty, searched high and low for a customer support hotline (few hours). Called the support hotline number [protected] at 5.50 pm, only to have the phone cut off at 6.01pm. Customer service officer did not call back . With the screen problem getting severe, I contacted Microsoft via Facebook messenger and sent pictures of what I am experiencing (see photo attached) and they promised to have their escalations team get back to me within 24-48 business hours. In the meantime, I borrowed a laptop from a friend and had to set up the computer again (few hours).

7th July 2017 No calls or emails from escalations team at all for the past week. Contacted Microsoft via facebook messenger again and called the number [protected] again. This time, June from the customer service hotline has received the case and our conversation lasted for 1 hour and 34 minutes. And Darrel from the escalations team has emailed. They said they will get back to me 'in a couple of days'.

After one week - no response. I decided to call the number again. A different customer representative picked up and said he cant check my records because the system is down and they would call within the next 2 days.

After another week - no response. Called the number yet again. Another customer representative said they would call 'later that day'. Received an email from June saying that he couldn't call me at my number. (why? THE NUMBER WAS WRONG. do they not have all these information stored properly in the database?).
Now 27th July, I called the number again. Another representative said she would take over my case but---- she is unable to view my past records because the system is down. And she told me microsoft is only able to give me a technical support. Not a replacement.

In summary: I have had three surface pros 4 laptops malfunctioning within the span of slightly less than a year. With the latest surface pro 4 malfunctioning only 7 months after the replacement, I think it is unfair for me. I have had to deal with so much time wasted getting replacements after replacements and horrible customer service that either forgets to call you back or cant track down my records.

I have been very patient with this issue. Previously I was asking for a replacement but now I would like to seek a refund.

Microsoft xbox live/ horrible customer service

We've had numerous issues with Xbox! This time, my son was scammed out of money by another player on live and then never heard from that player after he gave them the money. My son was mad and messaged the player threatening to report them and used profanity. My son was blocked from online game use all together for 2 weeks! Not only was he blocked from communicating, but he also can not play an online game (which limits most of what you can do). So we are paying for xbox live gold (which you have to pay for just to be able to play their games) and he cannot use it at all.

I tried calling customer service and they said they cannot help me! They said I have to get on the Xbox Enforcement Site and file for a case review. So I click to file and they MAKE ME answer 12 questions Correctly BEFORE I CAN EVEN REQUEST A REVIEW. 12 questions that are mostly vague and don't make sense! If you get more than a few questions wrong, they make you wait another 24 hrs. before you can answer the questions again. So I got them wrong and had to wait 24 hrs to get on the site again.

EXAMPLES of Questions They make you answer correctly:

1. Participants in the Enforcement United Program are part of the enforcement team. True/False. (Answer- false, but how am i supposed to know that?!)
2. Do you think its ok to file numerous complaints against another player who did something wrong? (The answer is no but how VAGUE!)

I found out it is a violation to ask another player for money- so this guy scammed my son and got away with it, didn't get reported and now my son can't use a service I'm paying for. I don't understand why he wasn't only banned from communicating online. Why is he being blocked from playing his games all together?

So after waiting 24 hrs and trying the quiz again, I finaly got all 12 questions right. Then I only had 500 characters to voice my complaint so I had to WriteMyComplaintLikeThis and still could not fit everything together. They have to know their customer service is horrible. What big company like microsoft does not allow you to contact a 1-800 number and speak to someone directly about a matter instead of giving them the run around? It's not like they can't afford to have customer service staff! I have spent A LOT of money on Xbox. I have 3 different x boxs and tons of games. I pay for xbox live gold monthly. Next Christmas I'm getting a Playstation! Never again.

Also, once you put your credit card on xbox live- it does not allow you to remove it! I had numerous charges on my credit card that I didn't authorize because of it. And at that time I was unable to find a customer service number so I had to cancel my credit card all together. After that I never let my son use my credit card on there. We had to go to the store and buy xbox gift cards.

Microsoft discrimination by microsoft employees and kicked out of event-made by girls interactive stem exploitation

My fiancé decided to take me to this event to be supportive if women and girls and girl power and to show me that girls are powerful and can do anything especially in the Microsoft technology fields! We saw this event online and it said free to go to for anyone and to be empowered while there! When we showed up there we were told we had to fill out waivers for pictures and we did so and then we needed to register before we could go in! The 2 women up front contacted the project manager to get the approval to let us in which was pretty crappy feeling like we had to be approved to come to an event held by Microsoft that was free to the public, she then asked if he had children, we told them our children were grown and not here with us! She then went on to tell us she is uncomfortable with us being there and that we were not welcome to be there or come to an open event for anyone because we didn't have children! We were discriminated against because of our looks for one she was uncomfortable with the fact we had tattoos showing and that we didn't have children she looked at my fiancé like he was going to hurt children and that's why weren't allowed in there ! Horrible horrible customer service and employees! I will be contacting the news channels and more people inside Microsoft about this we have pictures and screenshots of what the event was and why it was for anyone! To empower girls and women and to support and then to have Microsoft employees who are women tell myself another women and her husband who is there as a women power advocate we had to leave because she didn't want us there is discusting and discriminatory against us! I know all the news channels will love this story and I hope they can get through to find out why Microsoft discriminates against women and men who want to learn more and be inspired by powerful women in this industry! I will also be reaching out to our legal council for more action since nobody from Microsoft wants to address this discrimination that occurred today by them
Please email back to fix this before Microsoft name gets dragged through the mud some more!
Katherine

Microsoft office home mac 2016

I purchased the office home Mac 2016, today. I would like to know if Microsoft has a U.S. telephone representative/agent. I had to call back multiple times without help, mainly because I am unable to share my computer with telephone help outside the U.S. and I could not understand what 90% of them were saying. This program is not working properly. A spiral wheel spins and, while in MS word, it locks the system--I have to turn off the computer. I use MS word for work and cannot function this way. I am very dissatisfied. I am unable to go into a MS store because there is not one in my location, the closest one is three hours away. I need to get a phone number for a U.S. telephone rep/agent to resolve this problem.

Microsoft refund refused because a credit card / debit card was not used.

My son Joe (14) accidentally purchased a battlefield premium pass and some points for Call of Duty using his mobile phone (O2)on the 6th April. These two items amount to £55.98. Order numbers are: [protected] and [protected]. He does not want either item and I (his mother) would like a refund. I have phoned Microsoft and O2 since the 6th April on numerous occasions, but I hit a brick wall everytime. I am told I cannot get a refund because the purchase was made from Joe's mobile ([protected]), which is linked to my bank account. Microsoft keep telling me they are not responsible for the refund, O2 is. When I phone O2, they tell me Microsoft are responsible for a refund. Since the bill has come from Microsoft, I think it is Microsoft's responsibility to refund me.

Microsoft xbox

We bought our son an Xbox One in December 2015 for Christmas. It worked until 6 weeks after the warranty ran out. It developed a start up error105. We went back to where we bought it and they said they could not do anything with it but to contact Microsoft which would be able to who us with this issue. After contacting Microsoft, they were unaware of what this start up error was but explained that we needed to send it back, they wanted payment of $140, and they would attempt to fix it. They could not guarantee a fix but they were billing us. If they could fix it and it worked for a short time they explained they would fix it a second time for free and if that did not resolve the problem they would consider replacing it. They explained the process would take a month or longer. When asked to speak to someone higher about this error we were told there was no one higher to talk to. When we asked for the employees number they stated they could not give it out. I am very surprised that although they do not know what this error is, they are still willing to take money from us to fix it and they are not backing up this product. Basically we have a Microsoft paperweight.
Was wondering if there is anything else we can do as this machine is slightly over the year warranty but this is a hardware problem not a software issue which they will not back up.
Looking for some help as this is very disturbing that a company as grand as Microsoft does not back up rheur product.

Report this to government, I think, not Microsoft. Go to the gov't scam site. Microsoft wishes they would disappear too. They are using them and us for the scam.
