Microsoft windows 10 forced update

After weeks of saying, "no", MS forced the recent update to my laptop, but it could not install. This created a loop leading to a blank screen when I turn it on. MS created this problem, told me it would take five days for next level of help to get back to me. Level 1 said they could not help over phone. Case #[protected], March 14, 10:30am EST. I was told to drive an hour to Microsoft store, pay minimum of $50 for data backup, and have win 10 reinstalled with latest updates. Then I was going to have to drive back to store, at an unknown time, to pick up laptop.
I called several experts in the area, and all gave the same MS solution, to backup data and reinstall windows. I am having job done for $130, locally.
For restitution, I am requesting that MS grant me five free years of my MS office personal subscription. I'm sure that just means submitting a code at your end. My account is registered under Joseph Dudiak, [protected] (or [protected]). Email is [protected]@twcny.rr.com.
There's no doubt MS is fully aware of this update problem, and has chosen to delay a fix for some reason. I was declining the update, to allow for a patch to fix the problem. Instead, Microsoft forced the problem on me. I own my computer, and Microsoft highjacked it, forcing me to pay for repairs. I don't see how my request for a complimentary Office subscription is unreasonable, under the circumstances.
I respectfully await your reply.

Motherboard & CPU went bad in my computer. After installing new hardware my Windows 7 Pro won't reactivate & after sitting on hold for more than half hour for a technician I was told I have to buy a new license of Windows 7. He said the license goes with the motherboard and I'll have to buy another one. That is [censor]. You people are such rip off artists.

Microsoft windows 10

After the automatic Update from Windows, my PC began shutting down and rebooting by itself. Sometimes I couldn't shut it down myself and had to kill it. All drivers are up to date. Then I decided to reset the pc. Not even that was possible. Always ended with a bluescreen and a cryly saying: a problem occured, PC must be rebooted. Great - since I need it for business, I had to buy a new one. Who will cover these costs now? The IT specialist even said, he can't do anything anymore. It's really, really annoying. I spent more than 10 hrs trying to fix it. Sometimes there was not even anything readable on the bluescreen, but only lines (look at picture i enclosed). It didn't regocnize my password anymore. The update even destroyed the recovery. There was no way to rescue it somehow.

please answer to my email, for the business email doesn't work anymore: b.[protected]@chinesische-heilkunst.ch
cost of new pc: 640 CHF (asus)
IBAN: CH98 [protected] 2
Account owner: Roland Caprari, Praxis für Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin

Thank you for taking time, reviewing my issue.

Microsoft 2007 microsoft office

My computers are configure to auto update. Received updates automatically on both computers on 2/14/18 which rendered my ability to click on the MS Office icons null. Before the update, I was able to click on MS Word or MS Excel or another of the MS Office suite 2007, and the program would open to a blank document. Now the icons are gone. I can't find the programs to create new documents.

Also, the updates will not allow you to un-install them.

My 2007 MS Office Suite was legal, bought and paid for - MINE! Just because Microsoft stopped supporting 2007 MS Office does not give them the right to remove MY programs. I'm not asking them for support! MY programs worked just fine! And I want them back.

Microsoft xbox autorenew

So I just got charged for overdraft. I turned off auto renew a month ago yet I got charged for another [censor] game pass. It didn't even tell me the game pass auto renewed and I never paid for or started it. I turned off xbox live auto renew a month ago yet here I am now down $14 I didn't have in the first place because the [censor] xbox kept charging for crap it never told me about! Buying one was a big f*cling mistake. Alteast playstation asks you before charging.

Microsoft ms office upgrade purchase

I am trying to upgrade my Office 2007 Professional to 365 but, as I live in Japan, I have a problem which cannot be resolved by the Help Desk. I want the product in UK English, not Japanese, so even though my MS account has all my details including address and credit card number when I try to make the purchase the system assumes I am in the UK and will not allow me to enter my Japanese address. If I tell the system that I am in Japan it won't allow me to purchase the product I want (365 Home) but forces me to try and purchase a Japanese version of 365 called Solo which doesn't have the features I need.
Surely it isn't beyond the wit of the system designers to understand that not everybody living in Japan is Japanese? I just want to make a purchase from you and you are preventing me from doing so.
See service request number [protected] for more information.

Microsoft extremely poor customer service

I called the company for technical support on 1/7/2018. When the technician could not help, she suggested that I purchase a one month subscription for technical support where a technician could access my computer. I asked if that didn't work, because this is a work computer, she said I could be refunded. The support didn't work and she said she was transferring me to billing. The whole phone call with hold, lasted 2 hours and 36 min. She periodically got on the phone to see if I was still holding. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said someone would call me within the hour. I hung up and no one returned my call. I have disputed the charge with my bank.
I tried calling again yesterday, 1/18/2018, and spoke to someone in billing.
They said I needed to talk to tech support. The guy in tech support said I needed to talk to billing and he would stay on the line with me to figure this out. We were on the phone with a girl in billing named Tash. She said this was a tech issue that they needed to do the refund. We then discovered the tech guy was not on the line anymore.
I gave Tash both my personal account, work account and debit card number and she could not find my purchase. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said there was no one available. I said I would wait. After about 30 min. she came back on the phone and said she spoke to a supervisor and my support was nonrefundable. That call took approximately 1 1/2 hours, still no resolution, no call back from a supervisor. This is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I am an MIE certified teacher and use your products all the time. This is a huge disappointment to me.
I am requesting a refund plus compensation for my time. (over 3 hours $100.00)
My purchase invoice number is [protected]
Microsoft Case numbers: [protected] and [protected]
Reference numbers : 1/7/2018 [protected]/4468654

Your lack of customer service and inability to speak to someone who can help resolve my issue is completely unacceptable.
Please have someone contact me ASAP at [protected].

Microsoft microsoft outlook

Your Microsoft Outlook server doesn't send emails from my Windows Lumia 640 Phone to the emails I desire. Nor does it do the same for my Microsoft Windows "10" H.P. Laptop Computer. Microsoft lies about a lot of things. Windows is not a good product, despite what some consumers, customers and other users are saying, if it was, then I wouldn't be on this board, right now. I'm going to get "Non-Windows Cellphone, " and "Laptop Alternative [PC'] "I think it's best.

Microsoft missing refund

I returned a laptop I ordered from the online store to one of the retail locations on December 22nd. The employee in the store told me they would send it back to the warehouse and I would receive a refund in 4-5 days. It's now almost been 3 weeks and still no refund. No correspondence from them, the only time I am updates is when I call them to find out where my money is. I have called customer support 8 separate times and the issue has still not been resolved. I have never been so frustrated and unhappy with a company in my entire life. Worst customer service. Will not be giving Microsoft a penny of my money ever again. YOU HAVE THE LAPTOP SO I WOULD LIKE MY REFUND PLEASE AND THANK YOU. Unbelievable...

Microsoft yearly charge for support

I had a weird msg years ago .. someone trying to take over my pc .. Microsoft helped me. They sold me a good virus software and loaded it for me. Each year, Microsoft charged me $140.87, whether I ever called them or not. Since I am chronically I'll and in pain 24x7, I don't call them. This year, I am unable to keep up with hospital bills. I put the charge on my Discover card, which I haven't used or even seen in years, in dispute. If I can't pay my medical bills and don't want to leave my family in debt, I think a charge for non-existent Microsoft services wouldn't be my first priority. I would have canceled the card or the subscription, but I didn't even know where the card was. I'm too sick to read my email. Well, cancel my subscription. You can't get blood out of a dead turnip!

I'm sorry to hear of your health.

I'd recommend, whereas you don't know where the card even is, I'd recommend closing the Discover card account. This website has nothing to do with Microsoft, so you'll still need to contact them directly about the debt.

Microsoft microsoft windows 10

On 1/1/18, microsoft put a system update on my computer. It took hours for this thing to load, rendering my computer unusable. Now, next day, I cant use my computer at all. All I get is a black screen after it does the initial start up.

I didn't want windows 10 loaded in the first place. Microsoft took over my computer early in 2017 for that too. Now, totally ruined my computer. I can't get it to work at all.

How can a company be allowed to get away with that, just take over your computer and make it unusable?. Where are the lawyers and class action lawsuits?

I hate microsoft. I will never use their product again. I guess this the best news for apple. I'm sure microsoft will lose customers in droves. I am now an apple convert. Microsoft, you suck big time.

I love Windows 10. It's a great operating system, but has never been forced onto any system. Once installed, however, it does offer the option of installing updates. You may want to uninstall the latest update, as Windows 10 has a feature for that.

Microsoft windows 10 slow

I have just got a new laptop, already installed with Windows 10. Before this, I had a laptop with it's latest update being Windows 8. I edit videos and work with many applications, and usually with my old laptop, I would use Windows Movie Maker. I am very disappointed with the Windows Photos application. It is slow, hard to work with, and doesn't have nearly as many features that Windows Movie Maker did. I can't even tell if I have my pictures synced, because when I try to preview it, it freezes up on one frame while the audio continues to play. It's a shame.

Microsoft office home and student

I want to thank them so much for removing my ability to simply insert a disk and type install...it was so much more fun spending 3 F* hours to get NOTHING accomplished. They ask for an email I haven't used in 10 gd years...I don't have it...so they send a code that I never get...I go back in and use a different email and they gave me a form to fill out that asks for passwords used in the past...FOR AN ACCOUNT THAT I CAN'T REMEMBER A PASSWORD ON. Are there high school graduates working there?

So they don't accept that form and they give me one asking for a credit card that I used 10 gd years ago...My guess is that card is on a garbage pile somewhere slowing decaying to blend in to the environment...which is where the person who came up with the idea of not making download disks should also be.

I would love to take their product back to best buy but unfortunately I am tied to using it. That is just sad

Microsoft recent update messed up

I'm becoming very frustrated with Microsoft. I'm sending out an all out message to them, in hopes they see this message and will actually fix the problem since they caused it. Your virtual assistant is not a help either when pointing out problems YOU started.

My PC runs windows 10, and was working fine till the latest update. Once the update finished, I've been dealing with some issues. First was an annoying popup for me to sign up for One Point Access or something like that. I didn't like the idea of having all my passwords linked to either my fingerprint, PIN number, or another password but you people at Microsoft never gave me an option to say, "No thanks." The smart thing to do is to NOT have all your eggs in one basket and while I have multiple passwords for multiple things, I keep track of them and if I can't remember, I just change it anyways. These days, with fraud, identity theft, and scams, you can't be too careful.

In addition, my PC will restart at random while I'm in the middle of a game, or video. This makes me paranoid for a virus infection, but nothing is popping up on my scanners. So naturally, I assumed this had something with the update, and it wouldn't be the first time an update messed my PC and the Programs on it. I ask you as a loyal Microsoft customer to fix this. Now. I did some digging and learned I'm not the only one having these issues. Instead of having your virtual assistant in showing us how to fix the problem you made, work for your paycheck and fix it like your supposed to or send me a check for the same amount a Microsoft Technician would make a year along with the instructions to fix my issue. My PC was running just fine until the update, and not even resetting the restore point works to fix it myself.

Microsoft windows 10 updates are very annoying.

When notified of windows 10 updates, I wait until I am finished with a work session and do not plan too use whichever of my involved personal or work Windows 10 computers (Azus, Dell and HP). I either activate the update by choosing update and restart or update and shut down, or I have scheduled it for an update that same evening.

I recall that this used to work well, i.e. upon restarting I'd get a polite message that the updates are installed with an opportunity to review them, but only if I wished to do so.

However, now when I restart it many hours after the update in installed it say's "Hi, we have some updates for you" and I am blocked from working, often for well over 15 minutes and occasionally even for hours.

This is completely unacceptable and ridiculous at face value! And of course you will just badger me and even literally box me into activating the updates when I inevitably have to shut it down. It seems you are obsessed with bullying us Windows users into accepting your own self importance. What other possible explanation is there for this belligerent passive aggressive behavior?

Please fix this divisive, unnecessary and annoying practice.

Microsoft inability to obtain support

I have a HP laptop (Z1E09PA) running Windows 10 purchased 11 months ago. Yesterday I noticed it did not go into sleep mode after 20 minutes as usual . I checked settings and found that it was set to go into sleep mode after 2o minutes . Today I had a chat session with an HP technician who took remote control of my laptop and after about 20 minutes he said that the problem started after the last Windows 10 update . He tried installing a chipset (what ever that is) and changed some settings but that did not work. He also thought there might be something wrong with my Microsoft account and suggested I use the Microsoft chat service to sort it out .I have used the chat service before without resolution of a previous problem .
I am attaching an email sent to [protected]@microsoft.com on the 20/9/17 .I have not had a reply . Attached is also a copy of a letter I sent to Microsoft Pty.Ltd PO Box 91 North Ryde NSW 1670. I have not had a reply to this let. I was considering putting this matter in the hands of the NSW Ombudsman but decided I would send you an official complaint
