That is complete and utter BS. I hope you didn't respond to that. You should forward this to Microsoft... I'm sure they would be interested to know that someone is using their company name to try and rip people off.

The world is so full of crooks!

I received another scam E-mail for the microsoft lottery and I won another 100, 000.00 dollars. Thank you Bill Gates, still have not received my money though. I have a huge issue with these scams and the ###, low life, unfit to be in society as human beings they pretend to be. I worked out of my home running a website selling electronics for over the last two years. The competition selling electronics and starting a brand new website was formidable enough without teams of scam ### ripping me off. I had no protection from even my own gateway provider that I'll call "Hells Cargo" even after they authorized my sales with their authorization system, allowing these fraudualent scammers based in Ghana and Nigeria to continue ordering tens of thousands of dollars of electronics from my website so that their partners here in the U.S.A. can pick up the packages they had shipped to locations they have been watching long enough to know when its safe to grab the goods. They never get caught and the police dont seem to give a damn about internet fraud, even though people like you and I have ID stolen and used by these jerks daily. My fiance' applied for work online with a "mystery shopper or secret shopper" outfit. She was to reveiw a walmart and a money gram for her first assignment. She received two money gram money orders for something like 18 or 19 hundred dollars, she was to shop with 200 dollars of it then send the rest back to the company using the money gram store for new money orders. Of course this was just way to suspicious so we waited several days before attempting to do anything, we wanted to be sure they had plenty of time to clear the bank if they were in fact bogus or previously cashed. So, we go to the money gram store (US BANK) ask the teller if they are any good. The teller said "well, its a money order, of course its good. You have to buy them with cash!" Still uneasy with it we asked that she verify the two drafts and she took it to her boss so she could do so. I meanwhile have been waiting outside for the last 25 minutes wondering why this is taking so long, so I go in and ask my fiance' and she said they wouldnt cash them unless she opened an account. Obviuosly that was a ploy to detain us. I stepped back outside to wait even more and then what do you know! Two police pull into the lot and park then directed themselves to me asking if I was waiting for someone in the bank. I said yes, my fiance' is in trying to find out if some money orders she received are any good or not. The cops told me they were called because my fiance was in trying to open an account with bad checks. We were searched, interrogated, had the truck searched and then her purse and my wallet searched as we stood in the middle of the bank looking like criminals and treated like criminals by the cops as well. The whole thing was very maddening to say the least. After we proved to the police we were not drug addicts or career criminals and ID theives by explaining the story and them checking us out they did not even want the information we had on who actually was the criminal. We saved the E-mails and phone numbers and names yet we get treated like the ### and the cops dont care about going to the orchastrators of the whole scam. Now, I get this great little E-mail from Lillian Smith on behalf of the Microsoft lottery drawing and I have her email address, phone number and I bet if microsoft attached a stat counter to my email addy they could find out her IP address to narrow down a search for her little network of low lives. I just wish these preditors would get caught and punished severely enough to detere the rest of them. The department of justice should make themselves integrated with local and state police departments so that juristictions are not an issue as the internet is not a local or state problem, its international and world wide and should have world wide co-opperation inforcing illegal activities.
