Dear Tourists and friends

Never stay in Michelle Corporate Guest House, Michelle Avenue, Randhard, Johannesburg, South Africa.

They are cheats, fraudsters and racists! They prominently display a forged certificate & badge issued for a 4 Star Bed & Breakfast Guest House, though they are not accredited nor graded by South African Tourism. Their rooms are full of cockroaches and insects and service poor. On complaining for better house keeping, they got me forcibly evicted and made malicious charges/ complaints to my company that I used to get drunk and misbehave and used to ask for false food bills to cover up for my expense on alcohol. The only sane person around was Michael, an attendant (Cell: +[protected], +[protected]) and even he is treated poorly and racially by his employers especially the above manager. My integrity can be checked by anybody from Michael else I would not be posting here nor would I be complaining to South African Tourism against the fraud by this Guest House.

Please spread the word around. These are the only criminals I met in South Africa and they call themselves educated since the owners is a noted Skin Specialist! Shame!

For picture of the sinister guest house, please email me since it is too heavy to be uploaded here.

Appended below is the status update to me by the SA Tourism Board on the investigation being conducted by South African Tourism and which might lead to criminal charges against the owner & the guest house.

QUOTE:

Good day Sat,

We are following our formal procedures, which could result in criminal charges if the establishment do not comply to our terms & conditions as set out in our formal letters to them, which form part of these formal procedures, of which I cannot divulge more information. The establishment is not defending themselves and is currently giving us their full cooperation.

Kind regards

We do not take the absurd allegations seriuosly. Mr Sat Chack is a seriously mentally disturbed person. He was a guest and his accommodation was supposed to be paid by some business. It is true that we requested him to leave the premises due to non payment. He was an unreasonable guest complaining about ridiculous things like the curtain rails alledgly not being perfectly level (03h00 in the morning!) We have never had complaints of "cockroaches" before or after him because our establichment regards higiene as one of our core values.
It did transpire that he was arrested by the South African Police for apparently fraudulent deals regarding his hired vehicle.
We have been in business for 11 years and fortunately did not have to deal with guests the like of Mr Chack.
We applied for and were succesfully granted a FOUR STAR rating by the South African Tourism Board from 2004 till 2009. We decided not to re-apply as from 2010 because our values were well known and we were in any case fully booked by satisfied recurring guests. I discussed this with Mr Marcus Jordaan of the tourism board. We modified the board to indicate that the grading was valid till 2009.
