Michaels Stores mansfield, ma store

I went to use my 50% off coupon on a real cart and was told I wasn't allowed to use it on said item. Girl was very rude about it so I left the store. Her name was Ariana and I would like a follow up about this. My email is [protected]@gmail.com. I believe I was mistold information and that upsets me because I didnt get to use my coupon when I believe I should have been able to I have seen others do it.

Michaels Stores frames

On 7/27/18, I purchased 14 frames. When I received them, one was broken, two were so flimsy that they were ready to break and two I didn't like, so I called Michaels to get a return transaction label. I returned five frames last week, and got a credit for one of the frames. I called this morning, and talked to a woman called Tammy. She put me on hold for about 20 minutes to find my order and then to check on what to do. She agreed to partially refund me. I paid $29.20 for three frames, but only got refunded $26... and some cents. This is inadmissible. She kept apologizing, and saying that's what she had in front of her. What kind of business is that. Michael's policy is to "gladly offer a refund if not satisfied." You should say that you will partially refund the merchandise. I will not advertise Michaels ever.

Michaels Stores harassment/abuse/hostile environment

I went shopping at the Michael's in Rancho Cucamonga CA to purchase a birthday gift for my neighbor that just moved in. I was helped by a wonderful employee named Stacey, she really knew the store products and recommended the perfect items with utmost authenticity and enthusiasm. Upon checking out however, a very rude, condescending worker named Norka kept trying to overcharge me, wouldn't take my coupon, then answered the phone and went to help the customer on the phoneline instead of taking my payment, which held up the line in store. She tried to charge me for the plastic bags she put the items in (Michael's doesn't charge for grocery bags) and when I asked to speak with a manager she literally snapped, pushed the bag at me and told me to "[censored] off, go to a different store because I've had it". I was speechless. I used to work in retail on the east coast and understand people have rough days, but I don't know what permits someone to treat others so poorly like this. She was even worse and more verbally abusive to her co-workers demanding they drop what they're doing and do what she says no matter how long the line was. Talk about power-hungry. Please remove her immediately.

Michaels Stores hole punch

I had not used the product, requested a refund within a week, and had the receipt, box, and bag with it. The lady at the counter told me the policy was that since I had opened the package a little to determine if my arthritis could handle the pressure, she could not return the hole punch. I walked out and threw away the product because I had no use for it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY! I refuse to shop at a store with such a terrible refund policy!

Michaels Stores payment and customer care

I have been an active client of Michael's for the past 5 years. We own a Paint and Sip studio and have purchased 1000s of canvasses in the past along with paint.
I always go to the same store where I am also familiar to some employee s and the employees that are around at least know I am a good long term customer.
We opened a new bank account and wanted to pay with a starter check they gave me ( card haven't arrived yet) so I went to one of the manager and asked if I could give them a company check and she replied that yes if I had my ID of course and yes she knows me.
Arriving at the cashier I gave my starter check that had all the info. My ID. Phone number ( some of them even came to my studio to paint invited by me)
My studio is about 2 miles max away and well knowned. I refers I had a class in 30 too and was in a hurry.
When the young cashier girl asked from approval to another ( always) grumpy one ( for years...not a smile...nothing toward customers) the older one said in rage " No! This is a starter check! We won't accept it"
" But I just talked to a manager and I am a very good client and you know me for years. You have all the info of my business account my iD and phone number"
I never ever had a payment problem or anything .
Another one felt she was suddenly empowered by a decision to take and joined the decision. I wasn't allowed to go see the manager and the old one walkie talkies to tell her I had to stay. I was very upset and humiliated as the way they treated me. My company never had an issue and have bring thousands of dollars to you. This is my local store and I got late for my class. Had to wait for someone to bring me cash. Legally my check had all the info for the payment and was a company check. I also proposed then to call bank.
Very very disappointed. And mainly the way clients are treated with anger and power strangle the agressivity over good clients was sad to watch. I felt like crying so nasty they we're.
Very very upset of that lack of consideration.

Michaels Stores customer service

At work one day, I ran out of red grosgrain 5/8" ribbon, and I thought I'd call Michaels and ask because I was working. I called to ask about a certain kind of ribbon, and the manager answered, then immediately asked me to hold. I did, and when she came back in the line, she said her name is Kirsten. She said because they were busy, check online, rather than going to check if they had it in store for me.

Michaels Stores customer service

I picked up an order from the rear of the store and Weston waited on me. I had picked up a very large stack of scrapbook papers about 6 reams. I asked if he could ring up one small item. He said "No". So I put it back.
Went today to pick an order and There was a huge counterspace and I had two items on the counter he gets my package but takes it to a completely different counter for me to sign a piece of paper instead of coming to where I was so I had to pick up my items and go to him it's those little things where someone is just trying to be rude so subtly. I didn't dare ask him to bring up my two items so when I checked out at the front register I was looking for a coupon and the young man at the front register said please have it ready next time, he proceeded to use that same coupon that he had behind the counter but I didn't appreciate getting a lecture about having my coupon ready.

Good morning,
I'm just emailing because Michaels located in Raleigh, NC in the Brier Creek area never have t shirts. There is no way their store should be out of shirts for 2 weeks at a time. I don't know if management is doing a terrible job of ordering or what but I have had this conversation with several customers and the only thing we can do is give our business to AC Moore. Please address.

Michaels Stores custom framing

I brought an item into your store in Poughkeepsie, NY. Currently it has been give back to them 3 times to be fixed. The first time it was given to me with what was supposed to be a brand new frame, yet it was scratched all over it. The item was not stretched and the wood that it was supposed to be stretched on to was showing all above the frame, since it was stretched over the wood using 'clips ' (never saw that before, but would have been alright if done properly. Also, the glass was scratched on the underside. The mat was also all frayed. The woman who presented it to me said that she was the one that framed it and did not see anything wrong. I would not accept it, and they put a new frame on it, but did not change the glass or fix the mat. Again, I would not accept it, so it was there for yet another 2-1/2 weeks. I just went in for the third time to pick it up and even though it was better, the framer got all kinds of dirt under the glass, which is still scratched and was never addressed. I brought it home this time on May 24th yhinking that the 'dirt ' under the frame would move and be alright. Instead there must have been more dirt, the frame had a small chip that I did notice and the glass is STILL scratched. I don't know if I will ever go back to Michael's stores again, not only because of the mess they made if my artwork, but moreover, the way I was treated like I was STUPID and should not care about the damages. I am tempted to go back again, but I am not looking forward to the attitudes. It is a shame because I had over things framed there that are absolutely gorgeous. This framing department is made up of all new staff, so I guess I should not expect anything better. The old staff was remarkably good. It is really too bad, since my art
work is ruined.

Michaels Stores customer service

I brought 6 packs of colored variety pens back too Micheal's for a return gift card due to loosing my receipt somewhere between Florida and California. I teach Sunday school and was having a poetry Bible contest. The pens did not qualify for the exact test. So on Tuesday May 2018 at 15 minutes till 11 am I went into Micheal's brought pens to customer service the very young lady batted her eyes very fast with a low determended I don't think so look. Said I have to talk to my manager about returning these with no receipt. I said sure I bought them in lakeside Florida I came here for my poetry Sunday school event and I can not use them I need to exchange for a different title. She being young very chunky kinda long dark hair and wide glasses walked off from the register very fast not looking back. My phone rang and it was my pastor asking will I be returning those much longer? Then I said nope heresies comes I'll see Ya soon. She came up in front of me batting her eyes very fast like she had a twitch condition in able to control the eye movements. I'm thinking she should really seek a doctor for her eye condition. Then she while blinking says you may not return these pens to any Micheal's at all. These are close to 200 dollars and my manger says he'll no not here or any other Micheal's. I looked at the very inexperienced young lady and said you don't have to be so Kurt. Wow you didn't have to make it like this. You think those pens are stolen. I did not steal one of those pens. I simplycant find my receipt and really your not loosing any money putting my balance on card cause if you think there stolen the amount in pens still stays the same if transferred to a gift card. Explain please what I would gain. You can't cause you just made a fool of ur self and this Mexican Salinas Micheal's. So I want this chunky Kurt mean young lady who judged me from stereo typing me as a Florida Sunday school thief that I must protect to be. Fired lose of job and manger demoted to counter person due to lack of mental proportions on levels of have I lost anyoney with this teacher today. Please be advised if you live in Salinas don't shop Micheal's you will be judged and made a fool if so they think. I will fix this I said calmly as I exited the store. Thank you Ms Candy lyons

Hi! I am not sure of how the exact situation you had went down with the associate at the time, and I apologize for that. However, our policy IS and does STATE that we may NOT except non-receipted returns over $25-$50. This does not mean anyone is discriminating or stereotyping against you, this is something all associates must do with all customers who have these pricey non-receipted returns.

Michaels Stores I did not received my full purchase, only one item.

Hello,

I purchased three items online and I only received one item. I checked the track status on the other two and it states that it was delivered. I haven't. The box where the one item was in it, came horrible packaging. This has never happened to me before. Either I recieved my other two items or I demand a refund. This is unacceptable.

Michaels Stores signature frames

I have used the signature frames for years to frame and sell my watercolor block prints. The variety of sizes has been fantastic as I cut my own blocks and need odd sized frames as they are non-standard. Doing my own mats has allowed me to frame my work to fit the signature frames without having to make all my work a standard size. Now that Aaron Bros is closed I am worried I will no longer have access to these black wood frames that suit my work so well. I have been a great customer, spending hundreds of dollars a year and would like to continue the partnership.

Michaels Stores coupons

I was enticed to come to the store with a spectacular coupon ("20% off everything including sale items"). Sadly when I arrived at checkout NONE Of my items qualified — they were "clearance". The cashiers tried to "teach" me the difference right there in the checkout line .. one of them shouting from another register ... really? Absurd.

I am tired of doing business with companies that try to pull you in with offers that really don't exist. To me things on "sale" and things on "clearance" are indistinguishable... as, I think they are with most customers. It reminds me if an experience with another retailer that advertised "all frames 40% off" except, of course, the one I selected. Why? It was on another wall was the explanation.

I love a bargain and I search for them ... I'm not trying to get something that I don't believe they haven't offered. I'm just tired of having the rug pulled out from underneath me at the cash register.

To touch up on the previous reply, an item that is on clearance means the percentage off is higher than 60%. An item on sale will be below 60%. There is a difference between the two.

Michaels Stores customer service

On February 28th at 8:55pm, at 7991 Eastchase Pkwy. I didn't even walk halfway in the store when all 3 staff members rudely said, " We close in 5 minutes. I just wanted to take a quick peek. I was a retail manager in the Riverchase Galleria in 1991. I am 49 years old and that was the rudest staff I have ever come across in my entire life . If there were cameras in the store. I would have reprimanded all 3 of them.

Michaels Stores customer service was horrible

I was in store #6726 around 5:30pm tonight. The girl who rang me out at the counter was super rude! She was giving me attitude and not listening to anything said. I noticed with with the people before me too. If all I'm going to receive is rude remarks I will find other places to get my supplies for my buisness and I will let other buisness people I know to do the same thing. I usually walk out of this store happy today I walked out mad and started writing this.

The store clerks are offensive, the second I set foot in the store numerous clerks swarm around my girlfriend and I and continue to do so the entire time . they proceed to repeatedly ask if we need help finding something, treating us as though qw are gonna steal something . it's very uncomfortable, offensive, and annoying. Neither of us has stolen anything from there before and we spend a good amount of cash eveeytime. There customer service to us as individuals is uncomfortable and offensive .we don't even want to shop there anymore which is unfortunate because we love your store and the products you have to offer.

Michaels Stores service

Good evening,
My name is Jasmine Hall, I have been a customer for years; but my first online purchase with the company has been a complete disaster. I will never order from the online store again. I placed my order for the cricut explore air 2 and the cricut easy press on 12/15; when I placed the order the website guaranteed that it would be here before christmas, however with everything all backed up it was then rescheduled to come at on tuesday 12/26, I was disappointed but understood. The tracking information provided through my michaels order conformation let me know my packages were at the bayonne location (Because I did site to store) I had my husband pick up what was supposed to be 2 items. He came home with one and I quickly realized maybe the store just forgot yo give him the other package, because again the online order confirmation notified me that both packages were delivered to the store. I called the bayonne location on the morning of 12/27, I was told that my second package was not there but perhaps would be arriving later on that day. I waited and called in the afternoon as instructed, however the item was never delivered. I could not understand how I have a conformation saying it was delivered and only one package came in. Roxanne from the bayonne store had assisted me at this point, not being able to help me at all. She explained that the site and stores have different systems and there was nothing she could do for me. It would now be my job to contact customer service and figure it out, naturally I was not okay with this at all. I called customer service and the first rep west, did not know how to help me as well; I explained the whole process and he pretty much told me my options were to wait for the item to come whenever it does or for me to cancel the order and re purchase. But west did see that the tracking information generated through the michaels site was incorrect and that there was a different tracking number for the second item that of course I never received and would have known about. I felt as though I did my part as the customer I purchased the item ad waited for it as so, there was a small hiccup with the shipping and I patiently waited for the items to come. However my items never appeared only one, which is unacceptable that no one from the store or customer service could assist me with. Then on top of that I could cancel but then I would still have to wait for the amount to be returned to my card, and have to go out of my way to go purchase my item. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was "disconnected". The last rep I spoke with was tabitha she was kind, very informative but also explained the same options as a solution, she just had a more pleasant way of explaining it to me. This has been very frustrating to me because literally nobody can help me, this experience has been the worst I have still not received my item and i'm very suprised that michaels conducts business like this. I will definitely not recommend ordering online or calling customer service, it seems that the majority of staff of various parts of the company ave no idea how to help the customer and after all if you work in retail that's just what your supposed to do help the customer any way possible. I worked in retail myself and I always exhaust all possible options, I feel that was not done in my case.

Michaels Stores bad service with rude staff

Unfriendly employees occupy the Michaels store in Oklahoma City, 2200 W Memorial Rd.
The staff is not just unfriendly, they are very rude and impolite, and if you need their assistance, I doubt you will not get it.
Moreover, it seems like these people are always ready to fight, to argue with their customers. Whatever happens, they won't stand behind their products and service, all of their customers are always wrong. Worst place on earth

Michaels Stores not delivering as stated on the work order

Good day!

I am a new customer who ordered a frame with Michaels Store at Shawnessy Calgary. I gave them the painting 3weeks ago and stated that the work to be completed today 17th Dec. I made a follow yesterday and was promised by one of the staff that they will complete it as stated in the work order. Is it also a standard practice at Michaels to start the job order in the last minute before the customer claim it and rushing the work? I was promise I can get my order as stated on the work order, now I called them but it looks like they haven't started working on it? This person also dont know how to handle customers inquiry and not professional!

This is my first experience with Michaels and Im not happy with it and ill make sure that all of my friends are aware with how Michaels staff deals with customer before they make any transaction with these persons in the framing department!

Please look into your staff attitude and give them a training if necessary!

Michaels Stores employment.

Honestly, I was very excited and hopeful to begin my employment at Michaels. My first day there quickly squashed those feelings. I was hired into the framing department and given an apron. One of the managers told me id get a name tag and a locker to place my belongings in while I work, the following day. I was then brought back to the framing counter and introduce to a woman named Michelle, who'd be in charge of training me. Once the manager left, I was immediately instructed to put something away. Not having the knowledge of where anything was, I began to look around for its place. She then began to describe to me in the most condescending, baby talking voice, where to place the item. I was honestly shocked that this was our first interaction. That was essentially, the entirety of my "training". I've never had a trainer make fun of me for not knowing how to do something, they were suppose to be training me on. That continued everytime I worked with this woman. In addition to her correcting the guests at the framing counter. I am honestly shocked that this woman has worked here for so long. I was hired into the framing department, everyone aware I was a waitress before this and had no idea what to do. I was more than willing to learn framing, and in the beginning was even excited to learn something new. I needed this job so badly that I decided to stay, despite how horrible everything was going. If she was leaving from a shift when I was coming in, there would be a list of things for me to do(I'm not normally one to complain about working at all). I felt as if she saved things for me to do, that she was physically inept to do, due to her weight. When I worked with her, she was more worried about gossiping and filling her coffee cup endless times, than completing pieces. We only completely 3-5 pieces each time I worked with her. I felt as if I was her monkey because I was young, naive, and new. Fast forward to black friday. At this point, this was my 12th or so day. I'd only been at the framing counter a number of times, for single opening pieces. Needless to say, I needed help with even simple things regarding the computer program used. I was left a list by Michelle, and left to run the framing counter alone, on black friday. At one point, I asked the assistant manager Don for assistance as there was a guest that needed a canvas stretched. He instructed me to call another store and have them walk me through it, right in front of the guest. Later on there was a piece with multiple openings, I again asked for assistance and this time I had stated I was as far as I could get alone. I really was trying. In an irate tone I got "well I'm on register right now. Can you describe to me what it looks like that you need help with?". At this point, I didn't even have the knowledge regarding the computer program, to be able to formulate a sentence that made sense. So I literally replied that I didn't know how to even describe it in correct terms. It was like pulling teeth, but I got someone to come help me. Overall, Michael's made me feel VERY stupid, after not wanting to train me properly. I get that it is the holidays and everything is busy. So don't hire if you cannot properly train. I also understand that this particular department has a fairly high turn over rate. I hope I am helping you understand why that might be. I never received a name tag, a place to put my belongings, simple encouragement as I made endless efforts to learn what was needed of me, or proper training. These are the miniscule things that make people feel intellectual and needed. They matter. These 3 weeks working for the Clearwater Mall Store, have made me feel more out of place, unwanted, bothersome and defeated, more than I've ever felt those things in my 20 years of life.
