Michaels in Canada review: store#3923; management 1

I have worked at Michael's in Canada for about a year now and just a recently quit. Management was just so awful... he threatens to fire his employees quite regularly because of the new rewards program here. We are still getting used to this keep in mind. I updated my availability like he had asked because we had issues with my shifts never being right. I did so and he basically kept booking me the complete opposite of when I was actually available. He gives me not even 20 hours a week while he's still asking to hire for my position even though we are already way too over staffed. I understand for the holidays but this has been going on ever since seasonal ended in 2017. He's disrespectful during rushes at the front tills. If we make the smallest mistake for example, didn't page for another cashier when there was 2 people in line when in reality I was finishing up giving my customer their receipt so really, I would have 1 customer in line cause I had JUST finished. And he gets so angry. Poor, poor management. Never want to work here again.
