Michael Murphy Paving review: driveway paving

In Sept. 2016, I hired Michael Murphy to repave my driveway. aI was concerned from the start when he came without the proper equipt., just a dump truck, a small roller, a couple of ill trained guy's, and a 13 year old kid that did a big part of the work. He couldn't have done a worse job. My driveway is 1600 sq ft. and i have sink holes everywhere, he had used a base coat of asphalt for the top layer to cut cost, so the rocks are so large they keep coming apart leaving holes in the asphalt, this is happening to the entire driveway. Where the asphalt meets the garage, it is up 2'. Michael had confirmed that the sink holes were bad and he would come back to fix them, that was the end of last year. Meanwhile, the asphalt keeps coming loose and collects at the bottom of my driveway, and tracks into my house as well and there is nothing I can do about it. Now in December, it's too cold to fix the sink holes which are getting worse, so i waited until 4/28/2017 and called him, he asked if I could wait 6 to 8 weeks and allow him to make some money first. I called 8 weeks later and he said it was the holiday weekend, next week would be good. I called the following week and he said he drank too much last night, please call next week. I called the following week and he said he had car troubles, and another call a week later I was told he had just got into a car accident. the following week he sent his cousin Patty over to assess my driveway, and to my surprise, Patty said, on his own, the entire driveway has to be redone, the asphalt was laid down wrong. Now over 12 phone calls later not being answered or returned, there is nothing I can do. Michael will do and say anything to earn your business, he even had his wife and kid come to my house as well as sharing a few beers together. There is no warranty regardless of what he promises. The BBB says he is out of business, but that's not true, he had done work for a neighbor of mine about 5 months ago and left the job unfinished. He won't take your calls if he thinks your unsatisfied with the job, and like the BBB says, he won't acknowledge any complaints sent to him by mail, he makes himself invisible after the job, and for a good reason.
