Michael Morris and 60 day film finance promised to deliver film financing in 60 days or less. But now after 6 months, we still have nothing but broken promises and misrepresentations of the truth. We have all the documentation of what his web site originally promised, and not much truth can be found between what we were told and what we were sold and ended up receiving -- a big fat nothing.

We, my partners and I, now broke and angry, are determined to exhaust every means possible to stop this man's shady business practices and hopefully acquire justice against him and the rest of those involved in this scam. After signing up in August, Morris initially told us the financing was moving really fast, and that we were closing by September 20th of 2008. That didn't happen. Morris promised to work with and have a rep sit down with us step by step, which also never happened. Morris ended up giving our file to a third party out of San Francisco, B2B Credit Source, and then somewhere along the line, Morris then stopped doing business with them, as we were told by our producing partner; but didn't even bother to tell us, warn us, or move us to another source. His professionalism was appallingly bad throughout the experience, and it has been one lie after another. We are starting here, and will continue on next to the State as well as Federal levels.

We paid a large sum to acquire a shelf corp with excellent credit lines, but have nothing but a couple hundred dollars in a bank account and one measly credit line with Chevron, for which we had to provide a personal guarantee. It was supposed to be so damn easy. This is a far cry from what we were promised, and we will not rest until Michael Morris' name is mud in every corner of this country. He has fleeced the wrong people.

My husband and I were introduced to Michael Morris by a friend of a friend who connects financiers with film projects. We have paid him a large deposit and signed documents with him and if he doesn't come through with our funding, we will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission.

Michael Morris continues to scam people in 2010 and 2011. He is now known as MARATHON CREDIT GROUP. He has stolen over $80, 000 in the last 2 months alone. His office was a Virtual Office and they haven't heard from him for some time. He continues to lie about everything and also gets very abusive when caught out. I have attached a photo of this scammer. His new email address is marathoncreditgroup@gmail.com

Ditto. We were ripped off as well and had to settle with his high powered attorneys he has paid to protect him. It would have cost more money than he stole to get it back. Hes a real loser and please remember karma gets those kind of people. He will get it when he least expects it by the GOD of the universe. It is LAW.

Very embarrasing and unfortunate to have met this scam artist whom has spent most of our money on attorneys to protect himself. Very bad person.
