Please refer to the copy I made because the offer letter was saved in Adobe. The offer letter was most ambiguous and that company refused to send me any more written agreement including the Contract Employment AGREEMENT.

I wonder how many people have been deceived in that manner?

Dear Mr Hoe:

Thanks for the letter of offer.

I wish to find out the following before I accept this offer:

1) Where is the exact location of my worksite?
2) What is the normal working hours?
3) How many hours do we work on every Saturday?
4) My rest days are Sundays. Will the RM 9000.00 per month be deducted for all the Sundays I do not turn up to work?
5) If for any day, I have to work form 7.30 am until 10.00 pm, how am I compansated?

Please revert.

Regards.

Poh Tiong Ho

MHPT Engineering was not willing to answer my above questions and I would be going in to that comapny with my eyes closed. Would anyone else accept such a job?

Mr Koe Kho Foo did not want to answer my five questions and he also refused to show me a written copy of the Contract Employment Agreement.

For this reason, MHPT Engineering Sdn Bhd does not remain high on my list now.

I think most of you put high expectations or hoping too much. Its a japanese company, what did you all expect from MHPT? Benefits same as government / GLC sector?
I wirking with MHPT from 2012 until present, didn't have any issues like all mentioned above. The offer letter, why didn't you bring to MHPT office to get clear information? Because i do and what you didn't know they have staff hand book which clearly & details regarding rank, working hour, allowances, etc. offer letter is summary of offer from MHPT for your employment only. It will not stated working hour in that letter or such details. I was working & being interviewed few times before interviews with Dato Seri Hoe, and i also know that we can ask those details such as working day or allowances during that interview. Didn't you ask Mr.PohTiongHo? It seem you frustrated because realized its too late to counter back the offer. Unlucky for you sir, this company is extremely acceptable in staff benefits, medical, unseen allowance, and ridiculous yearly increament. My salary now double from original salary within 5 years increament. For those newly want to join MHPT dont affraid to join us.

By the way, please don't put high demand or too much expectation. Working here is platform for learning, which mean you will be pushed to your capabilities limit, some pressure, independent, rising skill. It may hurt for those with mind set to come work just for salary without any intend to improve self skill & knowledge. In summary yes MHPT is not the best company in Malaysia, but its highly acceptable company for living nowadays compared to other company that i been work before (as can se i here over than 5 years). I'm 30 y/o anyway.

P/s : Sorry i means no harm, just giving actual fact here and sharing experience.

I have just quit the mhpt engineering last month Dec 2015. It was my terrible experience working with the company. The company put a lot of fake promises on me. Suppose I should not working on saturday and sunday but when I am at site I was told to work on saturday. What I was surprise I was not entitle for allowance for the saturday. Only entitle for replacement day. Somemore, this replacement day will be burnt if I do not claim within 3 months. This was not told in my offer letter. They said please refer to memo. I am really annoyed with this lier. I cannot work that damn company anymore.

Replying to comment of Camrul

Bro Camrul, based on your comment I assumed u in project team right? I also same as you currently. No overtime only got replacement leave. But be open minded bro, usually a project took around 6-36month. Not always we are required to work on weekend, its have rotation between staff right? And not always you actually working since we are more to Coordination & Supervision only. Have you ever heard "we always asking and demand to company to give what we want, but ask yourself what you willing to do for the sake of company?"

I was offered a translator post myself.
I havent received or heard anything from them at all ever since after agreeing to the terms and conditions.
I wasted my time going for the interview.
BAD BAD Company with no brain staff.
