Meridian Financial Debt collectors picking on a senior veteran

Francisco H M. has been with Wells Fargo for a very long time, and one day out of the blue he recieved a letter from Wells Fargo stating that they had cancelled his credit card. So Francisco asked me to find out why they had done that. I then got a free copy of his credit report and found out that there was a debt of $48, 151. Meridian Financial is the name on the credit report. Right next to Meridian Financials name was the Original creditor: Pacific Monarch Resorts. Then it goes on to state Original Amount $32, 693.I then tell Francisco he has a large debt, and he said that they got the wrong guy. So I called Meridian Financial and told them they made a mistake and I was told to file a Dispute on it. I wrote out the dispute letter using the Federal Trade Commission's sample letter and sent one to Experian and Meridian Financial. Experian then sent me a later stating that they need more information to proceed. So I got in contact with Meridian Financial to get more information, and I was told that they would need Francisco SSN and his phone number. She then told me she had to request copies of the documantations from Pacific Monarch to prove the claim. After I got off the phone I called Pacific Monarchs collections department and they had confirmed that it was not his debt, just by his last four digits of is SSN. I was so pleased i just got off the phone knowing it was not his debt. So the next day I called back to Pacific Monarch to get the documents, and they told me they would mail me a copy so I could prove my case to Experian. After, I called back to Meridian Financial and asked the lady that I had previously talked with and told her I had called Pacific Monarchs to get copys and she told me to fax her copys. I told her I wasn't doing her job for her then she ended the conversion. I will continue writing about this on my website as I go through this process. Meridian Financial charges

They contacted me about a refi, gave me some info about interest rate, payments, etc. They need $1266.00 down to lock in rate and that would cover the closing cost. They were to send me papers by e-mail to sign and return, they needed the credit card info to put on the paper work.
Before I receive the e-mail they already charged my credit card.
Then before I sent the papers back I insisted on a full discloser on all cost for closing, they sent an another e-mail with closing cost for $4200.00
That is when I contacted they and canceled the refi loan. The said they would contact me about a refund, NEVER DID.
The only way I got the money back it contacted the credit card company, and filled a complaint.
