The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

My girlfriend used a Students Union coupon here for our maternity and newborn photo sessions.
This company lost over half of the newborn photos they took while in the editing process.
It took a month for us to finally have enough time waiting, call in, drive back in from Airdrie to get the CD, drive home, review the CD and find that half were missing. When we called back, we had to wait another two weeks for a "make-up" session.
Photos of a 7-day old are not the same as photos of a 7 week old. To me, this session was a wasted face-saving effort that failed. All I think of when I see these photos is "its too bad we dont have the rest of them.."
Would have preferred a refund for the newborn session rather than wasting more time driving, paying for gas and parking. All this to only to have photos taken that would never measure up to those that were lost.
Do not trust this business with your precious photos. A real professional business would have proper backu measures in place. This amateur outfit puts on a nice front, but is far from the quality of service they certainly charge for.

Update: I left this same, honest review on their website only to receive the message "Thank you for your submission, our moderators will review it shortly".
It still isn't posted to their website to this date. Makes you wonder how many times they've "moderated" honest one star feedback.

After reading the reviews I put online, the manager contacted me directly and we worked out a resolution that best suited both of our needs.

(From google review): My family and I have had our ups and downs with our maternity, newborn and baby photos. This company, and this manager, has gone above and beyond to do everything they possibly could to make us feel like the most valuable customers they've ever had. I'm the person that posted on complaintsboard about Memotime. I will admit it. I won't hide it. Because of that, I have worked with the manager to resolve the issues we had with one set of edits. From that point on, I will continue to tell people about the experiences I've had, both good and bad, and how great everything has turned out from his efforts and dedication to his customers. Time heals all wounds, my family and I will make due with the pictures and memories that we have of our daughter. I have sincerely forgiven this company for the mishap. We are human, we make mistakes and we learn from them. I hope that Memotime will give everyone an unedited CD immediately after the photo session, for safe keeping. I will sit on my emotions for a little longer and really think things through before making a decision I can't change, because I wish I could delete that complaint. I don't want to remember it, I know Memotime doesn't either.. My family and I will be going to memo time for all our family photos, for many years to come.
