Memory Lane / Autorenewal of Subscription
Doing my tax preparation, I found a $ 39 charge for a subscription to Memory Lane/Classmates.com. I found the phone # (see in other comments) and called, selecting the billing option. I was on hold for ~ 15 minutes and spoke with a polite rep, who agreed to cancel the auto-renewal, but would not give a refund. I asked who the CEO is and was told Harold Zeitz. When I asked to be connected to him, this was not possible. I then asked to be connected to the rep's supervisor. I was put on hold for a few minutes and when the rep came back, she was then authorized to give me a refund. I asked for a confirmation email while we were still on the phone and received it. You can get your money back -- keep your cool and be persistent!
