Melaleuca don't worth the time

Recently sat through a information meeting about Melaleuca, I decided to try these products, it made sense because I was using already them from somewhere else. Got my new products fast in 3 days and so far have tried at least 10 out of the box that came and like them better than what I was using before. The person who intorduced me was kind and soft spoken. I did not feel any pressure to try anything. If the rest of these products work as well as the ones I have tried I will be a life long customer unless they raise prices to much. Lots more to try and looking forward to it!

Fraud, Scam or whatever people say really doesn’t matter. Or maybe, people don't read the “out clause” or terms and conditions before signing their name on the dotted line. It does not matter. Here are the Facts about Melaleuca, they sold over a BILLION DOLLARS worth of products, and people must like their products, right?

Pyramid systems have been outlawed in the US a long time ago and they don’t sell any products. Melaleuca has over 350 products. We are paid just for referring people to Melaleuca and helping them register and that’s it! No inventory control, no billing, no carrying of products. We are paid on immediate commissions with several tiers of bonuses and handsome residual income, how GREAT is that!

They have paid out over 2.8 Billion in commissions to regular people out there in the past 27 yrs. What is really great about Melaleuca is they genuinely want to HELP. This is Very Rare for a corporate identity. Helping people better their health; getting them out of debt; having a good personal life, so too in preserving our environment, is that a BAD goal to have?

This is more than a business for most of us. You would really have to experience Melaleuca, and when you do, you too would have fallen in love with them just it like the more than 850 thousand families that have joined them. Sorry, but it’s hard to find sad story’s telling lies here. What you will find are people’s experiences in how lives have changed because of Melaleuca.

A Successful Melaleuca breeds successful people and it’s not too late to join us. If you want to succeed and willing to work at it and if you think you are coachable, “We Will Help” because Melaleuca wants us to.

We are just starting; more questions, give me a call, Tony [protected].
If NOT, then, Good Luck on your travels and I hope you find contentment!

I like the fact that the person who enrolled you was soft spoken and you didn't feel pressured... that is what Melaleuca is all about.

Melaleuca awful experience

When my mother in law received her order from melaleuca she found a product she hadn't ordered. She phoned the company and they reversed the charge for the item she hadn't ordered and sent her the one that she wanted free of charge.

She raves about the fiber drink, she loves the laundry soap and the bathroom cleaner. She used to be a hairdresser and she says melaleuca has a very high quality shampoo and styling aid line.

She's seventy five years old and she uses melaleuca pain relief cream because she goes to the gym every day. So far, so good.

Melaleuca not up front with their policies

Make sure you are ready to spend at least $50 every month to be a part of Melaleuca's Preferred customer program and to take advantage of any special promotions, ie: $1 membership fee. The person that set me up explained that to get the discounted prices, all you had to do was buy "something" from Melaleuca each month. I found out after signing up that, that "something" meant spending AT LEAST $50 EVERY month. They promote their products to be something you buy to last three or more times longer than the leading brands, but yet still expect you to go through them fast enough to spend $50 every month consecutively. I'm not saying the product is bad, but just make sure you know what you're getting into because if you decide to cancel, that's where the real fun begins. So far, I have been on the phone with six or seven different sales/customer reps, including managers to get my membership canceled and I was only a member for less than 24 hours! I personally canceled because I don't want to be a part of a company that isn't upfront and forthright with all their policies. I was told VERBALLY that my account had been canceled even though they are still sending me a membership kit and magazine for $1.08. After asking to be transferred to a manager, I was told I would be refunded that $1.08 (I don't care about a $1, it's the principal of the matter). Everything I was told over the phone sounded okay, so I asked them to email what they had explained to me so I had a hard copy of our conversation. They REFUSED to put any of our conversation in writing, even via email. That throws up more red flags. They shouldn't be concerned about putting what they say in writing if what they're saying is true. Also, if a company is confident in their product, they shouldn't make it so hard to cancel because they won't have to worry about that many members canceling in the first place. So, time will tell if what they said to me is what will really transpire (which is NO more shipments and NO fees taken out of my account). To be fair to them, I will follow up this complaint with something positive if anything positive comes out of this.

Savemoor, I have personally found that Melaleuca's prices ARE cheaper than the grocery store brands... The Gold Bar is $3.95 but it lasts 13 times longer than a 99 cent bar of Dial. So I can spend $12, 92 on 13 bars of Dial or $3.95 with Melaleuca. I can spend around $25 on 6 bottles of Lime Away or I can spend $5.69 on a Tub and Tile Concentrate.

Heres a page that may help a bit...

http://www.melaleuca.com/ProductStore/Content.aspx?Page=Compare

There may be a stray product that would not come in cheaper but overall for the most part, even on price alone, Melaleuca is the clear champion...and as you said, when it comes to overall VALUE, no one touches Melaleuca.

I feel both of you guys had a great argument. I'm a customer of Melaleuca and I agree the prices are slightly higher than the national average but I do feel the comparison should be towards other natural products like from Whole Food Market, co-ops, etc instead of the local grocery store. More than likely when people are shopping at traditional grocery stores they are more in survival mode than health. So really there is no comparison. People shopping at traditional stores could care less if the product is naturally derived, environmentally-friendly, packaged in recyclable materials it doesn't make sense for their current way of life. So when it comes to prices the traditional store will win. I use coupons myself to save and on many occassionas I end up leaving with money being paid to me. But Melaleuca wins at paying you your savings on the back-end, and profit-sharing from other customers you have referred, so over time a traditional store can't compete. Plus, traditional stores do not paid you for referring others to shop with them! So it boils down to people who are looking at prices will be satisfied at traditional stores, but people who looking to get the best bang for their buck will certainly consider shopping with Melaleuca!

If you took that tone from the start I wouldn't have had to reply so thank you for toning it back to a more civil approach. If you believe just because a company prints literature that it must be skewed or bias then that is your issue. Everything Melaleuca claims can be independently verified pretty easily.

We'll see if I get the last word or not...

Well, Truth Teller, you are pretty prolific on this thread as well.
Why do I care? I care not at all about this company. I came across this thread while searching for something else and saw the posting all in caps which caught my attention. I read your post following which began with an attack on someone else's online protocol, and then you starting making claims of fact based on what you've read in a company's promotional material and/or website, which are most assuredly biased in their favor. I provided an alternative view based not on emotion or loyalty to any company. It is extremely unlikely that you are going to admit that your bias in favor of the company MAY skew your logic or blind you to the inconsistencies.
The real truth is that I doubt anyone is reading this execpt you and me. You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. Enjoy your products in great health. Cash the checks with a big smile and spend the money on something you truly love. Grow your downline into a huge tree that will support your family well.
You may now have the last word because I have grown tired of your failure debate with reason instead of the company's talking points. And just to be perfectly clear, I have no affiliation to this company or any competitor. If someone chooses to buy from this company, I hope they are pleased with their purchases.

You started out criticizing me for my reply to someone else so lets be very clear how our conversation started. You did not just offer an opinion about inconsistency, you instead came after me accusing me of being unfair.

This whole site is called complaints board so the fact you are here offering the idea of inconsistency is in fact a complaint in and of itself. You go so far out of your way to distance yourself from any stock in others perception of Melaleuca yet here you are, some random person who says they dont care at all yet you keep the thread going offering the accusation again and again that your opinion of inconsistency is somehow magically hard fact.

If you dont care at all then why even be here reading in the first place? That makes no sense. Clearly you do care or you wouldnt keep replying. The question becomes WHY do you care if you truly have no interest? Of course you will probably try to dismiss that point entirely but even if your intentions were originally noble, the vast majority of posts dissing Melaleuca are bogus and made by people who are either knowingly lying or who are mad at some person who did not do a good job of sharing it with them in the first place so they come here to complain about Melaleuca instead of starting a thread about the person who did a lousy job of presenting it to them.

Point is that your accusation of inconsistency is simply a random opinion that adds to the overall dishonesty of others who knowingly or unknowingly misrepresent Melaleuca and for someone who claims to have no interest in any of it, you sure do post a lot here.

- Numbers do lie if you are selective in what data you are using to make a point. Case in point - look at the bogus unemployment numbers that are widely publicized. They do not take into account all of those people who's benefits have run out, but they are still unemployed. Any first semester statistics student can make the numbers say whatever they want them to say. I never said that the company was dishonest. Please go back and carefully re-read. I pointed out inconsistencies and they still exist whether you want to acknowledge them or not.
- Your point that if I don't agree with you on the value of these products that I am not careful in my shopping and spending habits is ridiculous. That if I were a careful shopper, I "would come to the same conclusion that hundreds of thousands of other careful shoppers have come to..." According to your logic, if an individual does not agree with a group they are wrong? That's laughable.
- You are also assuming that everyone must value the same attributes of a product. While I have not at anytime in this discussion questioned the quality of these products (please go back and recheck that as well) I would not insist that everyone must agree with my value assessments as you apparently do. My choices are mine and your choices are yours. That's the great thing about freedom of choice, we each get to make our own, as you pointed out.
I have no interest in whether Melaleuka is a huge success or a huge failure. I have no interest in whether you are funding your retirement and a vacation home with your residual income or are just buying products for your family at full price. Makes absolutely no difference to me. My original point was, and still is, the inconsistency of the number and your selective logic.

My logic is not flawed just because you want it to be or claim it to be. math is math and numbers dont lie. You can try to spin the source of the numbers as you have tried to do here, but at the end of the day Melaleuca is not factually dishonest just because you paint them to be such. The truth is always good enough and Melaleuca has over half a million customers each month who disagree with you and your false accusations.

You cant be that careful of a shopper because if you were you would come to the same conclusion that hundreds of thousands of other careful shoppers have already come to.. that being that truly converting your home to Melaleuca products does indeed provide much more overall value than any other store at any price. You can't compare Melaleuca products to other store brand products because the entire Melaleuca product line is of superior quality so before price is even factored in, quality must be considered. After all, who cares if a coupon gives it to you for free if it poisons you, destroys your clothes or lets you breath toxins in. What kind of a wonderful deal is that? Weeee, you saved 24 cents and shaved a few days off your life in the process... congratulations!

It always brings a smile to my face to watch how incredibly hard people will try to get in their digs and try to discredit Melaleuca. Then, when called out on it, they turn their attack on me personally just as you have done here... it's an old trick and one that more and more real careful shoppers are getting wise to.

As I have said from day one here... dont let the nay sayers discourage you and trick you. Get some products for yourself and YOU be the judge. Isn't it telling that the haters will never tell you to do that? They always want you to trust them or believe them while those of us who are pro Melaleuca are the ones saying you should make up your own mind. This is because they know if you do objectively try the products, you will be one of the over half million every month enhancing your life and the life of your family with the best products in the world.

Dont let anyone take away your choice! YOU should be the one to decide if Melaleuca is for you or not... no one else, including me! Again, don't enroll because I said to... try it for yourself and YOU be the judge!

Please don't take a point about one statement and compare it to another. The cost of the Melaleuka products vs. national brands purchased at a retail store on sale and/or with a coupon has nothing to do with how much Melaleuka has paid out in residuals. The point is that the comparison price they give on their website is very likely not what the average consumer actually pays for the item if they are careful shoppers. For instance, the Melaleuka website compares the CounterAct Pain product to Tylenol saying the buyer would save $2.40. It gives the disclaimer "Melaleuca Preferred Customer price vs. competitor retail price at Walgreens.com as of Jan. 6, 2010" My contention was that I would not purchase the Tylenol at full price and would likely save additionally by using a coupon. The website then uses a price obtained in Portland, OR for the Powerbar vs. Access Performance Bars comparison. Why not be consistent?
I did not question the quality of the products and I have listened to a presentation from an Exec. Director. I am not affiliated with any direct marketing company and have no reason pretend to be a disgruntled customer. I simply could not let your flawed logic go unchallenged.

So you want to give Marvin a pass and let him have a few dollars here and there yet you want to accuse Melaleuca of cherry picking. Then you belittle the over 2.7 BILLION in cash Melaleuca has paid out to their customers residually and somehow compare that to clipping some coupons?

I believe that the average surfer out there is smart enough to see thru the haze of dishonesty people dump on this board. If you are already a Melaleuca customer, you know there is nothing better at any price and if you are not, see that on boards like this people lie and their goal is not to honestly share an unbiased view but instead their goal is to make you believe they are unbiased when in fact many Amway and MonaVie people have confessed to us privately that they frequent these boards and pretend to be disgruntled customers with problems just to slime Melaleuca's good name.

Do yourself the favor or going to the source, getting a complete 45 minute presentation from someone who is at least a Director or above with the company and YOU decide for YOURSELF! Don't let these naysayers get their jollies at your expense... you look at it for yourself and YOU be the judge. Then, once you see how your life can be enhanced by these incredible products, you will be glad you didnt fall for the propaganda merchants that post anti-Melaleuca stuff here.

Truth Teller -

Your reply to Marvin regarding cost does not take into account shipping fees, which would be another $6-$7 depending on whether his state charges sales tax on the shipping. So cut the guy some slack for rounding up a couple of dollars.
Secondly, the competitor's retail cost comparison does not take into account store sales and/or coupons. I, for one, do not pay full retail for non-perishable items. I'm smart enough to plan ahead and buy on sale. Also, I find it interesting that although the website cites the store and city for the comparison price, they are not consistent. This leads me to believe that perhaps they have "cherry picked" higher prices for better comparison. Math does lie if the data used is selectively chosen.
Finally, 200, 000 people getting a check every month does not mean they are making money. Simply getting a check for an undisclosed amount based on having to make a minimum purchase is misleading. Perhaps Marvin was referring to actually making a PROFIT, not just receiving a check.

Melaleuca scam or not?

Some say that this company is a scam and very few say it isn't.

It is a company based on using products that are better for you all around. The thing is that you have to invest into it before you can make money. You do have to give them an account number and purchase their products. They want you to sell their products to people you know and when you do that you are compensated. If you aren't good at selling a product, this isn't for you.

I've read on here about people saying they took money from their accounts with out permission. What it is is that they have an automatic back up withdrawal "In case you forget to order".
It's a company where you have to put your money into it in order to make money.

Show me any other business that you can start for $29? It would cost you more then that to even take out a costoc member ship, and they dont send you a paycheck everymonth... it would cost about 1/2 a mil to start a coffee shop or mcdonalds or what have you.. but with Melaleuca you can start a business for just $29... and it is refundable if you are unhappy... you have to spend money to make money... and YOU ARE ALREADY BUYING THESE PRODUCTS ELSEWHERE..
Melaleuca is about the farthest thiing from a pyramid scheme that there is... first of all pyramids are illigal schemes that very often involve no product at all.. second of all it is a great company that has won awards from the BBB and others. I have been a happy customer with Melaleuca for three years, We ALWAYS show everyone a full presentation and give them all the information before they sign up. AND YES YOU CAN ACCESS THE WEBSITE AS A GUEST...
Also, you have to fill out and sign three different forms during the enrollment process so you would have known exactly what you were signing up for and it is all verified to make sure you understand. Not only that but we do not sell any products, we use them in our homes because they are safer for our homes and families and the environment and they are awesome and much better quality and we save money! Plus its a great way to build a residul income without ANY SELLING...But is is real work.. you cant join and do nothing and expect a pay check .. this isnt a get rich quick.. its a work hard and earn your pay...and its worth it... I have received a paycheck every month since I became a customer!
Also you are already shopping somewhere each month... are you not already buying shampoo and cleaners and vitamins somewhere? why not buy ones that are non toxic and that actually work...?
They do not take money from anyones account each month.. they take payment that you authorize for the products that you personally order.. you dont ever have to stock inventory ...AND you can quit at any time, you have no contract and the customer service is great, so if its not for you send in a letter and request to cancel.. that's it... honeslty people need to be educated about things and not spout off about things they dont understand...
I have also never had an issue with customre service.. everything is a 100% money back guarentee!

Hi Nancy,

Its a mutual agreement that you have at Melaleuca. Words like "forced" are what make people who know better suspect of your claims. You agree to the dozens of benefits including the lower prices, free stuff from loyalty shopping dollars, etc etc.. but Melaleuca wasn't "forced" to give you those benefits anymore than they "forced" you to buy something.

The standing policy for credits is to place the credit on the customer's account, not on their method of payment because a refund to the method of payment takes several days but to your account with them it is instant. All you have to do is request that it be put back on your method of payment and it will be. Id be happy to do a three way call with you directly into the company and help you get every penny that you are entitled to. :D

If you were "pressured or coerced" into anything, that is right back on the people who did the pressuring and coercing, Melaleuca in good faith believes that you know what you are doing and that you truly want to be a customer and so they simply honor what you decide.

Like almost every complaint about Melaleuca on the entire internet, it comes back to the person who introduced you, not to Melaleuca themselves. As I have said on these boards MANY times now... who you enroll with is critical. If you come in with someone who knows what they are doing and can answer your questions, you will do wonderfully. I'm sorry you didn't get a refund that you felt you should get. As I said, Id be happy to personally call them with you and help you get every penny that you would be entitled to if you wish.

I had a bad experience with Melaleuca. The products are good, but I don't like to be forced to pay monthly for things I don't need. I sent a letter cancelling my "preferred" customer status. I had a credit, and my credit never was credited back to my credit card, but told that every month after that they will DEDUCT 10$ unless I buy something. That I call lousy service. I'm not an MLM - just an average customer who will now not be coerced or pressured by my friends to sign a CONTRACT to purchase something every month. Melaleuca might be OK for some people not for me and I am unhappy with the fact that they couldn't just refund my money when I had a credit.

Good grief... people who claim all these negative aspects about Melaleuca's customer service have never had an experience with them. The call centers are all in the US, and the agents are all very nice and helpful. Why don't you try calling if you don't believe me? [protected] (ask about the cancelation policy). I never knew how many MLMer's get on these complaint forums to air their dirty laundry. I also find it comical that even in some of these contrived attacks on the way the company is run they say, "The products are nice."

The company is a Loyalty based shopping company. You don't need the point minimum if you want to buy direct, but you don't save the 30-40% which makes it a great value. People really shouldn't buy quality products if they just want cheep, you should buy them if you want a better quality and lower price then the competition; and, Melaleuca delivers on quality for the price. Nobody can argue that there are super cheap products at Wal-Mart, but can anybody rave about the quality? Many products, particularly cleaning products, have harsh and dangerous chemicals and Melaleuca does not. END OF STORY.

Yes, I would have to agree that the person complaining is a MLM person or a Melaleuca hater...no doubt about it. Because if he or she wasn't then he/she would have GOOD things to say about Melaleuca and not bad things. As far as the minimum monthly point requirement goes, you must not brush your teeth, wash your hair, take a bath, clean your house and especially wash your clothes because if you did, then you would realize that you run out on those items and have to go buy them on a regular basis anyway and why not buy them from a company that gives you a "rebate" sort of speak instead from someone else that doesn't give you anything back! Looks like you lack common sense. So SO sad.

Good grief. I have been shopping at Melaleuca for me and one to two kids for nearly 8 years. I have a shopping cart FULL of things i absolutely NEED to run my household at Melaleuca.com and go SEVERAL times over the minimum required by replacing what I'm out of or almost out of. Your qualms are just ridiculous. The average customer of Melaleuca company wide does nearly 50 product points worth of shopping per month! There are dozens of ignorant accusations in your posts and I just have to laugh at them.
Anyway, I love the company, love the products, love the compensation for sharing it with others. I'm sorry you just don't get it.

No, I refuse to answer a Melaleuca related question for you because I will not be baited. I do not have to prove the grass is green, I dont have to prove the sky is blue and I dont have to prove anything that is very common knowledge to anyone who cares to do even basic research. You said you were a customer yet you dont know how much a back up orde ris... that shows me and any reasonable person you were most likely never a customer and instead are an MLM junkie and Melaleuca hater.

The only claim I will back up is that you have proven to everyone why you are really here and it is certainly to not give an honest complaint about anything. Your true agenda is widely exposed and for that I am grateful!

Well since people say they have been spending 60-80 bucks on here to make the required 35 points- I would love to see you prove your statement. Google it- I have not found anyone saying they spent 50 bucks and satisfied the 35 point requirement..

I thought you didn't have "customers" - I thought you only had "referrals"- Don't customers *BUY* things? I thought you didn't sell things. Yes- I know in reality you refer them to the website to buy thigns and make money off their purchase - but still...

So where are the examples of product combinations you can get for 50.49 (or less!) and still use the 35 points required by Melaleuca membership?

I would love to see what you come up with! You would also be providing great knowledge about the values your company offers.

As I read through the endless complaints, I laugh and realize that these people are out to make themselves feel more important by complaining, or judging the entire company on their isolated unprofessional encounters.

I have been a Melaleuca.com customer for over a year now, and my referral Jill told me everything I needed to know, about making 35 points each month, 30 Day money back guarantee and all the trimmings. Most people basically spend 65.00 each month buying from Rite Aid and other companies that don't give you any rewards for your referrals, and turn your home into an enviorn"mental" hazard... unlike Melaleuca.com. So I ask myself, WHAT THE SUFFERING SUCKOTASH IS THE PROBLEM? The problem is people just want to feel like there is a problem. I have not had any problems exchanging, canceling my account; which I did once because i could not afford it, or even getting a customized backup order. I don't get any of these complaints at all.

I have not placed one referral yet because right now i am just enjoying my products, like my favorite soaps in the whole world, or my household cleaners. If you look their web-site up you will see videos on people that really made over millions of dollars working hard and referring people THE RIGHT WAY. If you ask me, if there where more companies like these we wouldn't be in this financial and enviorn"mental" crisis we are in now. SO Before you believe what these complainers have to say...just see the people that made it for yourself: hard working, non-### Americans on Melaleuca.com. Besides you don't have to take my word for it, look up the company on FORBES MAGAZINE as the one of the top corporations in the World today. YOU need to get all the information up front and sign up the right way with a great referral that is helpful and informative. Peace, Love and somebody stop this oil spill!

I have been with Melauleuca for 7 months now. A dear friend of ours introduced us to Melaleuca because we have a son who has fought lung problems since his first breath. We have been thru so many hospitals stays with him, and had him on soooo many different prescriptions to try to improve his breathing, and quality of life.

We would go to clean our house (especially the bathroom), and would have to send him to grandma and grandpa's so that we wouldnt trigger and asthma attack.

Since we started using the products, my son has had the sniffles once. Normally that would have ended up in pneumonia, BUT thru the use of two products we were able to clear it up in 3 days.

Try the products for yourself. They have a 60 day money back guarantee on all of their products, with a 90 day money back guarantee on the Vitality line. If for some reason you are not satisfied they will even return your membership fee to you.

Tell me please were the risk is in this. It has changed my life and the lives of many of the people i love and care about.

If you have not tried it or met with someone in your area to see a full presentation, then please keep your negativity to yourself. You never know how many people could have been helped with many different conditions, but thanks to your negativity are now to scared to look any further into it.

I love the products and the company is amazing!25 years in business and still going strong. Blue Torch Award, Inc 500 company, all done here in the USA!

I just talked to Melaleuca's product information line and they said there is NO PROVEN CARCINOGENS in ANY Melaleuca products. I asked specifically about what you named and those products did have parabens in them for a short time back in 2008 but no longer and nothing that will ever be introduced from then on out will ever have parabens in it.

It should also be noted that there is no direct evidence of even a causal link between parabens and cancer.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraben

"there is no evidence parabens cause cancer"
http://www.health-report.co.uk/parabens.htm

and dozens of other sites that seem to support the same conclusion.

Please do not attempt to scare others by claiming to tie cancer with Melaleuca. The fact is that if you get on the Vitality Pack and Cell Wise supplements, you will most likely protect yourself from ever getting cancer in the first place.

Fear will paralyze you... but knowledge is power! Embrace knowledge, reject fear!

I was once a customer myself about a year or so understood how the business worked, was very happy with the way they ran the company but not so much as the products. They worked great but the whole reason I started using melaleuca was I wanted to go green and a year later a found out they are not green at all. True the packaging is recycleable but the products themselves are full of chemicals. Bought the kids hair wash and body wash thinking it was safe until I decided to actually read what is in it. It is full of parabens and sls to name a few which are proven carcinogens( meaning can cause cancer) I cancelled my membership right then and dumped all my products. Today I use a company called onlygreen which is completely natural and organic and costs a lot less and you don't have to spend a certain amount a month. Don't be fooled by this company you are putting your families at risk by using these products.

Agreed - my wife and I have been happy customers for 2 years. We knew after our first shopping experience that we had hit the jackpot (in terms of shopping, quality, price, etc). Our budget hasn't really changed and we get products for every room in the house from a brand and company we TRUST.

My sense is that most people fail at stuff in life and many of those failures enjoy complaining about their failure. For us, failing at Melaleuca (the business side) doesn't matter to me. We were buying toothpaste and laundry soap from someone anyway. What's the big deal?

Melaleuca stopped my periodontal problems cold

I had pockets that were 6's and 8's in all four quadrants of my mouth.

I was ready for surgery on my gums.

I was intoroduced to Melaleuca vitamins and dental products and never had to do the surgery.

I didn't regain any of the bone loss that had occured, but it stopped the problem cold.

I have been a customer of Melaleuca for 14 years and th company is amazing. There products work as well or better than those you buy in the grocery store and we actually save money and are able to get them deliveered, not to mention they are safe to use and breathe.

Kurt,
If you ever get this... The reason the products are so good is they contain dentist recommended xylitol which helps the natural bacteria in your mouth. Also tea tree oil that is a scientifically proven antiseptic and antifungal. We have found a great value and good health benefits. However, there are many good products from many good companies that might help you, your dental professional could help you with that study. Be aware, Doctors of Dentistry need to eat and pay their bills, so he/she has an interest in your $16, 000. If you are still looking at a natural good for all of your health needs I suggest you check out www.melaleuca.com/ps and read product labels. If there is any way I can assist you in understanding and you can't get ahold of John above, then feel free to email me...gailknrr@gmail.com Everyone -have a nice day!

I am facing dental issues, $16, 000 worth, and bacteria around the teeth is causing much of the issues, leading to at least 2 possible root canals.

Can you tell me if, and how, the Melaleuca products MIGHT help me?

And, please, take off the recruiter hat and be honest. This is my health I'm talking about here, not my wealth - and hopefully not yours either.

Thanks,

Melaleuca didn't honor a credit

A friend called and asked if I would be interested in ordering from her company. To help out a friend, I said yes. The overpriced order came and I thought that was the end of that. A month later a package from Melaleuca came to my house. I hadn't ordered it so I sent it back. Two months, two packages and two returns later I called my friend and asked to have them stopped. She said yes but not before the company, without my knowledge or permission, took money from my account. Melaleuca wouldn't return my money and would only give me a store credit. When I went to use the credit, they told me that it had expired. They are a company of thieves.

Credits on your Melaleuca account never expire so I have a hard time believing that part of your story.

This sad situation has nothing to do with Melaleuca and has EVERYTHING to do with the dishonest person who signed you up. Signing up to be a committed customer every month IS what you sign up to do. You agree to stop shopping at Wal Mart (or wherever) and redirect that same money to Melaleuca every month. This should have been clearly explained to you and obviously it wasn't.

When it is explained properly and you redirect the same money from the grocery stores and instead get better, safer products from Melaleuca, it really is a lot of fun and very enjoyable.

I'm sorry some dishonest person mislead you but once you were in a contract with Melaleuca, they were legally bound to deliver the products to you so they had to send them and keep sending them until you canceled your account via fax or mail and the agreement you entered into clearly says in bold print that cancellations have to be received by the 25th of the month. You agreed to this when signing up.

They do let you cancel at any time for any reason but it has to be done in writing as it is a legal agreement obligating them to provide products and obligating you to pay for them.

If you have any other questions, email me at markloribusiness@gmail.com

that would of been you back order that kept coming to house every month and when you signed up you sign the contract authorizing them to send (and charge you) a monthly back up order if ou did not place one by the end of the month...your friend should of explained that all to you before you signed up

Melaleuca taken money from my account without my knowing

When I first started with Melaleuca, I asked the lady who was signing my up if Melaleuca will take any money out letting me know about it and she told me no.She told me that before they take any money they will notify me before they do.Even with the back up packadge.Well Melaleuca took out around $63 without my knowing.I went to my bank on May the 5 to put $10 in and found out I was still in the negative by $58.I found out that Melaleuca withdrew the money on my back-up packedge because"I haven't ordered anything from their company".When I called the company, a young girl on there decided to explain what the back-up was for. When I told her that the company was to let me know, she oh well. She told me that I have to pay to send the packedge back and when they recieve it, they'll e-mail me with a number to call. But she didn't know if when I'll recieve my money(minus the sales tax).I don't have the money to send it back.

Traci,

E-mail me your phone number and I will personally 3 way you into the company and we will find out exactly how you enrolled and what exactly you need to do to cancel your account.

Melaleuca doesn't want any customers that don't truly want to be Melaleuca customers. Thats why situations like yours don't make any sense to a normal Melaleuca customer because we truly want to get their products into our home and that's why we signed up in the first place.

It seems like every online complaint (including yours) traces back to the person who introduced you to the company trying to just "sign you up" instead of truly introducing you to the product line and helping you become a willful customer.

Again, I will be happy to help you contact the company and walk with you step by step in figuring out where your account is currently and how to cancel it completely. With that you now have a pathway of assistance to your situation... if you brush my offer off and just continue to post negatives, I think that will speak for itself to everyone reading here.

I been promoting melaleuca products with friends and relative, I did not hear any complain about melaleuca is taking money from your wallet without notice. Why, because Melaleuca its given a contract to everi one who signed it.
If you did not read the contract is your problem.
Melaleuca policy is; If you dont place an order before the end of the month, Melaleuca will send you the product you pre-order when the contract was signed, and charge to your account.
If you don want to receive any back up order, need to cancel your contract before the 25th of each month, by sending a cancelation notice by fax, your name, address and signature.
IS THIS RULE HARD TO FOLLOW?
I THINK A 9 YEARS OLD CHILD CAN FOLLOW EZ

Alli,

There is no formaldehyde in ANY Melaleuca product children's or otherwise. I would encourage you to check your facts. Now, on the shelves at Wal Mart you will find dozens of products with not only that but loads of other hazzardous and harmful things... but not in anything from Melaleuca.

Mark

The same thing just happened to me! I have repeatedly told them not to charge my card, or send me the packeges because their products are really bad and cost way to much money! Anyone who thinks that this is a great company they are mistaken, I was told by someone else that their products are not Earth friendly, they are using a lot of bad chemicals that promote tumors and femaldahyde in the childrens products! I will make sure I recieve my money back or I will take the matter to higher persons in the company!

My husband and I had checked into Malalueca via an ad we found. We went through and online orientation and things sounded pretty good. My husband asked if this was going to cost us anything and we were told NO. The representative asked for our checking account info so that our "income" could be direct deposited into our account and at the end of the little...

Melaleuca charges and cancellations

I was with Melaleuca for a couple of months and realized this wasn't for me. I sent them a notoarized cancellation letter and then canceled my credit card because I was warned that Melaleuca would continue to keep you stuck with them by shipping and charging you stuff you didn't order. WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW! ITS TRUE!

After notarized hand written cancelation letter and canceled credit card I get confirmation a few days later saying they have recieved cancellation. Then a few days after that I get a email saying products (back up order) have been shipped. WHY DID THEY DO THAT? THERES NO WAY TO CHARGE ME!

The stuff arrived and then came the phone calls crying for there $72 bucks. I told them send me the money and I would ship it back because I DIDN'T ORDER THIS! She said I had to make cancellation by the 25th of the month thats why a reorder was sent, and the policy was that I ship it back at my expense and she would credit my account. I said to her why did you mail this to me when the card had been cancelled, ..she had no response. Well then fine whatever to get you people off of me, so I sent them there stuff back via priority mail with signature confirmatin at my expense.

And you know what? These extortionist are still call wanting another $7 bucks and some odd cents to officially close the acount. PEOPLE STAY THE HECK AWAY!

I have all emails and confirmations to verify everyting I went through. Remember if you have to join a club or membership to get something it isn't worth it. The time it took for you to sign up witll take you 20 times longer to get the heck out of it.

Hi Fidel Dait, it's so easy to cancel just call your Enroller or Melaleuca:-) I am a Preferred Customer since Dec. 2010 and have been shopping for free:-) I am an ICU nurse and saw the value of using Melaleuca's nature-based, eco-friendly products:-) My 3 kids' Eczema were healed just with the Renew Lotion. My son's Asthma and severe nasal allergy were gone after switching to their Ecosense cleaning products:-) My husband is off his cholesterol medicine (Welchol) after 3 months' use of Melaleuca's Vitality 6 and Fiberwise. Nothing will convince me to go back to local store brands usually with cheap, harsh ingredients:-) And by the way, the help for the ” little guy” is real...my husband won't get hired as Respiratory Therapist since 2010...the economy is really bad...with Melaleuca, just educating others to be smart shoppers we now have extra $1000 to $1400 a month!:-) We help others do the same :-) Thank you for at least trying Melaleuca:-)
Best,
Success2010

So to summarize your opinions... you can't tell the difference between the taste of soap and the taste of mouthwash, you think the company is a pyramid scheme when it clearly is not, you believe people sell memberships when in fact no one does, you don't understand why the company doesn't sell in retail stores yet you claim to have sat thru a presentation where this was clearly explained to you, you think the laundry detergent is $25 when in fact it is $15.99 for almost 100 loads, and you agree with rrobinett's claims even though they have all been proven factually incorrect, you claim the products only last a couple months yet you have products "cluttering" your house some three years later now, and even though every one of the thousands of retail stores in Florida all charge tax, somehow Melaleuca is a scam because they charge that same tax, even though the law requires them to do so.

Yeah... I think that about covers it.

I just stumbled upon this website in researching another scam, saw the tag-line Melalueca and had to read on...I got conned into becoming a "member"/sales rep for the company, and I can backup every claim rrobinett has made... funny enough, my husband even looked at the materials and compared it with Amway, too.

I don't know where rrobinett lives, but I live in Florida, our sales tax is 6%, but my orders were never less than $60/month and usually closer to $75. I can't really complain about the majority of the products, in fact some of them I really loved and would continue to use if I could just buy only those products. Most of them worked well - sometimes even better than store-brand - and smelled really nice, but they did not last as long as Mark has claimed. Some of the items did last longer, but just long enough so that you don't need it the next month and have to buy something else in order to meet your points obligation, otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of stuff you won't use. Not all of their products were that great, either...the toothpaste and mouthwash tasted like soap, for example...I haven't purchased Melaleuca products in over 3 yrs. and I still have stuff cluttering my pantry & linen closet.

In my opinion, if their products are so great, why don't they sell them in a competitive marketplace? Why can't I order them directly from the website at the competitive price, not an over-inflated $25 for laundry detergent?
The answer is simple, the business model is built on a pyramid with one guy at the top and a bunch of workers at the bottom trying to move up by enrolling more people. The profit comes from the membership fees, not the products. The person doing the demonstration or recruiting her friends & neighbors to join are really selling memberships, not products and THAT's where the deception comes in. But then again, who would go to a party for a friend if she told you she was selling a membership to make some guy making really inexpensive products really rich? Not me! (BTW, we have so many Melaleuca trees here in Fla that they just plow them down & grind them up...they're a junk tree, like a weed!)

I will not be directly answering your Melaleuca related questions because you are not asking me to get the information, you are asking to set up attacks and slime myself and the company thru careful and crafty manipulation based questions as you have proven again and again.

I plainly offered to find a person in your area to answer all of your questions and you of course turned that down because your goal is not to better understand, your goal is to carefully spread lies posing as an innocent bystander.

You have been caught and exposed so as I said earlier, you may be a very nice person outside of this web site but in these Melaleuca threads you have proven to everyone your information about Melaleuca is always partial, slanted and at times out and out lies.

Anyone that gives you any credibility at all, even when you quote from Melaleuca documentation is foolish because you never share the entire picture, its always twisted.

Update: this just in- Mark- maybe you aren't the best evangelist for the Melalueca products if you are telling people that something lasts 13 x longer than another product they use in their home when the website from Melalueca never even makes that claim.

This is from their website:
Melaleuca Bath Bars: Three Times the Luxury
Most grocery-store soaps contain air bubbles that cost you money when they disappear down the drain. Not Melaleuca Bath Bars. They are French-milled to eliminate air bubbles so they last longer—in fact, three times longer.

Maybe they should look at you presenting information to potential Customers ? Isn't there talking points on choosing the people you refer Melalueca to wisely? It seems like you can't even gets your facts straight.

Its also not the best comparison to make- saying that a contract with Melalueca is like signing a car loan either.

I answered an add for a job off my space. They enrolled me into a motivated moms where you sell melaleuca. Without explaining everything they charged my credit cards for products that I didn't order. I am a single mom and was searching for a job and all I got was ripped off. I have tried to be nice and speak with the customer service department to return the items. There customer service has been horriable I have been pushed off on so many people and transferred. Everyone kept giving me different answers. Do not sign with this company.

I have been a happy customer with Melaleuca for three years and I work with the Motivated Moms team. We ALWAYS show everyone a full presentation and give them all the information before they sign up. Plus its a great way to build a residul income without ANY SELLING...But is is real work.. you cant join and do nothing adn expect a pay check .. this isnt a get rich quick.. its a work hard and earn your pay...and its worth it...
I have also never had an issue with customre service.. everything is a 100% money bakc gaurentee!

I guess people only hear what they want to hear. First of all, I am not aware that Melaleuca will just sign you up with a phone call. They will refer you to a Marketing Exec. who will give you all the information there is to know about the company and how it works. You signed up for a dollar and gave them your credit card number? Everyone I know pays the dollar in cash and why would you give your personal information if you didn't know they were going to bill you for your monthly order. Read the contract, read the information in the kit. It's all there, you just have to read it. No fine print either.

Melaleuca has fantastic customer service, my friend used to work for them in the call center. Anytime in the first 4 months you can cancel for a complete refund, so I find it hard to believe that they were that rude. They have never been anything but nice to me and my associates even when items needed to be returned.

Sorry for your bad experience but that was not melaleuca you were scammed by someone else. Melaleuca has a great customer service line. I am also confused by your post because you dont say anything really why your so upset. What doid you do call up some bogus person and give them your info. Even over the phone they have to comfirm an order and if you enroll online they dont charge you till you place your first order which again is confirmed through email.

Melaleuca does not use Traditional Marketing Methods. Instead, you are the marketing method, thereby getting the marketing money instead of some celebrity endorser. What you need to do is alert Melaleuca of the fraudulent method of which someone used their company to get people to sign up. They have strict rules in place.

I have never been "pushed off" by anyone in Customer Service.

By the way... all the ads on MySpace & Facebook are fraudulent & only created to get your credit card info. To me, that is quite obvious in reading their ads.

it's obvious that you didn't read what you were getting yourself into: THERE IS NO SELLING OF PRODUCTS IN MELALEUCA! Just like any other job, you ask questions about the company, you check their background (I went to better business bureau) and what your role is to be. It is obvious to know that you didn't, I've been a loyal customer for the past 7 months and I have decided to REFER people, other loyal customers who are looking for products that are free of toxics and that are natural, I have three children and their health is the most important thing for my husband and I. In 7 months I have made $6850.78 with them and I am expecting a check for the month of November for more than $1500.00 because I've been referring my family, friends and friend's friends! I have a full time job and I only do this partime, I refer customers two hours a night and thank God I found MELALEUCA, THE WELLNESS COMPANY! Why don't you ask someone who really knows about how the company works. [protected] ask for Jesie

Recently I had made a report on Unsafe Products in reagrds to Melaleuca ingrediants. At that time I was not aware of the fact that I needed a log-in to update any of my comments. I have seen that one person has made a rebuttal in the favor of this company stating that the products have been good for their family and has improved their way of life and overall health.

First of all, there would have to be documentation from a health care provider that proves that the products bought were actually responsaile for any health improvements. Second of all, anyone beliving in any of this nonsence has simply not done thier homework! All I have to say is that I have found documentation on Melaleuca posioning and causing allergic reactions! These sales people and consumers should really check out all the facts first!

I'm new to melaleuca and I thought how amazing to be apart of this great company. Natural products and very convenient.
However, after my first shipment I started using the facial moisturizer by melaleuca. It was nice at first, The tingling feeling when I wash my face. On the second day, my face started itching, then with hives and dryness and was so uncomfortable. I didn't want to scratch but as it's my face! But honestly, I'm so not happy and out of by how ppl can claim it's an awesome product when there's allergic reaction to them.
I'm ready to cancel my membership and never look back.
Melaleuca is not the company for me and I would never refer my friends to them. Just an awful experience!

Unfortunately, my child is also having allergic reactions to Melaleuca Renew lotion. We were very optimistic about this cream because we know first hand of another kid with terrible eczema (and I mean horribly terrible) for whom nothing worked and bingo, Renew did the trick. I know each person has different allergies, which means different cures. Apparently, what cures one person can result in allergies for another. Think Benadryl!
So, would I rule our Renew as a great product for eczema? NO! Would I reuse it for my child? Capital N-O.
It just did not work for us.

Ok I am having allergic reaction to Renew cream. Very sad because this is the first time I apply and the exzema is almost gone but as soon as I toutch my mouth or I clean my nose and my hand that I creamed not long ago is in contact with ma face I start having problem breathing and inside my mouth it is swelling. I washed carefully my hands and arms but the cream stays so I really have a problem. I am allergic to aloes but this is not an ingredient of Renew. I am wondering to what I am allergic in that Renew cream ! I am not saing it is toxic but ths is a fact if I am allergic, other peoples are .

I LOVE Melaleuca. I have been with them since Sept 2009. My boys skin is better due to the Renew (cheaper and not greasy like Eucerin) and they have almost no issues with their asthma anymore. Whoever said it is a get rich quick thing was lying. You have to work your business to get anywhere. It can be very profitable if you put forth the effort. Everything has a 100% money back gaurentee. I have returned items just because I don't like the color or scent and get a credit for the full price. There is a min order required every month, which I explain to everyone multiple times. I am sorry if you were misled by someone. You should really try all the products. They will save you money in the long run.

This is awesome...you say you have found documentation of these facts that you have listed. First of all let me ask ... DID YOU HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO ANY OF THE PRODUCTS? Why is it that people want to complain about what they've heard instead of what they have experienced? I have a friend that joined our team only to find out she was allergic to some of the products, I suggested she send them back and drop out ... she sent the products back for a refund but continues to use the other products and has remained a loyal customer. After eleven years of using the Melaleuca products, and having everyone I care about using the products, our results are great! And an extra benefit--the products cost less than I was using before. I use nothing else in my inn. Getting toxic chemicals out of our lives has been a big "plus", and the products work. You don't have to have "documentation" to know your laundry is clean, your septic system never has to be worked on due to lack of chemicals going in (used to have the line cleaned quite often), your expensive linens last longer, and people with allergies often comment that they haven't had the problems while here that they usually have. Melaleuca has lots of science behind their things---lots of patents, which require SCIENCE. I recommend the products to everyone. You'd be silly to keep using toxics that cost more.

I had serious seasonal allergies that would result in sinus infections about 4 times a year. I had gone through Claritin, Claritin D, and Allegra. I was on Allegra D and it was losing it's effectiveness in treating my symtoms when I changed to using Melaleuca products. I only take Sudafed periodically and I haven't had a sinus infection since 2006. Also, my daughter no longer has to use a prescription cream that she used for severely dry skin—the lotion from Melaleuca (Renew) cleared it up. You may not consider this proof but I do.

Melaleuca unauthorized charges

After my father died last year, I reviewed my parents' checking accounts to find that my father had done business with Melaleuca and they had deducted between $800 and $1, 000 from my parents' checking account each month. My mother has a mild case of Alzheimer's and was not aware of my father's spending addiction.

I called Melaleuca and asked them to cancel the account, but they continued to deduct funds from her account without sending products.

I called Melaleuca again, but this time they would not speak with me, since the account was in my parents' name. I attempted to have my mother speak with them, but they literally left her in tears. I then sent a certified letter demanding that they close her account and discontinue deducting funds from her checking account or she would file a law suit. That didn't stop them immediately, but they did stop after about a month.

Yesterday, over a year after canceling the account, Melaleuca started deducting funds from her checking account again! I am going to find out if Mom can sue Melaleuca for theft. This company really should be shut down.

I signed up for melaleuca under the understanding that I would make money because 'everybody would buy this stuff'. Well after the first few months of limitless phone calls and countless hours of unpaid work. I am disabled in a wheelchair and I have 3 children, 1 terminally ill, and 1 with autism. My husband is my full time caregiver and we receive less than a thousand a month for disability for a family of 5.

After 6 months of being forced to spend at least $50 per month mandatory on their overpriced products (which some were 'ok' but not worth the price) I sent a cancellation letter explaining we could no longer afford to put any more money or time into their company. I also informed the person who signed me up and they harassed me to no end to 'hang in there' that we would soon be richer than we ever dreamed of...blah blah blah.

The next month a package shows up on my doorstep and lo and behold they charged my credit card $65! I called the company and they claimed never to have got my cancellation letter and it cosed me another $12 to send the products back! (I was out nearly $30 from shipping costs which were not refundable)

Again I sent another letter, this time certified, and the following month another package arrives! And may I add, due to these charges it made us short and late on our rent evey month for 4 months in a row causing our landlord to have to cancel our lease.

In the course of that 4 months 9 letters were sent 3 registed, 2 certified and notarized and 4 regular (I have all receipts) And all were received but not claimed to have been received and when I called asking for the mail dept and the person who signed for them I was told they no longer work for melaleuca...blah blah blah... We finally lost our beautiful home and as a result could not find an accessible place and had to resort to living out of our van and using the ymca to shower, and the library for homeschooling our children and use of the computers.

We have now been homeless for 2 months and yet Melaleuca continues to send packages to our old address even though 2 have been sent back (no longer at this address) and they continue to charge our credit card, once for the package (our mandatory backup order + return shipping). I have even faxed and received faxed confirmations that they received our cancellation and they continue to charge us! They were even so bold as to automatically renew our contract without my permission! I have not received even a penny of refund from them (only excuses that I have to call their long distance number as they cannot transfer me to that dept...and I do not have a cell phone or long distance card.) They even have it in their records that we are homeless and we are still getting charged money we cant afford and useless empty apologies and excuses why we cant get our money back.

So, if you see the word melaleuca, TURN AND RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

The point of asking for a customer ID number is that would prove to everyone else reading that you actually were a customer... so far you have proven nothing but that you can belittle, personally attack based on my faith and run Melaleuca into the ground with baseless accusations.

You now have added the words "or less" to my back up order quote of $50.49. That is how you work, you twist with subtle manipulation like that in hopes people will have what I truly said re-framed in their minds. Its an old trick and its very old.

You claimed they sent you back up orders after all... yet you cant seem to verify how much they even cost? So far you have claimed, $60, $70, between $60 and $70, $80, and $88. The TRUTH from MELALEUCA ITSELF is that a back up order is $50.49 as I have said all along and will continue to stand behind.

Go ahead and attack me personally some more... it just reveals to everyone the average type of person who posts bad things about Melaleuca online. It's sad for the honest folks who do have an honest complaint because it's the false accusers like you who make their honest complaints on here so suspect.

I don't have to prove to you I was a customer. You obviously sell the products and are on here trying to "erase the bad" thats out there. The way you have done it and continue to do is condescending.
Anyone reading your posts- (as Mark kenney and Mark777 and there are probably more) and I found you as a couple of different names on here- can find you swooming all over anyone on this board that has a gripe about Melalueca. You * are not* the company.. giving *you* my customer ID number means nothing. You don't not work in the customer service department - you are not a reliable source of information- why would I supply this number to you? I can make up a number that starts in 6053-xxxx.. what does that prove?

Why don't you prove your statement that "there are many
35 point options that cost 50.49 or less" - since you are a representative of the company?

Oh gosh, rrobinett, give it a rest already... you claim to be a Melaleuca customer, then claim to be a former customer, then claim you took 5 to 6 months to cancel then claimed you took two months to cancel, then claimed the company wouldn't let you cancel, then when people call you out on all the different tales you redirect attention away from what you say and onto a totally different issue like you are trying to do here...

We get it, you don't want anyone to enroll with Melaleuca... in your opinion they are evil and wicked and should be outlawed... This is a complaint board, not a spew your opinions with no facts board.

I asked you for proof that you were a customer and you have none, just as I asked this person and they have none either. For all any of us know, you and the previous poster are one in the same person because you both speak of these crazy inconsistencies that us who have been with Melaleuca for many years have never even heard of and you spin them to be everyday occurrence to try and influence people looking for honest information. Then you try to say that is what we are doing to you... lol

He claims the back up order costs $88 plus when anyone on earth can call the company and ask them how much is a 35 point back up order and they will tell you $50.49 as it has been for many years now.

As MANY here have said now, opinions are opinions and everyone can have whatever one they want but I am a happy Melaleuca customer and a successful Melaleuca Marketing Executive with detailed knowledge of the product line, the costs of the products, the compensation plan and the policies... by your own admission you are at best a disgruntled former customer. Of course you are going to slime and tear down by any means you can.. to others who are yet to make up their mind, they deserve to get the honest facts so they can make up their own mind and not your inflated numbers and exaggerated claims that vilify a very good company.

So here you are telling someone that a backup order with Melaleuca is 50.49. I find it hard to find a 35 point order that would equal this amount. Please post what this order would contain. When you make this claim- please also include that shipping and local taxes are not included.

Oh - another challenge for someone to post their personal customer ID number on a public website.

Melaleuca did not take $1200 out of your account, that is just foolishness to suggest such. I challenge you to post your customer ID number here. If the company did that I will personally get you on the phone with a company regional manager or vice president but the back up order costs $50.49 plus shipping so $1200.00?

I believe the OP completely. This company has done the same thing to me. I have cancelled my credit card after they took 1200 out of my account. Meleluca is a thief and a scam. They never shipped any product and they claim to be helping the people they are screwing over. The bank says they can not stop payment, the only way to stop it was to reissue a new credit card. I'm going to try to press charges against them with my local police department since this is theft. I am alos talking to an attorney regarding this scam of product and theft with out providing service or compensation. They take your money every month and send nothing in return.

THIS IS JUST NOT MY YEAR - 2nd Ripped Off Complaint (What is this world coming to?) I woke up this morning and pulled up my husbands checking account to find a pending transaction of $63.24 from Melaleuca. I have been a member of Melaleuca for 5 years now with a small downline. Knowing I had not placed a order nor had my husband, I began researching to...
