Meijer an employee

I was in the produce department and was going to buy a grenade veggie tray. Well I noticed one marked down but it was half empty. I took the half empty one and anther that was full to an employee named Gregg I asked him why there was such a difference between them . He said one was marked because of the date . I asked if why it was only half full. ( I didn't want to buy something if someone had opened it and took some out) .He looked at me and Said IF YPU DON'T LIKE THEN DONT BUY I NOT MARKING IT DOWN. Now I don't know if it was because I am disabled and on scooter or because I not physically fit. But I felt he was rude and what he said was unacceptable. I shop at this store multiple times a week and I am truly thinking about finding somewhere to go.

Meijer customer service-returns and exchanges of merchandise

On 11/28/18 at 7:15 a.m. I went to my local Escanaba, MI, Meijer and went to the Customer Service Desk to exchange a shirt I purchased for cash yesterday. I wanted to exchange it for a size larger. There was a sign on the desk that advised me the Customer Service Desk did not open until 8:00 a.m. I then went to the checkout to see if I could exchange the item. The cashier advised me if I paid cash I could return it and purchase the new item in a size larger. I went and got the size larger (same shirt) and went to the cashier. She advised me she could not perform the transaction because there was nobody for a fingerprint for the register to perform that type of transaction. I was then told I'd have to come back after 8:00 a.m.
What kind of service is this for a 24-hour store? I spend a significant amount of money at the Escanaba Meijer and this is unacceptable. I work 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and prefer not to go to the Customer Service Desk after work when there's a lineup after a full day of work, as you can likely understand.

Meijer the "prepared" meals for thanksgiving

I ordered the Thanksgiving Day meals, one each turkey and ham. I will not do this again.
First, I ordered them a week in advance. I live out of town and asked my brother to pick them up at the Maysville Rd in Fort Wayne. He got there and they gave him half the order. He called me and asked if I had ordered ham also. I did, they just didn't give it to him. So, I called the store and, "oh yes, it's here." He had to drive back to the store and get the rest of the order.
Then, when they get the dinners home it is all packaged in the packages that they were shipped in from the companies that made it. I could go along with that, if it had been packaged in some kind of foil pan or something that we could just pop into the oven. I could have walked through your store and did the same thing that your associate did by picking out the packaged potatoes, stuffing and gravy AND probably saved us a lot of money. The turkey was whole, so warming it up that way would have taken a long time and dried it out. The only saving grace was that the turkey was juicy.
Our brother, the one that picked up my order twice, has stage 4 lung cancer and we choose this option for Thanksgiving because we thought it would be less stressful. It was not. Far from it.
I drove from Ohio, a 2 hour drive, and had to scramble for bowls and things to put these items in just to warm them up. I knew it was going to be cold, but the ordering associate should let the customers know what the items were packaged in. I figured meals ready to go, meant ready to warm in the packaged we picked it up in.
Needless to say, I will never do this again and will tell anyone that asks me if they should order this, a big resounding NO.

Meijer meijer heavy whipping cream grade a ultra pasteurized 16 fluid ounces

I bought six Meijer heavy whipping cream 16 oz. I have used 5 of them and not a one of them would stiffen up they were all runny. I went to Walmart to buy theirs and is stiff and right up and was really good I don't know what's wrong with this product of yours it's expiration date isn't till January 2nd 2019. The product was bought at Ionia Michigan Meijer. Thank you.

Meijer lake & trail boots

I was very pleased with the Lake & Trail boots I bought at Meijers. They delivered what I expected, they are light and kept my feet warm and dry the 5 different times I wore them . But after that they failed, walking on wet pavement they soaked up water like a sponge. i tried coating them with rubber cement which worked the few times I wore them but failed afterwards. Apparently you do not test your products

Meijer management

I made a visit to meijer in southfield, mi., on nov.19, 2018, to purchase a playstation that was on sale Nov. 18 thru 24. I was told to come back in 20 min. When the salesperson would return. I did then she (kim fletcher) said they were not on the floor and she needed to call the manager (john Davis) for one. After 10min., he returned with one. She asked that he get another in case she had an additional customer. I asked why I had to wait over a half hour for an item that was one sale for t he second day. He told me he didn't know he had just come to work shortly before my request. This is one of the worst stores in our area for adequate inventory. The manager John Davis made me feel as if my time was not important or a concern of his. This attitude prompted me to send this complaint

Meijer customer service

I've shopping at Meijer in Monroe, MI for several years. I'm finally fed up with the treatment I get by the majority of female employees. Every single time I walk in the store there are many woman that ignore me when I say hello or turn away instead of greeting me. I even get dirty looks even though I'm always friendly and smile or say hi. This store needs to have a meeting about customer service.

Meijer syrup, sox, birthday cards, club soda, checkout lanes

Why is lite Karo Syrup in with bakery items, not with rest of syrups? Where are birthday cards for sister, brother-in-law .Card selection is minimal, offers none of these. You need more women's anklets(not ankle bone length sport sox!) - in a variety of colors, not just brown, black, navy.
Check-out lanes- please open them up! Why have 17 lanes and not use them, even when there are long lines waiting in the only 2 open? Makes no sense. I choose to support the "live" worker; they need the job.

Meijer checkout

My wife and I shop at Meijer quite a bit but tonight may have been the last time. We bought several items including a large turkey for Thanksgiving and a case of beer. As usual we left these two large items in the cart fr the cashier to hand scan. The cashier was very rude to my wife and told her she should have turned the items up so she could scan the items easier. We have never had to do this before.

Meijer coffee bean machines taken out of the stores

Please! Bring back the coffee bean machines...they belong there...they have been there for years and now you took them away. I just purchased a new grinder for home and was enjoying the different beans. quite a few people I have talked with are not happy with your decision to remove the machines.

Is it that you didn't have enough people to take care of them, like refilling, etc? then I asked some of the employee's and one said that the sales were down and there was a problem with keeping the area clean, etc.

I would like to tell you that I love the Meijer stores...but, there are certain other issues that I have with stocking the shelves. I am a short person and hard to reach the top shelf. I have to look around for a tall person, and of course they oblige when I kindly ask for their help and reach for what I can not. It would be great to designate a couple TALL employees to go around all of the isles and take inventory of the top shelves and bring the items forward...I have seen even the handicapped try reaching for their groceries...so if you could please help me out...that would be wonderful!

Meijer unethical behavior

v ea problem with The greeter .She is very rude .I needed a rider and she was right there helping another lady and i yelled at her to help me get rider.She new I was there and avoided me and drove in the store with the scooter. its all on tape. well the problem is i reported her to manager she kept following me to my van and i told her to stop following me.I did not tell her to not help me. so i reported this to the manager and he was rude also and did not call me to the office. he said out load well you dont want her following you. That is not what i said. i wanted her to help me . She declined. I am handicapped. sometimes i take the rider back and bring out the shopping cart to my van.I am 73 years old .

Meijer meijer brand onion dip

Purchased 10-27-18 2 meijer brand onion dip opened, one it is just sour cream, took pictures and copy of receipt, same expiration date, do I return to store and 1 unopened ? Bought this product before no issues, but when you are at a party and open this as onion dip and ends up being just sour cream! Oops what is on the label should be inside, disappointed customer!

Meijer managers

As of 10/26/18, i am no longer an employee of store #123. I had been sexually harassed by a customer as i was working (cashier) and immediately called my coordinater after he left my line, i was told to wait to come tell her because we were busy. So when i finally went into the office, i explained what had happened with 3 managers in the room, i had been taken as a joke and laughed at for what happened to me. I was told by one of them if it happens again call one of us and they couldnt do anything because i called afterwards and not while it was happening. One told me not to call him to walk me to my car when i got off because he wont be here. Another laughed and 'cool story bro.' I quit on the spot after that. I will be taking this as far as i possibly can. I am not the first victim of this kind of incident of the managers not caring what happens to us at work could be very serious and i will not be the last. If you dont mind your managers not caring about you or what happens to you, this is the job for you!

Meijer checkout cashier

My ladies and gentlemen cashiers are taught they are the last department customers will interact with so they must make eye contact, greet, smile and always thank the customer. That is good customer service. Today Alexus showed or displayed none of the above. It appears Alexus had her mouth wired shut. She is the type of employee I would not want on my team.

Meijer employees/ manager/ customer service

When checking out, I asked for help bagging my groceries because I am
Under the weather
And quite sick and contagious.
I asked for help
From the clerk, and they through 1 item into the
Bag and then just left.

I asked to speak to a manager, and when greated by the man, explained the situation as to which he said ‘ they have 10 other people to help'. WORST SERVICE EVER! I will not shop at this store again

Meijer service by team leader

I was shopping, and I work at the Meijer I was shopping at. Anyways, I was off today, and was actually waiting to speak with someone about something and one of the leaders yelled at me. They paged me, again, I was OFF. And yelled at me to get away from the front end of the store because I was a distraction to the cashiers. I had only introduced myself to two new cashiers, because they were waiting to be trained. I got paged, and I got yelled at. I believe that this was very unprofessional, because when I am off, they cannot tell me where I can and cannot be in terms of front or middle or back of the store. Especially when I was just waiting to speak to someone about a matter that had to do with my job.

Meijer pharmacy

I am a regular, very regular customer at the meijer pharmacy in Louisville at Springhurst. This is not the first time I have encountered Etta for check out. You should know that she is not an agreeable person who should have any contact with customers. She must only work on weekends or be a floater because she is not a regular in our pharmacy. She is rude and quite unwelcoming. Its not a hardship for me to go anywhere else to get the tens of thousands of dollars worth of medication that i use. Fling one more prescription at me and watch that happen.

I am definitely finding another pharmacy than the meijers in Owensboro, Kentucky. I have been a regular customer and have filled all of my families prescriptions for the past couple of years but the past 3-4 months the pharmacy personnel and service has had a very rapid and drastic decline. The female pharmacist and manager is the worst and most likely contributes greatly to their poor service. She is not only rude but she inappropriately handled a controlled prescription in filling and reporting to Kasper. As well they continue to have excuses as to why they do not have medications available to fill prescriptions that are needed and due to be filled.

Meijer pharmacy

My 10 month old son had bronchiolitis and needed meds quick. they said they'd have it filled in 45 mins, I called back to check on it and they said they didn't know why anyone would've told me that since they didn't have it in stock but would have it the next day but that wasn't going to work, he needed the medicine right away, I then found another pharmacy who had it in stock and was able to have it filled in 20 mins. As I was getting ready to go get it at the other pharmacy, Meijer Pharmacy called back saying they messed up and did have it and would get it ready as soon as possible.. umm absolutely not, this is supposed to be a pharmacy that handles medication for many people with very serious conditions, people that shouldn't have to hope that something doesn't get mixed up due to the inability of the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians ability to do their jobs.. Hopefully no one dies due to their low standards. I will also be reporting this to the MI Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Michigan Board of Pharmacy. Sadly this is one of many horrible experiences that I and other members of my family and friends have had at the Cedar Springs, MI Meijer Pharmacy.. They too have all agreed to create and submit their own individual reports. Please do something to fix this before you have a lawsuit to deal with.

Meijer gas

On September 3, 2018 around 11 pm at night I stopped at Meijer and purchased close to ten dollars in gas. I proceeded home, parking my car in the garage. I got up to take my son to school on his first day and the car would not start. I called a tow truck and had it checked out and was told I had bad gas and the cost to repair would be $1600. I contacted Meijer and at first the people I spoke with were kind the last was not. I had a vehicle that had never given me and issue and now I am stuck with a non working vehicle.

Meijer unethical behavior

I was shopping in Meijer today before the football game, my fiance and I were picking up some sour cream. My fiance was facing the sour cream and I was facing forward. All of the sudden I was hit from behind, in my back, I turned around and the employee had run into me with a giant "hand truck" or whatever those are called. It was used to haul pallets around the store to stock isles and what not. According to google they are called a pallet truck. It was stocked very high with product so the employee clearly could not see where he was going, he ran right into me and the products that he was carrying rammed right into my back. When the employee realized he had hit an actual person he just turned it away from me, trying to maneuver the big pallet truck and ended up clipping my leg while trying to turn, I explained to him that he was pinning me between my cart and the pallet truck and he backed up and then turned and continued on his way. He asked if I was okay and I replied yes and that was it, he never offered to get a manager or anything. He then ran into another person after me! He should be pulling this heavy and full of a pallet cart NOT pushing it, you obviously can't see where you are going and I have no clue what he was thinking. Imagine if I was a small child, they would've been crushed and any parent would have flipped out. I would've fallen forward had my cart not been there to catch me, he was walking full speed and ran right smack into my back! It already cause enough of a scene with other shoppers so I wanted him to just get out of my way and get home because I was shocked, embarrassed, and just wanted to get home. I did not yell at the young man or make the scene any bigger I just simply went about my business and held back the tears. I want Meijer to be notified because I may intend to look into getting a lawyer, I am sure this was caught on camera and I have recorded the time, location, and what I was wearing to assist in the investigation. I just keep thinking had it been a child or elderly person, someone really could've gotten hurt and if you are going to push a pallet truck down a very busy main isle you need to be aware of shoppers and your surroundings. If you cannot handle the equipment, you need to NOT be working on the floor. I hope this complaint makes it back to the store and if I proceed with a lawsuit that Meijer takes it seriously so this man does not hurt someone else.
