An internationally based illegal bait and switch activity is targeting users of the Internet who are trying to search for drivers for their computers or other information on the web. A ruse is set up on the internet that purports to be a legitimate “software driver download" club but is actuality a front to a website that features XXX Porn pictures. The consumer is “duped" when he searches on “Google" for a software driver such as “Windows 2000 USB Driver" or other types of common information (music, videos, etc.). When the user clicks on a particular link he is directed to a software page that indicates for $4.87 (or other similar amount) he can download a specific driver for his computer which does exactly what he wants it to do. After providing credit card and security information, he is immediately redirected to an XXX porn site that features “unending" shows of naked women in explicit compromising positions. His credit card is charged the $4.87, a $1 assist fee and a recurring $39.95 per month fee which he cannot get rid of because the toll free numbers are bogus. There are at least 17 specific complaints I immediately found on your site about this fraud and is continuing several months of time and is INTERNATIONAL in scope.

Warning! This is a sophisticated scam which appears to directly involve the central porn sites as shown in the attachments, www.cyberotica.com, www.megadownloadpass.com, various [protected]@live.com, and www.cswebhelp.com is one front organization handling the money transfer. I looked hard for the link I originally followed but could not find it (this would show you how the person is duped into providing credit card information). Note that several duped customers describe this problem, report occurrences as this is a massive and continuing scam. Cancel your credit card immediately if you believe you have been sucked into this scam.

I registered for a three day trial at dll-provider.com. When I clicked submit to register, I suddenly noticed two PRECHECKED boxes way down at the bottom of the page. By then it was too late and I was automatically registered for two porn sites. Dll-provider.com was also a sleazy site with stolen software, movies, music etc. And not what they appeared to be at all. I attempted to immediately cancel my membership but was not able to get a confirmation that my membership had been cancelled. I called my credit card and sure enough they had already charged my card for the three day trial and the first month's membership. I had to cancel my credit card. But the first month's charges are still going to go through. I am disputing and as of today, the issue has not been resolved. DO NOT REGISTER FOR dll-provider.com. megadownloadpass.com or vipbookmark.com. They are sleazy and malicious sites.

I was looking for a Torrent and fell into the megadownloadpass.com trap. I am trying to get them to cancel my subscription but so far no luck. These guys are bad and I recommend everyone to stay away from them.

under the guise of offering for purchase- a movie soundtrack, I found that after making a payment I was then forwarded to a pornography site.

I thought I was purchasing a $39.99 worth of free downloads (a game ) for $4.99. Instead I got directed to a porn site where they wanted more money before I could download anything!

On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2008, I purchased a three day trial period for a Adult site. They said the cost would be $4.87. On Sunday morning I tried to cancel the service. They were closed, I guess on Sunday. I sent them an email telling them I wanted to cancel, I followed there instructions on how to do it. On Monday I tried calling them from 8AM until late PM. They will not answer the phone. On Tuesday, my checking Account was charged, $4.87, $1, $1 and also $39.83. I only authursed $4.87. I tried all day Tuesday to call them but they won't answer. I had to have my bank close my Credid Card. I know I learned a lesson, never do any type Business on the Computer with a Credit Card.

I was trying to download some MP3 music, when a window came up and told me that if I paid for a free 3 day trial, I could then have unlimited downloads. I though that this was a fair deal, so I (Stupidly) gave all my Credit Card Details to this site called http://secure.platinumbucks.com/cascade/cascade_v4.php?fromnbl. Well, man, was I suprised when these bare bodies came up on my screen! I wanted music, not porn!
I am scared that they will take more out of my account. Epoch Billing Company in the USA have no record of this transaction.

That is true, they will continue to bill you a monthly fee for access to their service. A suckers game!

I had the same nasty experience: whenever you try to call the number that comes on the credit card bill billhelp247.c0m tel. [protected], they tell you to press such and such a digit and you get back to the initial menu. I think the only thing to do is cancelling the credit card in order not to get charged in the future. I've lost US$ 96! just by clicking the one time payment of 4.87! We just got ripped off!

Call your CC company now and tell them what happened and they can protect you from other charges that might appear on your CC.
