    last night, i was trying to buy a classical music dowloader, on a musical page in WWW.torrenthound and had some problems to get connected with them! i had to fill 3 or 4 times the page with my identity and VISA card number! but finally, when i got in, i saw that i was not in a musical site, but in a PORNO DVD site, and they seem to have billed 3 or 4 times more than 4 dollars in my VISA card!
    i shall go to complain in the police, tomorrow morning!
    the 2 companies which are involved in that thing are: www.torrenthound and MEGADOWNLOAD

    The same thing happened to me with this site. Complain to the FBI at http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. Also, contact your credit card company.

    Yep, me to. They advertised the left for dead demo as a free pc download. The payment process said that it had not work the first time then again the same for the second time. Then they said they were transferring me to an alternative/secondary payment site. I have now received email payment confirmations for 2 x $4.87 plus 2 x $1. Then the site comes up is a porno site, and then they have added me to Cybererotica.com. The worst part is they have somehow then charged $39.73 as a recurring charge for megadownloadpass and also for VipBookMark. Avoid this site like the plague. They are based in panama and are out to rob unsuspecting members of the public.

    Update. Had to cancel my card and have a new one issued as the email company names differ from the ones claimed. A totally different higher amount has been tried to be claimed. The bank tells me that they have to wait for the payment to go through on my statement before they can dispute even though the money is held in an as yet unclaimed holding account. No wonder scamsters like this can keep doing it with the lack lustre attitude of the banks.

    This is to inform you people out there that Download-provider.com in collaboration with Megadownload pass is using their tactics to lure you to subscibe their membership ...claiming that there are millions of files to download till your heart content.

    go to link http://www.customersupporthelp.com/index.php look for cancel button. read everything very carefully because they try to get you to cancel but then apove 14.95 chrage. read the terms carefully!

    OMG! me and my husband went through the same thing! In total we got billed $108.00, it was horrible. We called our credit card company and explained to them what was going on, and they said there going to have to cancel that credit card and send another one. I went to http://www.customersupporthelp.com/index.php Apparently the 10 attempts we made to speak with someone from that company failed. Although they did send us one email that asked for more of our personal information.

    I have been charged and i never ever created an account. i never received any confirmation email or account information. i cannot submit a request to cancel because an account number is Required on the form to submit it!! i have attempted to phone - noone answers. Credit card company has opened up a dispute however if i cannot cancel the fraudulent account, they can still charge my card and i must continue to dispute. I am changing my card number however the MC says if the merchant responds that it is a valid transaction, the charges will roll to the next card. This is a Horrid and Scam websited
