Mega Health / Non payment of claims

We are self employed and signed on to Mega Health a few ears ago. When we spoke to the salesman we requested that our coverage be the same as our previous Blue Cross coverage that was just terminated. He stated that are coverage was the same as our BC/BS coverage.

I then became pregnant and due to my age, and previous issues I was sent for many tests. Prior to testing I contacted Mega Health to explain the situation and up and coming tests scheduled. The representative stated that I was covered and wished me good luck.

I now have approximately 8000.00 of outstanding and non paid claims which have now affected my credit and Mega refuses to pay.

I need assistance and help with what my next step is to help save my credit and have these resolved. We are no longer with Mega and would warn anyone against signing on with them.
