I have been a "customer" of MedChoice for almot 3 years...without ever having a late payment. On 4-12-11 I received a call from someone in "Collections" that told me my payment was more than a month late. I told her I had never had a late payment and that I had mailed the April 10th payment as usual...and that there must be a mail or processing issue. She very rudely asked me if I wanted to make the payment immediately or was she gonna have to "run my credit". I asked her to let's walk thru this again and look at recent payments. She told me my payments for this year had posted on; Jan 10, Feb 10 & March 10. I asked how I could be more than a month late if my payment was due on 4-10-11 and she was calling me on 4-12-11 ??? She said...well, you're not more than a month late, but you're late. and again asked...do you want to make a payment today ? Again I told her I had already made the April payment...she hung up. Anyway, I went online and made another payment, paying a $10 fee for it to post right away. And later that day...my check for the original April 10th payment posted on 4-12-11. So, i had made 2 payments of $125...$250 total...for the 4-10-11 due date. On Saturday 4-16-11 I received my most recent statement that showed me still late with a minimum payment due of $231. A late fee of $35 and an Interest charge of $55. What a complete slap in the face to an outstanding customer. I will never do business with this company again.
