Meaningful Beauty unauthorized credit card charges

I called their customer service dept on 2/11/17 to cancel my account and remove all my credit card information. I returned the kit they had mailed me and they refunded my charge less shipping and handling. On 5/23/17, I saw my credit card they had charged $177.59 on 5/22/17. I called and was told I had not requested to have my account "cancelled" but only "suspended". They did show in the notes that I had said I was no longer using their products but had switched to another brand. When I demanded they refund the money to my credit card, they said they would do so, minus the shipping and handling charges. I was finally able to convince the Rep that, since they had used my card without my permission, I did not owe them for S/H charges. Since the package is in transit, I will have to refuse it and then wait another 10 days to see if they refund my account the full amount.

Meaningful Beauty returns

Cust# 6507346
Received product 11/2016. Called and cancelled auto ship. Asked for return address, was told it was in the box with return documentation. There is no return address to send product to. I have called every month since then to get a return address. I finally get ahold of a c/s rep and am told that I can no longer return the product since it is past the 60 day policy. I have no complaints on the product, it was fine but did not do what I thought it would. Now, when people ask me why I didn't like the product, I will advise them that you cannot get ahold of anyone at that company to assist you once they know it is for a return. I believe if you believe in your product, you should return it if a customer is not happy. If this cannot be rectified, I will gladly add my name to the Class Action Suit against the company and representatives.
I would greatly appreciate a return address and refund when product is received.
I find it to be much less expensive for your company to refund the money due to me than to lose potential business when people hear the issues/problems that your company does not rectify.

I thought the product was so-so. Nothing special. There are much better products available for less money. I am going through the same thing now with my return and refund. Even though they have canceled my account, they told me they are still charging me for the balance of the products.

I trusted Cindy Crawford's reputation that she would only associate with a company that would operate ethically. I am a fool for not researching prior to making the purchase. I have requested a full refund and a prepaid shipping label. If I do not receive either I will be submitting my complaint to the BBB as well as sharing the experience through all my social media accounts.

Meaningful Beauty billing

Meaningful beauty is absolutely the worst company to deal with. I called multiple times to cancel shipment and they still kept coming. When I spoke with billing I was told to send it back and they will credit my account. So you would think that is the end. Wren. I received a letter from a collation's agency stating I owe over $200.00 which is way more than the 3 months re-shipment order. Now I'm fighting the claim with a collections agency representative that can't provide any information but repeat mute information. Don't order. Products aren't worth it.

Meaningful Beauty unauthorized charges

As a new Meaningful Beauty customer I received my package weeks after paying for it. Then I received a charge, I waited for a delivery. Disappointed I never received my package but I did receive another charge today for $49.99 even tho they said it would always be $39.99 they lied! I've read several reviews that show this has been happening to everyone who ever orders from them. Why is this still going on? What can we do to stop these charges. We deserve to get our money back or receive the product for all of these unauthorized charges. This is a shame! Cindy Crawford should take her name off of this or stand up for her customers. I'll bet most customers wouldn't have purchased this product had her name not been on it. Sounds crazy, but I'd be willing to bet I'm right!

Meaningful Beauty auto ship fraud

After seeing the amazing infomercials I finally decided to try the introductory kit. When ordering it was NOT obvious to me that I was electing a recurring auto ship 'membership'. I am sure it's in the fine print but a reputable company would make it obvious and force you to check a box acknowledging that you were knowingly choosing this option. So perhaps I am at fault. Anyway, the kit arrived and I read the enclosed documents and learned another shipment would be automatically sent to me and charged to my debit card (never would have used a debit had I known it was recurring, actually, never would have ordered in the first place). I decided to try the products for a week before canceling my 'membership'. I wasn't that impressed, my skin felt dry and itchy, so I called after one week to cancel. The girl on the (call center outside of US) phone urged me to give it a try. I had to get pretty adamant and she eventually said she was canceling the next order and I would receive email confirmation within 24 hours. Never got it and by that time I had checked the company's reviews and discovered this company's bad reputation and became concerned I would be charged. When the kit is delivered it says you will receive your auto refill in about 30 days. Its' really a lot closer to 2 weeks based on what I was told when I canceled. I called back to confirm my membership was canceled and was told it was, I asked for email confirmation, again was told I would have it in 24 hours. Guess what, it should come as no surprise I have never received it. I plan to contact my bank to block all transactions drafted by them because I have a bad feeling this might not go away. Such a shoddy way to do business. Had they not made me feel like I was getting ripped off from the beginning I might have given the products more of a chance and found one or two I wanted to reorder. Instead I want to never do business with Guthy Renker again, have a bad impression of Cindy Crawford and Valerie Bertinelli and feel compelled to spread the word. Lesson learned, check the reviews before ordering anything.

Meaningful Beauty don't buy their crap and you won't get money back

I ordered two products from the company www.meaningfulbeauty.com. I tried them, but my skin burnt, it was red and itching. I stopped to use it and contacted the rep. I showed some pics and told that their products didn’t fit me. I asked if it was possible to get money back, but the rep started to laugh and told “no”. The worst company ever, so avoid these ### and post comments about your experience with them.

Meaningful Beauty I haven't received 2 more packages and I can't stop the subscription

I subscribed for the plan of skin care products, which offered the company www.meaningfulbeauty.com. It was real scam, ‘coz I paid money for the 3 months subscription, but these jerks delivered only one package. After that they stopped to reply and impossible to cancel this fake subscription. They are liars and scammers, so be careful and better avoid them. As well as post comments about your experience with them.

Meaningful Beauty bad costumer service

I've been using meaningful beauty products (not the make-up) and I am satisfied for 6 years. Unfortunately, it does not come in a package. Customer service is so bad. When ordering online, it takes 10 business days to ship your order. Therefore, I called the 800 number to place my order and asked if they can ship it faster. I should've gotten the customer service name so I can post it. She sounded unhappy on the phone and not helpful at all. She told me to place my order online rather than ordering it from her. Since I am almost running out of my cleanser, I am willing to pay the extra charge to rush my order. She didn't even gave me the chance to do that. She keeps insisting on ordering online. What's the use of having an 800 number customer service if they don't help you? GOOD PRODUCT BAD SERVICE. I hope "meaningful beauty" management will read my complaint.

Meaningful Beauty never received still charging

DO NOT PURCHASE Meaningful beauty. I ordered in June which I never received. I called them to cancel my order where I had already paid $49.95. They deducted $49.95 out of my account on AGAIN on July 15 and I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY ORDER. Do not buy from this company. They scam you. I will be getting in touch with the BBB. I should have checked online about this company. I read that there are many people going through the same thing I am going through. RIPOFF ARTISTS

Meaningful Beauty threatening collection

Shipped product NOT ordered in January, charged my cc that I disputed; product was returned and I sent email to stop further shipments and issue credit; they shipped again in April - again NOT ordered, charged my cc, I disputed and I emailed them again, telling them that I was returning the product and to credit the account; shipment was refused to postal carrier; received statement of balance due; I returned the statement along with email copies; then I received a postcard indicating that they received returned shipment back at their warehouse, asking for re-shipment instructions. I sent back saying "DO NOT Reship"; their listed contact phone # is not theirs, so I can't make contact with them via phone. I instructed my cc company to close the account to avoid further charges. Now they are threatening me with collection agency! Bring it on!

Meaningful Beauty dirty business

Dirty Business First of when you order products from Guthy Renker they don't tell you that comes from 3 different companies. When I had to call to cancel I had to call dozens of different numbers, was ridiculous. Customer service was super rude and unhelpful. The first shipment was not received and I called to cancel the whole thing. They did not cancel and continuously kept charging me. The second packaged arrived and I returned back. The third never came. I called several... SEVERAL times discussing the matter and nothing was done. I had to dispute the transactions with my credit card. After that Guthy Renker mail me collections letter, I keep trying to call to resolve the issue and it's impossible I had to pay for some items I never received so it didn't go to collections, now they are sending me more bills for things I have no idea what it is and I keep trying to call them and nothing is ever resolved, !

Meaningful Beauty charges after cancellation

I cancelled membership, however, before the end of the trial I received another kit, I paid for shipping charges. I have since cancelled this account some time ago and now received a bill for $14, 95.

I do not owe this bill and request that you remove the charge. It's been at least 2 months since I returned the product with my own payment.

I will file a complaint with the Consumer Complaint Agency of the United states. I have seen all of the hundreds complaints that include this same issue - overcharging!

REMOVE THE CHARGE!

Meaningful Beauty re-curing charges

I ordered Meaningful Beauty in December of 2013. After waiting a very long time for it to arrive I was greatly disappointed in the product. I cancelled all remaining deliveries as of April 23, 2014. I received confirmation from the post office that my return was received by Meaningful Beauty on April 25, 2014. On May 5, 2014, my credit card was charged again - kinda weird since I had cancelled and they had received the returned product. After calling I was informed that my return would be processed as of June 11, 2014 and that I would be charged repeatedly until that date. Considering that they took less than 24 hours to charge my credit card I find this utterly ridiculous. I now will be incurring interest charges on a product that was returned in April but I guess it just sits around for months before someone processes it. I really wish I had known about this website before I ordered. That is no way to run a company. Any other products I have ordered either online or on the phone that I have had to return have never taken this long to refund. Would be really nice if Cindy Crawford herself would read all of the complaints in regards to Meaningful Beauty.

Meaningful Beauty wrongful charges

After many frustrating communications with Meaningful Beauty and Guthy-Renker, and support from my credit card company I received an e-mail on November 23, 2013 from Guthy-Renker stating that my account was closed as requested in September and that all unauthorized charges were removed from my account. I have also received a letter from my credit card company stating that my dispute "has been successfully resolved".

Now several months later I have received a first time "Statement" in the mail as well as by e-mail that "my account is delinquent and that I have ignored multiple statements to pay my bill".

I believe it is now time for all of us who have suffered at the hands of Guthy-Renker and Meaningful Beauty to organize a Class Action Suit. This harassment has to stop.

Meaningful Beauty face products

I was told they were only charging me 29.99 with free shipping and that I can cancel if I am not happy with poduct. Now I got a e-mail telling me they are charging me 119.85. They are freuds. Do not order, for they lie. When I called to cancel they told me to call after 72 hours, but they sure are fast to take your money. They better give me all my money they lied to me. I even asked her is that all that they were charging me the 29.99 from my card and she answered me yes. I have every right to cancel, they were deceitful.

Meaningful Beauty overcharge fraud

First the sales rep stated that I will have 30 days to try the products for myself and my mom for $39.95 each... I did not receive my kit, but my mother received hers and discovered that they took the complete total of 163.34 and charged all the tax, $13.49 against a $39.95 charge. Instead of breaking up the tax for $39.95, which would be $4.4955 totaling $54.4455. Instead of charging $54.44, they charged $63.44. And to add to this, the sister company under Guthy-Renker, WEN hair care, made extra charges on my Visa card as well, when I had already paid for the hair care system through the Meaningful Beauty sales rep, who asked if I wanted to try the product for $10.00. I had to call them and make them reverse the charge and remove my card from their system and I had to call and remove my card from Meaningful beauty's system also.
This is a horrible company. And the customer service is even worse... They tried to make me think that I misunderstood, but I did not because I kept asking the rep, who sound as if she was in another country, "were the charges complete and is this the complete total of everything". She said yes. She never said we take the entire total of $163.34 and divid it into 3 payments, but we charge the entire tax on $163.34. She said u are only charged $39.95 plus tax on that per kit, I ordered 2, plus the $10.00 Wen charge. Everything totaled a little under 100.00...this is crazy

Meaningful Beauty poor customer serevice

Only the masque is a OK product. The day & night creams are too oily, and causes breakout. The neck cream are sticky. The eye cream makes no difference.
Their accounts is bad but the customer services is even worst.
I had returned the 2nd shipment the same day via Purolator, got a confirmation #. Within the same week I received the 1st payment notice. I mail back stating that I had return the shipment with the date & confirmation #. 4 weeks later, I received the 2nd payment notice. I called their accounts department, then they claim just receive the return shipment and thus set the balance to $0. However within the same week, I started to receive calls from a collecting services harassing me for payment. I had ignored it for 2 week, and called the collecting service. They were not aware of the $0 balance status and suggest I called the accounts department. I call the number and turns out to be the customer services, I tell them what happens and try to complain the poor communication between the departments, the Agent Karrie which takes my call ignore me. I called again, , the 2nd agent Kim try hard to write me off. Keeps telling me: Madm, listen, you had o balance on your accounts and it did not hurt your credit." Money is not the most important thing concern. It is their poor service that piss me .

Meaningful Beauty scam and lie

After watching the ad on Tv, I decided to send my sister the package for around 40$ for a one time only deal. They said I had to call back to cancel recurrent orders. I did it, however they sent a 130 dollars product again without any permission. I called to pay the deal, but this guy named Kenny, when asked about the Internet place to complain he said I should write it to Proactive.com! I asked for his last name and didn't want to give it. He repeated proactive.com to leave comments... Are you kidding? Is not this Meaningful Beauty? Meaningful beauty must think that our intelligence coefficient is vey low... Very bad business malpractices and lying customer service support.

I had just placed an order and after reading all the reviews called and tried to cancel my order and not have it shipped. I was told my information would not be in the system for up to 72 hours. I am not sure how they were able to charge my credit card if they did not have my information. I also thought I was just getting a 30 day supply with a one time charge of $39.95 plus tax and shipping. I was then told I would be billed for the 39.95 for three months since they were sending a 90 day supply to take advantage of the 60 day trial. I was all very confusing and misleading. They need to have a more honest approach to their method and ask you if it would be okay to change from the 30 day supply to the 90 day. So far I am not very impressed and hope I can reach someone to cancel my order tomorrow.
