MCI/ Worldcom / Unauthorized change of service
On April 3 of 2009, I received a letter from my carrier, Verizon, that I had switched and authorized a change in my phone service to worldcom for my local and long distance. I do not have long distance with ANYONE. I did not speak to anyone from MCI about this switch. When I asked the Verizon rep, he said that MCI has been known for using pop ups that when you click on, it sends a cookie/spyware to their computers and changes your service. WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. If and when I get a bill, they are gonna have hell to pay.
