McDonald's stay away

The McDonalds on Albany Avenue in Atlantic City New Jersey is running a towing scam. They have signs saying Patron Parking Only or you will be towed, but on a few very small signs, most posted below eye level and behind parked cars, at the bottom (not all of the signs) it says "Dine In Customer Only Parking" - 45 minute limit. I ate at McDonalds on August 31, 2008, walked across the street and when I returned a few minutes later my car was being towed. I couldn't believe it? I ended up being out $80 and I am sure that the Manager of McDonalds and the Towing company have a scam going on. I saw several cars being towed from the lot, and a few angry patrons, just in the short time I was trying to sort this out with the Manager who wouldn't be budged. I wonder how much he's (a Mr. Tuliano) raking in for this - a lot I expect. The tow truck driver looked like his twin and he wouldn't give me his name.

McDonald's bad management

I'm complaing about the rude behavior of one morning manager at the McDonalds in Richlands VA. I went in today and I over heard a manager saying that she was sick of one of the employees and that she wished she could fire him. This was supposedly over not having enough food in the cabinet. However, other employees stated that the cabinet was well stocked and that there was a rush on the product that the manager was complaining about. Also this manager is always mean, short tempered, and very rude to employees and some customers. What has happend to survice with a smile?

McDonald has been one of our favorite fast food restaurant for more than a decade. I have been eating at many McDonald branches, including US, and this was the first time I treated like a stupid. Here is what had happened.
We went to McDonald East Coast Parkway Singapore, the one with Drive-Thru, around 11:30AM. My wife would like to have Chicken McNuggets and Fish Fillet and I usually order BigMac meal. When the cashier was ready to serve me, she immediately refused and told me that those meals are only for Lunch Time. I got puzzled by what she said and checked my watch again, it was 11:38AM, and told her “It is lunch time”. Then she said Lunch Time is from 12PM. I argued with her for 5 minutes insisting that it was already lunch time and wanted my order be served. Despite of the loud voice and no other staff helped to intervene, I felt useless to argue, and immediately left to another fast food restaurant that could serve any menu I wanted.
As one of US chain restaurant, I don’t think it is not right to dictate any customer what to do and I hope the management can do something about this.

McDonald's overcharged greatly

Waiting for our flight from dalaman airport in turkey to uk, our two kids felt a little hungry so they brought 2xhappy meals from mcdonalds my kids came back with the change after eating the meals, on counting the change and checking the prices we had payed £15.00 FOR THE 2 HAPPY MEALS In uk it only costs around £4.00 so how can they justify charging so much.

McDonald's abusive customer service

I visited Mc Donalds today and ordered in the drive through the guy took my order and asked for $5.50 for a happy meal i told him its not possible and than he called someone and than told me its right now.
i asked him politely was he a new staff in return he replyied to me he's been working for 2 1/2 years as he was annoyed me asking him that question.
as i was about to go to the next window he banged the till and said f... off.
I moved to the next window and told the manager about the way i was been treated, the manager told me to park at the waiting area.
I was fumed up as the manager named kristy as she approached me. she was smiling instead and told me to calm down and told me that i abused that guy who was taking the order.
Instead of apologising the manager was taking the staff side and refused to listen and instead threw the happy meal on my window and abused me.
i felt like getting down and punching the manager but was pulled back by my wife.
the toy hit my 5 year old kid who was sitting on the back seat and was traumatised with the managers anger and abusive language and was crying constantly.

is this customer service? Is this what you get at MC Donalds?
does MC Donald sell food or Attitude?
My son never ever wanna go to MC Donalds again ... said in tears.

please check the video recording at MC Donalds on 4th january at 6:30pm will prove everything.

way to go MC Donalds well behaved staff specially managers Bravo Bravo.

McDonald's poor customer care

I went to this McDonald branch on the 1st of January, at around 22:00; it was open & on the door it's clearly written OPEN 24/24 but the Boys inside (their age is no more than 14 years) refused to serve me & said it's closed & when I asked when will it be re-opened? they didn't answer! I went & came back after 30 minutes & it is still closed although it's supposed to be 24/24. Imagine I walked about 1Km under the heavy snow to attend this restaurant & when I enter the kids don't reply! The staff here really sucks & it's not the first time they show such nasty attitude!

I went this restaurant today around 9:25 am. I order for a egg sandwitch. The kitchen crew made the sandwitch without gloves. When I ask why they are not using gloves, the other rep replied that the kitchen krew just came back from washroom. I told them you should use gloves and I refuse to take the sandwitch and request them to make another with gloves, then they made me another with burned bread and the moment she made my sandwitch the kitchen crew through her gloves to the garbage and made sandwitch for other customer without gloves. When I told them that I will make a complaint and I need the store # then they were trying to avoide me and they didn't even care if I complaint or no, I was waiting there about 10 minutes for the no. I think its very poor customer service.
Thanks

It sucks that you were treated that way. There was no reason for it. But, as a former employee of a McDonalds, that was supposed to be a 24 hour store, there were some nights we were not open 24 hours.
A few times, is because they hire someone to come in a clean the entire kitchen area, fry vats and all.
Every morning, before the new computers were installed, we had to shut down the store for about 1 to 2 hours and wait for the computers to close out and run their reports, and to start a new day.

Just letting you know what could be some of the reasons they may have closed the store.

As far as their behavior, it was completely uncalled for! There is no reason whatsoever that those employees should act the way they did!

McDonald's bad service/missing order

It's the day after Christmas! Last night we got 7 inches of snow -
Husband and I got the urge f or burgers and fries so we dug the car out and drove to the mcdonalds at Rte 34 in the Home Depot shopping center.
We ordered an Angus Burger, 2 Mcdoubles with no cheese, large fry and large diet cokes.
sat patiently in line while the person on the speaker in the drive thru who needed to learn english a bit longer, repeated the order, and we drove up to window 1 to pay. then pulled up to window 2-
got the drinks, and was handed the bag, drove home.
Got home - no mcdoubles! ARGH! We live 6 miles from this place, but we were home, had removed boots, coats, etc and had settled to eat-
Damit! So my husband called the restaurant, asks for the manager who could barely speak english and was told to come and get them...my husband said that was ridiculous and asked why this location consistently gets orders wrong - the "manager" says in his broken english "we try to make better" - and then asked our name so we could pick them up next time we come by -
it will be a cold day in hell- we are calling McDonald's corporate Monday - this has got to stop! Franchisee's like these are ruining your business - ticked off customers are merely promised some food in exchanged for their silence - i sure hope that mcdonalds corp tracks complaints for locations and revokes franchises with too many because portillos and culvers are close by and are far better -

If this locations constantly gets orders wrong then why didn't you check the bag before you left? And he offered to give you your food, what did you want him to say to you when you called him? Mistakes happen he tried to fix it for you it's your own problem you didn't want to go back out and get the rest of your order. Double check your bag next time :).

the mcdonalds on yale and central was letting an illegal booting company operate from the mcdonalds parking lot and boot cars across the street for a different buisness with improperly marked signs. if your car got booted mcdonalds would start selling you fries from the left side of the fry bin. the good fries were in the right side of the bin. the booting company and mcdonalds made the news about the illegal booting but never admitted they were letting the booting company do work for other buisnesses while operating from the mcdonalds parking lot

McDonald's service takes too long, breakfast is served way too early

At about 2:00 a.m. tonight I went to McDonalds to order a fish sandwich and fries just to be told that they couldn't do it because they were serving breakfast. 2:00 in the morning is WAY too early for breakfast. 4:00 would be more than reasonable. I went out in the freezing cold all for NOTHING! Also, their service is rediculously slow. Every time I go there I wait at least ten minutes to get my food. This has got to stop. Wendys and Burger King always has my food ready when I pull up to the food service window. I think it's time to say bye-bye to McDonalds! You are WORTHLESS McDonalds!

McDonald's terrible service

Asked for a cup of water at drivethrough window and they told me they didn't supply water other than to sell me Dasani. I was told if I wanted water to come inside and get a complimentary cup. I went inside and got the cup. It was about the size of a bathroom Dixie cup, not enough water to hold a gulp. There was a dispenser for the water and when I poured it, chunks of old food were mixed in with the water. I immediately confronted the new owner and told him about the food in the water and how I've never seen a restruant not give complimentary water at the drivethrough. The owner replied, "You know, sir, there are other fast food restauraunts in town why don't you go to one one of those." No attempt to correct the problem, no apology, nothing. I will never step foot at that place again and will tell everybody I meet not to go there.

This is no way to conduct a business and the owners should know this. I have several friends who work for these jerks and it doesn't seem it's going to change any time soon. McDonalds of Alamosa has taken a serious decline in service (the people they hire are ###s) and food quality. This place is a death trap, don't eat there or bother with the lousy service!

McDonald's horrible food

I live next to McDonald's and have children. We have been going there for yrs and spending a lot of money. The last 3-4 times I have gone the food was cold, service was only focused on fast not friendly or good. Every time I ask for sauce for the chicken nuggets or maybe a packet of ketchup I don't ever seem to get it and when I get home after spending the time and the money I do expect to have some sauce for my COLD nuggets. I have told the children do not ask to go to McDonald's any more we have to many other fast, friendly, hot food places that will give me ketchup and I will wait in line for fresh cooked food. It is not a speed contest. The only people working at this location is a bunch of kids who are standing at the drive through window and texting their friends on their phones. I'm sick of it. We will not go back.

McDonald's cleanliness

About a month ago my Husband went to the McDonalds on Leonard NW in my town. He ordered 2 yogurt parfaits and brought them home.

As I opened the bag containing the parfaits, I noticed a very strong unpleasant odor. I quickly found that the odor was coming from the wrapper containing the plastic spoon.

The odor smelled strongly of feces. We were absolutely disgusted.
I called McDonalds and talked to a young man who said to bring the parfaits back, which my Husband was going to do anyway to show a manager, or rather let them smell, the wrapped spoon.

My Husband went through the drive thru window, as it was around 10:30 pm, and the eating area were closed.

Instead of assisting him, the female manager on shift told him that it was the fault of the company who makes the utensils and accused him of trying to get back $2.12.

I'm not trying to be a "###", but I drive a Mercedes, I certainly do not need two bucks back, I just don't like getting fast food utensils that smell like someone rubbed it in their ### crack.

Haven't gone back since and never will again. Beware of this place. Someone could be using your drinking straw as an enema, all in the name of good fun. Yuck!

McDonald's poor business

all the buildings, inside and out are falling apart. u drive up to the bunesses and you just want to drive past. you take a chance and go inside and it is just as disgusting. from what i have experienced all the employees are just working to get a paycheck, service is slow and food is put together in a hurry. no sense of urgency because they say thier bosses dont care. this is the most disgusting bussiness i have seen in a long time and i feel for the employees and for the people that think they can stop and get food.

McDonald's empolyee abuse

I was going to Mcdonalds at Madison street where i live at 6:15 am to buy breakfast and i witnessed a manager there man handle an employee yelling at him and making him bring down the chairs from the tables. She cursed at him in spanish. He is oriental. I was so turned off by this i decided to withdraw money from the atm and go elsewhere for my breakfast. I approached her and asked her several times if she was the manager. She said yes. I told her i was reporting her for abuse. Not only did she verbally attack me but as i walked out she came after me and threatened to beat me up. Cursing at me in spanish.I saw the look of fright in the employees eyes and told him not to be afraid i was reporting her. After work i went back and spoke to another manager and he told me she abuses that employee making him do extra work. And threatening with firing if he doesn't comply. The manager also told me he himself was new. And was trying to find employment in another place because she (manager) always curses and yells at the oriental empolyee.I am not the first customer she had problems with. She has yelled and threatened three other customers. "Mcdonalds is your friendly place" was a jingle they used years ago. Not for this employee it isn't. Abuse in the work place is unacceptable. This is not a third world country, this is America! No one should be subjected to this kind of "torture"

McDonald's discrimnation and bad treatment

I have been going to McDonalds at St Clair and Christie for the last 20 years because I live in this neighbourhood. My biggest complaint is that this particular restaurant has many Filipinos working there - and they speak in their own language and treat the other non Filipion employees badly by yelling at them in front of customers and making fun of them speaking their own language. I know this becuase I am Filipino myself. They smile at me sometimes when they do that but I dislike this behaviour and will not smile back. I wish that someone from the head office would say soemthing to the boss - people who do this make all Filipinos look bad. We are not all like these people. It is not fair and it is discrimnation against the non Filipinos - we have been treated like that and know what if feels like... why would we do that to ohter people... especially when you are lucky enough to have a job.

Thank you for listening and if you can help stop this bad behaviour please do.
Sincerely,
Julia DaCost

Mcdonald's St Clair
The burgers look like they have been slapped together. They don't look anything like the pictures advertising the burgers. They do not sit properly, and are always difficult to try and pick up out of the container.
Burger King don't have this problem.
Start going there.

McDonald's bigotry

bigotry of any kind is still bigotry...Orlando McDonald's Manager Allegedly Told Trans Applicant: 'We Do Not Hire F**gots'

A transgendered woman claims that she was denied a job at McDonald's and told "we do not hire ###, " according to a lawsuit filed by the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF) with the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
Seventeen-year-old Zikerria Bellamy applied online for a position as a shift manager or crew leader at an Orlando McDonald's. When she went in for the interview on July 28, Bellamy says a manager forced her to check a box indicating her gender.
"Once I looked at his facial expression, when I checked off male, like the whole face just changed. He was upset. I seen the anger, you know, like you can tell when someone gets upset, " Bellamy said.
She said she was told she would not be granted an interview and received an angry, hateful voicemail from the manager later in the day.
"You went to [indistinguishable] McDonald's today, " the message says. "It doesn't matter how many times you go down there. You will not get hired. We do not hire ###. You lied to me. You told me you was a woman. And then you lied to me. You told me you were seventeen. I can't believe you. You're a lying brother. How could you ever lie to me?"
TLDEF has the voicemail up on its website:

"I just wanted to earn to some money and was willing to work hard at this job. In the current economy, jobs are really hard to find. I never expected to be judged on who I am, instead of being judged on whether I can do the job, " Bellamy said.

That is what it looks like to me, as well LadyScot. Or maybe yet, Irish's theory is for once correct, they OP made this up because they applied for a job and did not get it. Maybe the OP was the one checking male, whe
n she is female.

Why would they want to hire someone who lies about their age and gender, they want honest people working there, people they can trust.

McDonald's nasty - cold food-bad service

On Dec. 6, 2009 about 10pm. I drove around to the drive thur and made 2 purchase order. First of all the cashier was rude and talking nasty while in the mike. I didn't complete my order before he/she told me to pull around. After getting my order my first bite into a filet o fish I gag because it was so much salt on my sandwhich. I pass it to a friend and she agree they add salt to that sandwhich and we all know salt doesn't come on a fish sandwhich. My fries was wet and cold and my parfait was almost milk. Instead of a spoon I used a straw. Bad serves and awful food.

McDonald's employee

I went to McDonalds this morning for a breakfast platter, they were out of sausage, which was not a problem. One of the employees told the person at the register not to take anymore breakfast orders, but we were in line long before the deadline. When the order came, one of the employees made the statement that we should have gotten up earlier if we wanted breakfast. She made this statement to all of the customers that were in there, that is poor customer service. I will not be going to that McDonalds again. The date was 12/6/09 @10:45 am. Thanks

I am a faithful customer for McDonalds. I visit the McDonald's at 801 Dennison Avenue, Birmingham, Al. 35211 almost every morning
This morning about 7:45a.m. I go through the line and order a Fruit Parfait. I stood in line 15min. at the window before the cashier
told me to pull up they had to make some, now 15 mins. later which is actually 30min. now they finally bring out a Fruit Parfait. I ask
the cashier what took so long she answered "Oh they couldnt find any cups to put it in" Now Im late for work. So I get to work LATE! and start to eat my Fruit Parfait and "Bam" the fruits are frozen hard as a rock so now I have to eat around frozen fruits just to put something in my stomach. If I hadnt paid already I would have pulled off this McDonalds is very unprofessional and very rude. From now on I will be making a detour and going 10mins out the way to get my breakfast somewhere else. I am very saddened by this
because I love Mcdonald's breakfast menu but I refuse to be treated this way and pay for it.

If they operated by the "but I was in line before the cut-off time!" they would never get finished serving breakfast. I understand their point.
