I went into a mcdonalds on 16th avenue, n. w.in Calgary, to order a take away breakfast. Whilst I was hanging around, I notice that the person making up the orders had no gloves on while she was making all the food. So when the food came, I told the guy I did not want it now, and then saw a manager, and she said, well sometimes they wear gloves and sometimes they don't, and was not in the least bothered about it.

I also visited a McDonalds that had workers not wearing gloves. I was told the employees wash their hands every hour when a timer goes off and use hand sanitizer if they feel they need to. My problem with this is "when they feel they need to". Washing your hands every hour is not sufficient. I watched my food being prepared. During that time, this worker touched the counter, her uniform, my food, and someone else's food with her hands. How is this okay? It is NOT. Since we can not rely on people to do their job right maybe they should just be required to wear gloves. However, then they may still not use those properly. Maybe my best solution is not eat fast food anymore.

We wash our hands every 30 minutes when an alarm goes off behind the counter. Our hands are probably ten times cleaner then gloves. The only time we have to wear gloves is when we are handling the frozen meat to prevent disease. Please do your research before complaining, you look like a complete idiot.

I was in the Magnolia MacDonald's in New Jersey, last saturday morning ( feb/28) The store # is 16889. Oh lord what a mess, the store was dirty they got two managers talking and sending text messages and doing nothing. They just have one spanish girl in the front counter and she was so busy with a line of 5 or 6 people and they didn't help her. I was so mad cause I work in a department store and sometimes we're so busy but still my manager always got the time to help us with customers. I ask one of the managers ( a blonde girl without nametag) if she can give me my food cause I was late for my job and she said "I'm running for drive thru, they can handle it" THE WORST ATTITUDE... HOW SHE CAN BE A MANAGER?

it's not required for them to wear gloves...the only time they require you to wear gloves is when you cook the food

I think McDonalds should put out recycling bins so that we can recycle and so that we can reuse things. If we just keep throwing out our garbage in those garbage bins our city dump is going to be filled and we won't have a clean and beautiful city! I also think that having recycling bins would be good for every public food resturants because recycling gives us a better environment. Yes, this may cost money but is you want a clean place to live this is the right thing to do!

Lets start Recycling!

The Soody Dasiy Mcdonalds Cant keep emploees,or costmers. When working there they thought I had to put them first, and paying me below minum wage, They never use gloves, and touches the food with there hands I
was also sexaul asulted by a male manager. The mangers who work there should not be managers the emploees would be beter managers then them. Since I quite so has everyone else. Now theres all new empolees. When they wash the dishes all they do is spray them off they have no heigen at all.

Because it isn't mandatory by the health dept. to wear them, gloves are for the employee's protection, not yours, and gloves are just as dirty as hands, since they touch the same things. Please think before your next complaint.
