The MBC Business Centre in Elviria, Marbella, Spain and the restaurant TLC's (Formally Tim le Chef) is part of a group of companies owned by Michael Donald Beskine, a chartered accountant based in the same building. He also owns Buying Power, and the LifeTimes magazine, and just recently the CIB forced his 'Drug Awareness Publishers' company into insolvency. Part of the judgement reads thus:

High Court Orders Closure Of Drugs Awareness Publisher

A London company that "cold called" businesses and used misleading sales practices to solicit business sponsorship of a children's drug, tobacco and alcohol awareness book called "Zack & Ella's Crazy Day" has been wound up in the High Court following an investigation by Companies Investigation Branch (CIB) of the Insolvency Service.

Customers were induced to place orders for multiple copies of the book for distribution to a local junior school of their choice by false statements made during unsolicited telephone calls from the company's self employed telesales team in Spain.
Persistent debt collection methods were then employed to enforce payment.

His modus operandi is consistent throughout all his business dealings with partners, clients and employees. He offers bogus contracts and conditions, then leaves people high and dry. He owes everyone who ever worked with or for him money, and the businesses who rent space from him never get their deposits back, even when the services they pay for leave a lot to be desired.

Averyone who gets contacted by these organisations as potential clients or employees should be very careful.

Indeed, Robert is a DISCUSTED ex-employee, one of 26 (last count) discusted ex-employees. It is damn easier to count the happy ones, one needs only two fingers for that.

On 25 January 2011 The Marbella Court issued judgment against Mr Carmelo Salvatore Firetto (aka Mr Carlo Firetto) finding Mr Firetto had failed to pay any rent what so ever on the De Carlo Restaurant and the Marbella Court ordered Mr Firetto to pay the unpaid rent, to pay his 5 months unpaid electric bills, his rental contract of the Restaurant was terminated by The Court, he was ordered by The Court to vacate the Restaurant and he was ordered to pay the costs of the court case. He appealed by claiming the rent should have been lower than had been claimed, but he lost his appeal and the Judge noted that Mr Firetto had not even paid any of the rent at the lower rate he had claimed was due. Mr Firetto issued a criminal complaint in the Marbella Court alleging the rent claimed was higher than it should have been, but he lost the claim and appealed but he lost the appeal. He appealed to the Malaga court but he lost that appeal. Mr Firetto was later convicted in the criminal court of threatening to kill his landlord and driving his car at his landlord.

Carlos

the reason Mr Beskine was aware of your clients business problems is because he came to see Mr Beskine to ask for Mr Beskine's help because he had no other possible way to save his business which had failed . In the event as you know full well your client decied to shut the business, dismiss all the staff but failed to comply with his obligations to his staff and other creditors and is facing a large claim from them. He has left the juriction to go home and the case against him by his ex staff no doubt will progress in due course. Your client was very frank to Mr Beskine about his business problems and wanted to try to solve it but it was not a business that could be easily saved and that is why it was closed.

Now there is a coincidence, (or not, perhaps). Recently I was asked to verify a contract offered by Donald Beskine to a client of mine. My client was struggling in business, and was approached by Mr. Beskine who offered to become partners. My client grew suspicious and handed the contract to me. Basically it would have been financial suicide if he went ahead with it. Digging a little deeper, I discovered that my client used the same accountant, Granda y Valera, based in Arroyo de la Miel as Mr. Beskine. And here is the shocking part: According to the records of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Valera of Granda y Valera is a partner of Mr. Beskine in Tim Le Chef S.L.

So how did Mr. Beskine find out about the problems my client faced? I will let you be the judge of that.
