Maytag dishwasher, model mdb7749saqo

I purchased dishwasher I July of 2012 we have used this washer approx 40 times only at Xmas and thanksgiving and once a month just to keep it from setting, as of 10-22-2018 it would not work called, service man and he stated it was front control board, buttons would not work, after this amount of time and little use, I feel that those buttons are inferior. Over 200.00 to fix! Will probably not buy and more Maytag products.
Over the years I have always had Maytag products, but will stay away now.

Maytag bravos xl mct washer

bought new in march of 18 had delivered and set up on 18 April of 18 didn't even get 1 wash cycle and control board was bad. about a month ago had a new motor for agitator cause of squealing noise now after 2 weeks new motor is now making grinding noise and clothes are never clean have to call for a repair under warranty again I'm ove this washer spent a 1000 on junk haven't even had it 8 months and have to go to laundry mat to wash our clothes

I have tried everything I could, used less detergent, used two rinse cycles and even tried wetting the clothes before I turn on the machine to try to trick it into thinking I have a heavier load...

Maytag maytag rebate offer #691-2316

on 05/06/2018 we purchased 3 appliances from Home Depo. We bought a Stove (Model # MER6600FZ), Microwave (Model #MMV4206FZ) and a Dishwasher (Model #MDB4949SDE) we bought these particular appliances because there was a rebate which seemed to be very good. Because we bought 3 appliances we qualified for a $250 rebate. I filled everything out and included our receipt and model/serial numbers and mailed it in the next day, 5/7/18 which is what the salesman told us to do. To date 10/23/18 we have yet to receive anything and on top of that the oven on the stove does not heat anymore! After spending almost 2 hours on the phone, mostly on hold, they scheduled a service tech to come out to look at the oven, which they said we would have to pay the service fee for! Then I asked about the rebate...The service person transferred me to the rebate department. I explained everything to the woman, she looked everything up and said, It doesn't look like we received your mail in rebate. I told her when I mailed it in and all of the information that was with it. She said that offer is closed now. I asked her what I should do now, she said it's to bad they didn't get my rebate there is nothing they could do now. I don't know what else to do...We feel lied to, I wonder how many other people they claim to not get their rebates too! On top of it the stove is still broke! We will NEVER purchase Maytag appliances ever again, nor will we purchase appliances from Home Depo again, apparently they don't stand by the companies products that they sell!

Maytag maytag refrigerator and service

We purchased refrigerator back in May and it was delivered damaged. May Tag sent another out two more times both also damaged product. There was dents in the back, the kick plate would not stay in and later after using the refrigerator the shelf brace looks like its bending. The edges of the doors are not finished at all and feel sharp. Both myself and my husband have had it poke us and catch our clothes. Each time I call May Tag I sit on hold for over an hour and once it was for over 90 minutes.

Appliance Repair Specialist who delivered the refrigerators suggested we should accept the damaged product because at least it was running. 3rd time they just showed unexpectedly, we let them know there was no appointment set and it would take us 15 to 20 minutes to clean out the refrigerator. I had just finished cleaning it and went to restroom and the doorbell rang. Once done we went out to let them know they could bring it in and they were gone without delivering the replacement or letting us know they were leaving. I called the company and was told that their boss told them to leave.

At this point I have no idea where we stand. Is someone going to deliver another refrigerator that is not damaged?

If you look at the comments that others have made for both May Tag and Appliance Repair Specialist, you will see many many negative ratings. I am another dissatisfied customer and at this point at a loss at what to do. If I could have returned it for a refund that is what I would have done. This is the worst experience I have ever encountered in both product and service and I have purchased May Tag previously.

Maytag maytag range model no. mgr6600fz and maytag refrigerator model no. mrt711smfb

The above range and refrigerator were purchased at ABC Warehouse in Livonia, Michigan, on July 13, 2018. I read the manuals . I was quite disappointed when the black enamel cooktop began to have a half-moon grayish shape and scaly peeling around the right Xl burner. It was not cleaned with any harsh cleaning agents. I was put in touch with Maytag Platinum Services. The original cooktop was replaced with two different scratched and marred to the metal defective cooktops. Finally, on September 24, 2018, the tech from Platinum Services replaced the cooktop with one he said looked the best from the other choices. I said I knew it was not new because it did not have the Maytag 10 year warranty sticker on it like the original. I accepted the cooktop because the back and forth complaining, appointments, and waiting for the part had taken its toll. This range is poorly designed because the two part grates are heavy and cumbersome. I have tried to be careful removing them, however, I now have several scratches on the front control panel. The grates are too close and have to be removed to clean the stove after each use. A three part grate would have been better to accommodate the fifth burner and a griddle(that was not included). Also, two Xl burners are not necessary. I should have left this range at the store. I only purchased it to match the refrigerator that was replacing another Maytag white refrigerator purchased in 2014. How dependable are Maytag appliances? The shelves on the refrigerator freezer door do not accomodate frozen food items because they slide down in between the rails that hold them. The ledges are too short. (Poorly designed as well). These appliances probably won't last 10 years. I certainly know I will never, never purchase anymore Maytag appliances ever again.

Maytag maytag washer model mvwb765fw1

I waited FORTY min. and still never got to speak with a customer service person on 10/17/18! Today I tried using the website (which by the way was never spelled out by the outgoing message i.e., WHAT IS THE WEBSITE?

I tried using what MAY BE the Maytag website. That also was not helpful.
I NEED TO SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!

I have only had this machine for 7 mos.!

Maytag bravo washer

I purchased a Bravo machine in 2016 never had a problem. I contacted Maytag about having someone come look at it. Water left after spin cycle. The clothes got locked in the washer they told me I have an extended warranty with a company who went out of business yet I'm still they want me to pay for it to be serviced. I'm stuck with a 600 dollar washer that has been used may 20 times since it was purchased. 10 year parts and labor when this is an issue with the make and model of your product. Sounds like a recall should have been did. So it looks like it's time to file a suit. People don't spend money for it to be wasted they spend and purchase based on value for the bucks

Maytag maytag fridge

To Start, after reading some of the complaints and concerns it is a wonder how Maytage is still in business and why we even considered purchasing any products manufactured by them.

With that, we purchased a shiny new Maytag fridge 22 months ago, NOT 22 years ago, only 22 MONTHS, back in late fall of 2017. Since that time we have had the jazz board and the pressure switch (not the technical designation of the part) replaced as they were not under warranty any longer. To a tune of $500.00 in parts and labour, $375.00 in lost food, $1000.00 in lost wages and most importantly our lost TIME . Absolutely wretched product. We would rank the quality and lifespan of our Maytag nightmare fridge somewhere in between rotten fast food Ecoli infused milkshake and that white stuff that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when really thirsty. In essence this is the most expensive cooler we have ever purchased.

Now I understand we are contending with a large corporation whom have no interest in the consumer, only an affinity to appease their board of directors and stock value but at some point these organizations will need to take responsibility for their predetermined poor quality products. The ideology that quality is irrelevant and the consumer is a sucker is not a sustainable model for any business today and cannot be any further glorified as we the consumer, now have more than one media and platform to share our disgusting experiences.

We fully appreciate that we will never receive any restitution from maytag, in fact I would venture a guess that we will never even hear from their organization except perhaps for some condescending and juvenile automated response to this complaint.

But, know this Maytag - if our tenement of fridges completely fails here, which will be within the next 4 months (probably at Christmas when filled with seasonal favourites) considering the ridiculous timeline of issues we have experienced that we will NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER MAYTAG APPLIANCE. NOT PERSONALLY, NOT FOR ANY OF MY RENTAL PROPERTIES, NOT FOR ANY HOMES/HOTELS/BUSINESSES THAT I PARTICIPATE IN THE BUILDING OF- NEVER. We will not even venture in to a retailer that specializes in your product.

What we will do with an unparalleled veracity is we will make sure that we share our experience with every single individual that is willing to listen and many that are not, as well as compose a similar complaint on every available media and form on-line. It is imperative that we do our due diligence and inform as many consumers as possible of the beyond sub-par quality of the product so they do not have to have a similar experience and waste their hard earned money and time. No more easy money for Maytag.

At least your lasted more than 10 days! WE have been without for 7 days and after lies and calls and on hold, we are on the schedule to have the unit replaced...7-10 business days. Poor product, worse customer service, said to say about an American Company.

Maytag stove mer8800fz 1

Good morning,
Just received my new maytag true convection range yesterday and put it too work this morning. I've noticed a couple of issues that are bothersome.
First of all, my bottom drawer won't open if I dont play around with it. It seems to be installed crookedly on the range. Second of all, the cooktop ceramic scratches quite easily. I use the front burner on the left and not only is the heat too strong but it already has scratches on it after first use. My pan was brand new too.
Please write or call me back to guide me as to what's next. It's a pity since I was planning on getting some more Maytag appliances.

Maytag french door ice maker jamming

French Door ice maker jammed with ice, could not remove tray, made loud clunks when trying to retrive ice, after a month of bang on it we got the hair dryer out and had at it! After several mins. It seem to free up the blockage, then we got the tray to release, inspection found the latch broken, plastic junk as always! Removed mechanisn that holds tray in place. Lets see what happens next!

Maytag maytag double-oven valve burners

Since we bought this Maytag product, we have has numerous problems. The most important one is the deficient or I may say "CHEAP" quality of Valve Burners. For last 4 years, we have changed all 5 valve-burners at least once! This cheap part gets busted and does NOT turn after a couple of years. It is extremely dangerous because in 2 separate occasions it happen to bust when the burner was ON, and there was NO safe ways to turn off the burner except by pulling the oven out its location, and shutting the gas line to the oven.

Attached please find the receipts for the last 3 valve-burners (part#W10206288) that I have purchased from Amazon since April 23th, 2018.

I expect compensation and also full refund on the parts from Maytag or Whirlpool as their courtesy to the Customers. I also expect a response soon before I have to escalate this problem to the next level.

Maytag service is terrible

My new Maytag washer purchased in May will not go to the rinse cycle consistently. I have contacted Maytag many times. At first a repair person came on three separate visits but it still had the problem. The last two times I contacted them (besides today) they said service was scheduled, but no one showed. Today I finally got a supervisor, and he said there is nothing he can do, but that service is once again scheduled. He also said if they do not show or if it still won't work my only recourse is to call Maytag and request service again.

To Whom It May Concern,

The purpose of this letter is twofold:
1) To voice my disappointment in your product
2) To voice my disappointment in your partnership with a certain repair service

I was looking to purchase an upright freezer and after talking with several people I was comfortable with purchasing a Maytag in 2015. In July 2018 the freezer began to make a loud noise when the fan would come on. On July 24th, 2018 I made my first call to your customer service dept. At this point I was pleased with the response time of my call, as well as the quickness that I received a service appt. The repairman showed up as scheduled and stayed for about 15 mins. He informed me that ice had built up behind the panel and this was a common problem with this model. This visit cost me $90. In less than 2 weeks the problem occurred again. Once again I called your customer service dept. This time I was on hold for 30 mins, which in itself is unacceptable, only to have your customer service dept. suggest that I called the service repair shop myself and set up a new appointment. At this point I voiced my opinion about the repair shop that your company is partnered with. I went on the internet and learned that this shop has very poor reviews and complaints have been filed against them with the BBB. I was told that this is the only company in my area and I could find someone else but your company could not help me with this. I asked him if he thought I would have to pay another service fee if I used the same repair shop and he could not assure me that I would not. I suggested HE needed to call this repair shop and set up a new appt. and make sure the only charge would be if a new part was put on the freezer. Another appt. was scheduled with no charge. The repairman said he had not thawed out the ice all the way and this was causing the problem again. It is now 3 weeks since that service and the same problem is happening again. This time I stopped by the repair shop myself since it is located about 2 miles from my house. The repairman said he did not know what the problem was but he would talk to his boss and call me back to schedule a new appt. It is now 4 day later and I have not heard from them. The noise is getting louder and my fear is whatever is going on will eventually cause the freezer to stop working altogether and I will lose all my frozen food. I feel my only option is to find someone else to work on it which will cost me another service fee. I do not think this is fair since the repair shop that your company is associated with and recommends them to do work did not fix it the two times they came out.
In closing, I believe it is of the upmost importance that a company stands behind the product they sell. It should be a priority to insure that they provide great customer service. I hope this letter makes it way to someone who feels the same way. I am going to give your company an ample amount of time to respond before I go any further. Rest assure if I don't hear from your company I will make sure to voice my concerns elsewhere. I have provided my address and here is my phone # [protected]. I do look forward to hearing from someone soon.

P.S. Before mailing this letter I was contacted again by the repair service. On 9/12 the repairman came out one more time. This time he told me it had to be a problem with the drain line. He was here for 15 mins. which in that time he defrosted the ice from the freezer. He told me that he was going to go back to his shop and look up the cost of a new drain line. He was going to call me back with a price before he ordered it. To the day of 9/24/18 I have not heard from him nor his repair shop. At this point I have made a decision to purchase a different freezer from a different company.
I was asked what I wanted to accomplish from this letter. As stated before I want you to know the disappointment I have in your product as well as the association your company has with a repair service that has such poor customer service. I work hard for my money and I do not mind paying to have something repaired if the need be, however to pay $90 and the problem still exist is unacceptable. I feel that the most honorable thing for your company to do is to find a way to refund me the money that I have spent since the problem was never solved.

Maytag stay away from model mhw8100dc

Yesterday I was using my washer (small load of clothes), I was with my baby in the laundry room when suddenly there was a horrible noise and the door of the washer opened, he hit my back, something fatal could have happened. I do not know how it happened but a piece of concrete was inside the drum. I do not want to imagine what would have happened if that piece came out and hurt my baby. I spoke to the company and explained what had happened to me, but they do not want to be responsible for what happened because the washer is in Tijuana (border with San Diego), I bought the washer in Pirch San Diego California in 2015.

MAYTAG UNITED STATES IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS DEFECT.

Don't buy this model: MHW8100DC extra large capacity washer with steam and powerwash® system-4.5 cu. Ft.

Beware of this washer, there are more people who have had the same problem.

Maytag washer, refrigerator, microwave

Purchased all 3 Maytag appliances, 5 years ago, Maytag microwave was services 5 times first 6 months of ownership, in addition the Maytag refrigerator freezer, ice machine, hasn't worked in 2 years, the maytag washer constantly goes out of balance, as you can see from the pictures attached is rusting in the bleach section, what a bunch of crap,
Would like to trade in all 3 Maytag appliances, for some kind of cash credit and purchase better quality appliances, totally unhappy with all these Maytag products, they are junk, no quality whatsoever

Bought all 3 Maytag, appliances just 5 years ago, microwave serviced 5 time in the first 3 months of ownership, icemaker died at 3 years, now washer is rusting, and constantly goes out of balance, this Maytag appliances package is crap, I would like some kind of financial credit, return these 3 items, and buy something to replace them with quality, Maytag products are crap

Maytag maytag washer mvwb765fc

Washer will not fill. Second purchase on model since December 2017 with same issue.
Our most recent purchase was on January 10, 2018 broke on September 1, 2018. We contacted Maytag and Sears and they explained the earliest repairman would arrive on September 28, 2018.
Again, both purchased cause was not filing with water. Obviously the washer is defective and has caused us great concern. We contacted Maytag, Sears, Lowe's with the issue. We purchased extended warranties as well as SEARS Service Plan and the manufacturers 10 yr. warranty. It takes nearly three weeks to get a repair person to respond and will probably take that long again to get a repair part. Through errors in billing, the second purchase cost over $150 just to get a new washer. At our age, it is, again, challenging to gather up our laundry and find a laundrymat.
Maytag apologized and offered a $40 gift certificate for our troubles. Again, no laundry and clearing our schedule for when they may show up.
Tough way to do business Maytag-Sears.

Maytag washing machine

On July 28th, 2018 I purchased a Maytag washing machine and dryer.
The washing machine was delivered and the new hoses (I was forced to buy) was never installed. 2 weeks later the washing machine stoped working. I called the store I purchased from and they told me to call costumer service. I did.. they said the pictures showed the hose was indeed never instaled and were charged. They scheduled a service repear a few weeks AFTER the phone call. On SEPTEMBER 11th, the service finally came. After 2 minutes, the worker said the machine was irreperable and they (home depot) would schedule for Maytag to come and exchange the machine. Obviously, all this is in between countless phone calls, holds and days off I had to take from work to wait for the works.
Of course, home depot never called me back. When I called, they stated nobody had contacted them. Fast forward anothee hour they finally said this was not their responsability and I should call Maytag for the service (OVER A MONTH LATER!)
I have yet to resolve this issue with Maytag.
The lack of responsability, costumer service and respect from Home Depot was something I had NEVER experienced before.
I hope to get this issue resolved and get compensaded accordindly!

Maytag refrigerator

I purchased a maytag stove in march 2018. We are in the middle of a kitchen reno so the stove had just sat in the box for a couple months. While unboxing, we noticed the handle was damaged/hanging off. We contacted maytag and the repairman came. First time couldn't fix it had to order the part. Second time after coming with the part, he broke the part while trying to install it. Third time he made the appointment, then showed up 3 hours early before we got off work to make it home. I'm sorry but that's incompetence. I purchased a maytag fridge from lowe's in april 2018. The icemaker began to make noise so we put in a service call. Not only were we given one time, and the repairman came at a completely different time for the appointment, but they sent the same guy we do not want because he doesnt fix the appliance. And this is after I was assured they were sending someone else. Then when I questioned this and was frustrated (I mean, I do take off work for this), I got told by a supervisor that it was too bad and he's not helping me at all and hung up on me. So this is what I paid extra for? To be mistreated and lied to? Good job maytag. I will never purchase another product from you. And I will warn everyone I know, along with whoever will listen about you and your lack of integrity so no one gets treated like this.

Bought a gas cooktop from The Brick 4 days ago, the cooktop came with no diffuser(caps for the gas burners). I called the Brick who advised me that the manufacturer had the part in stock and that it would be shipped immediately and it would delivered with 3-5days. Now noting that Thanksgiving is four days away, on the 4day when I did not receive the part I followed up based on the tel number and ref# provided. Only to be told that the part is on backorder, they don’t know when they’re getting it and that “O well, mistakes happen”. So I bought a brand new stove that cannot be used. She (Michaela) of Maytag/Whirlpool even went so far as to advise that they will not accep the unit back and that I’ll just have to wait for the part. I asked how long and she stated she did not know. I wish I had read all the reviews before making such an investment. For a brand that was known for its reliability and service, this is a sad commentary and how far down the slope this company has fallen. I am now looking into my next course of action. I am done with Maytag.

Maytag washer - mvwc565fwo-c65144807-w10240523

This product and customer service is horible.

i bought the washer in 02/28/2017- on 09/12/2018 the washer just stop working. Called customer service who advise they will send a technician out. Techinician advised me that the transmission and sensors are gone and needs to be replaced. The total repair cost is over $800 when i paid less than $1000 for the machine.

This is a rip off. the product is garbage and this company does not stand by its brand. I will never gain buy this band or encourage anyone to buy it. My previous washer lasted over 14 years with no trouble. i only changed it because i wanted a bigger load capacity. What a big mistake that was.
