Max Colon Deceptive trade practice

Add me to the very long list of people who fell for this scam hook, and line, and sinker. I READ the Terms & Conditions and was still soaked for almost $100. They will lie to you. It is all but impossible to reach them before your 15 days are exhausted. I join all yall. Let's link arms and create for these internet cockroaches a public relations nightmare the likes of which they never imagined. Google "bloosky" to find other interesting ways people are being scammed with *FREE offers. They are the marketing slime behind most of what is going on.

Max Colon Returned their Product they won't refund

I bought the "trial" version and did cancel it within their ridiculous 15 day trial period. They charged my card anyway and won't refund it PLUS! They sent me 2 more bottles and charged my card...I refused the shipment and they say because I didn't send it back with some RMA number on it (and pay for the return shipping) they can't prove they have it and will not refund the money for the two that I don't have! I have spent weeks fighting with them and I keep getting the same emails over and over and they don't care. This is ridiculous and is absolutely a scam! I will tell whoever I can NOT TO EVER GET CAUGHT UP IN THESE SCAMS! I'm looking for more websites to place this on if you can help me - find it!

i too feel as tho the terms were very misleading. I also was rudely responded to by email when asked why i would not get a full refund if i returned the unopened product. Now i returned the product along with my RMA number and tried to call them to see if it was recieved and the number is no longer in service. They are nothing but scam artist as far as im concerned.

Max Colon no product received/charged my Visa account for shipping and handling

I ordered on 4-8-09 a trial of Max Colon for 5.95 plus 1.00 handling fee. to my Visa account. I did not recieve the product as of 4-22-09 and called and spoke to Michelle at customer support.
I was told my correct address was INCORRECT and they shipped the bottle to an address of Houston, Ohio 45333 on 4-20-09.
I requested to cancel the order and refund my money and I was told I had to e-mail [protected]@ maxcolon.com. I ask to speak to her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor and she could not give me any mor information. Please refund my 6.95 to my Visa account please. This a total scam and refuse to give up on getting my money back.

I placed the order on 4/21/09. i contacted customer service. The young man i spoke with was not very helpful. He said that I would have to contact the billing department at support@maxcolon.com so that is what i am doing . I would like to cancel this account now. I also would like a refund of my total shipping charges to the credit card i provided when i made the order. I want no future charges. I do not wish to have this product re-shipped. I am very upset . I do want to cancel this subsciption and a full refund of all charges. If you have any questions contact [protected] or [protected].

Max Colon 15-day trail is a scam

Max Colon is a SCAM. Not only do they remove funds from your account, the PRODUCT does not work. I repeat: the PRODUCT does not work. All their internet blogs are scams. I was stupid to have fallen for this even though the bottle reads "the product has not been evaluated by the food and drug administration". Their terms and conditions are hiden when purchasing. They claim that their terms and conditions states you have a 15-day trail from the time of purchase, the product arrives at your posseseeion 5 days after purchase... and they expect you to decide if the product works for you in 10days or less? SCAM SCAM SCAM. They got me this time. Don't fall for it. Same thing goes for ACAI BERRY Detox and all other products of sort.

Max Colon MAX COLON COLON CHARGED ME 89.95 ON 15 DAY OF FRE TRIAL PERIOD

By email, Max Colon offered a free bottle with a 15 day supply of colon cleanser, that required me to only pay shipping.
it came after 5 days in the mail. I started the capsules on 3/16/09. After trying them for seven or eight days I realized they didn't work to clean me out . The pills caused me to have a lot of gas but I had no bowel movements. I had to take other laxatives, like Ducolax and Mira Lax.
On the tenth day of trying the pills, I decided to check my account to find it was overdrawn because they had charged my account for $89.96 for a 30 day order of their colon cleaner. I called them without any success. Max Colon said it was too late for me to cancel my membership which started on 3/11/09 when I ordered the free bottle. The charge was put on my card on the 15th day!
On 3/30/09 I received two bottles of the colon cleanser they had charged me for on the 3/26/09. On 3/31/09 I mailed the bottles back to them and I am waiting for a refund.
Max colon cleansers are a scam! Do not fall for it.

I have been refunded all money after I contacted the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and my bank, because I used my bank debit card. All followed through with a complaint but my bank was the vocal one with the company and they were very thorough. Don't give up.

I to am going through this same situation. However, I ordered Max Colon on April 30 and cancelled on May 14 which is within 15 days. The problem is they processed my cancellation on May 15 and sent me the next shipment for 89.95. I am so angry because I ordered the product at the same time of day that I cancelled the product yet my cancellation reflects the next day! How is this legal! I have tried for 3 days now to get the appropriate information for return and refund with no success. I keep getting that I did not cancel within the 15 days but the supposed RMA# (return #) has so far been denied to me. The terms and conditions states that you can be refunded on any shipment as long as it is within the 15 days. Since, they have not given me the return information, then I am sure they are trying to use up 2nd shipments 15 days. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau to see if there is anything that can be done about this problem. I am waiting for their reply.

The TERMS AND CONDITIONS found on the MAX COLON website state: "Upon ordering, you agree to pay the shipping and handling fees for the free trial bottle (and if you) simply do nothing...you will be sent another fresh 30 day supply of Max Colon (2 bottles). The form of payment that you used to order the trial will be billed...for a total of $89.95.

And their web site also states that the time required for shipping (5-7 days) is INCLUDED in the 15 day "free trial". Of course none of this information is present in all of their marketing materials; it is found at the bottom of their order page under "TERMS AND CONDITIONS"

Buyer Beware: SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

Max Colon bank account charged $89.95

website offers free trial but "automatically ships" product and charges $89.95 on your credit card. When you ask the company for a refund they tell you you only have 15 days from the day you place the original order to cancel. You have to request a return authorization and cancel future automatic shipments. This is stated in a vague and misleading manner on the web-site. .. they make it sound like you can send it back for a refund but when I tried, they refused saying If I had only read their policy when I agreed to it like thousands of other "satisfied customers" I would have known this...but I did read the fine print it was worded so ambiguously I failed to realized they meant 15 days from when I placed the original order. I went back on their web-site and looked for their return/refund policy and had trouble even finding it, it was so not obvious that I can only conclude they are intentionally misleading consumers.

The same exact scam happened to me where you pay S & H only for a 15 day trial, but lo and behold on the 15th day they charge your account 89.95 and refuse a refund even when I sent the product back (which was received the same day). What a bunch of lowlives. I will complain to every possible organization, the more people that complain, the more likely something will be done. I plan on contacting the BBB, the FTC, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center and the Attorney General's office in CA where they are based. I also will be contacting the media and every other complaint organization that I can find.

I too was the one to go for the trial offers...I cancled within the 15 days trial, and still charged for $89.95. I have listened to their music for 10 minutes, and then I'm cut off.
I have tried email and nothing has worked. I followed all the rules for canceling and got stuck. Well, I guess by following the rules it helped with my dispute.
I just got off the phone with my CREDIT CARD. I filled a dispute and charges will be reversed. Please dispute your charges as this gives the credit card company something to work with. When they reverse the charge to MaxColon it costs MaxColon money. So by all means dispute the charge.

To Whom This May Concern;

Hello, my name is Deborah white, and I had placed a order about three weeks ago, so I called on May 26, 2009 to let the person know that I spoke with that I didn't receive my maxcolon and they stated to me that it wasn't mail out because I didn't have any funds in my account to cover it, so I stated to that person that I wanted to cancle, so today I called my bank and account is overdrawn in the amount $89.95, and I didn't understand, so once again I called max colon and they stated to me that a bottle was mailed out to day . I do not want it, and I also want my money back on my card because I cancle this, and it should not have been sent to me . My name is Deborah White, and my address is 1623 Northgate Rd. Baltimore, md 21218, and my e-mail address is deborahwhite1963@yahoo.com, and my phone # is (443) 514.6227 please take care if this matter all I want is my money back. Thanks!

Max Colon has deceptive marketing practices. They lure you online with a free trial offer but they are really hooking you into an automatic monthly charge of $89.90. Once you realize this and want to cancel they are nowhere to be found. They don't answer their phone or email requests. They say you can get a refund within 15 days of receiving the product but you have to send the product back with an RMA number. You can't get an RMA number because you can not contact them. Their phone number is disconnected and they don't respond by email. It's a scam!

I responded to a free trial offer for Acai Berry and a colon cleanser. Before I had a chance to cancel, My credit card was charged $89+ from max colon. I was able to cancel from Acai Berry right away. I attempted to call to speak to a customer service individual from max colon and was never able to speak to anyone. I would be on hold for 8-10 minutes and the phone would automatically hang up. People beware of MAX COLON. Thievery is still out there via the internet. Hence, MAX COLON!

Company charged $89.95 - which I never expressly authorized. Will not respond to repeated request for refunds. I am going to complain to BBB in California, the advertisers who had this useless and deceptive product on their website and to all who will listen. DO NOT sign up for their 'free trial' If their product was beneficial, they wouldn't have to resort to such deceptive business practices. I want a refund and no further products from this company. Charges disputed and I will use the multiple complaints on this website as a reference with my bank. This business is rude when you try to deal with them.
