Tires installed on 4-6-2019! Waited three and a half hours for installation! My son checked tires and the wrong tires were put on and also on the wrong sides! Told to come back on 4-8-2019 and they would make things right and give a free oil change! This time there two and half hours. They up graded tires they said because of trouble. Mavis Discount Tire tires/ rude, false information etc, etc,

We went to Mavis April 24th to replace 2 tires from potholes which were insured. They weren't able to get the tires for several days. When we asked the manager why he informed us that we had bought [censored] TIRES. These being the same tires we bought there for years on the recommendation of the previous manager. When we finally were able to pick up the car the same manager who told us they had been selling us [censored] tires for years informed us that he put one of the same tires back on our car with the other one being different and more exspensive. He never asked us if that was what we wanted. So now we have 3 [censored] tires on our car, in the managers words. One totally different tire that he put on without our approval and more exspensive. And to top all this off he wasn't insuring our tires anymore. This is how you treat one of your best customers for over 10 years? The Long Beach New York shop is totally unprofessional, rude and a ripoff

Mavis Discount Tire diagnosed my brakes

I brought my vehicle to Mavis tires on State Street in Schenectady New York because there was a squealing sound in my right front tire. got a call back from the manager told me that I need a new brakes new calipers and new rotors it would cost somewhere around $800. I needed to get a second opinion so I brought it to my son's mechanic he told me there was absolutely positively nothing wrong with any of my brakes pads calipers or rotors. He said they 100% tried to screw you. I will no longer retaking my vehicle to Mavis and I will post this on my websites throughout the area.

Jennifer, was very rude with me when I did not want to purchase for tires. Jason quote me a price of $250 for the two tires that I wanted on April 23 2019. Jennifer quote me a price for the same tires $295. This happened the next a April 24, 2019. She behavior is on Unexpectedly. I told her thank you and left the location. I ended up a different tire company with better service.

Mavis Discount Tire sale price / yokohama ascend gt

Mavis discount tire - false advertising

On 4/16/19 I search for tire for my car online. I was looking for a set of 215/55/16 tire size.
I dicided on a set of yokohama ascend gt
The on line price was $110.99 with a rebate offer four 4 tire purchase. I proceeded on to make my appointment online for the patchogue store.
I went to my appointment on sat 4/20/19 and the service man stated the tire price was $129.99 per/tire. I quessed the price defferent and was told, $110.99 was a web purchase price, buy not store price?
I made the appointment online, and on my receipt states processed by web. If it was processed by web then it should be the web price of $110.99 per/tire.

Mavis Discount Tire wheel damage during install and other

This is the second time I've gone to mavis and been disappointed! The first time last yr I went i ordered a set of 35" mud tires that were supposed to be installed at mavis however it took hours to complete due to the fact nobody told us they couldn't remove the rear wheels when they discovered the issue After watching the young kid struggle and toss stuff around the entire process! We ended up driving home with 2 new tires installed and 2 old ones still on, we ended removing the rear tires ourselves, I was shocked that a tire shop couldn't figure it out but my husband with little tools managed! I Wanted to give mavis a second chance we returned this year for an understandably large 37" tire the tires were what we wanted however we were not informed that these wouldn't fit properly on the tire machine when they offered to mount and balance them, we were informed balancing may be an issue once we arrived to have it done we said that wasn't an issue we would have to go else where to have it done... After putting our tire on the machine and getting half a turn onto the rim something went pop swung and damaged the coating on a $260 rim straight out of the box! We were told everything was included and was $999.96 total for tires install and balance, I was expecting total to be total! They did not include the extra costs and they said they took off the balancing and install price but did not give anything back for a brand new damaged rim... We tried to be plesant and not argue as a man in the shop said "I'm sure that's coming out of my paycheck!, my husband became upset and didn't want to make a scene with other people waiting, nobody offered us anything for the damage and we just wanted to leave at this point. We still left paying over $1000 for just tires, when we were told it was 999.96 total no mention of any extra cost, with the tires on the bed of the truck and a scratched up rim! Very disappointed and honestly if you can't mount or balance a large tire dont offer too! It would have saved us a lot of time and headache we thought ordering and installing at the same place made sense it proved wrong once again! We ended up going to a local garage and they had 0 issues installing these tires with what appeared to be lower quality gear... I just thought mavis would have offered somthing! We would have had something decent to say however both experiences left us dissapointed.

Mavis Discount Tire new tires and price... unethical and I want a refund for the overcharge.

I purchased two new tires for our dodge ram truck at this brick location. After having them put on our bill came to approximately 540.00. Yesterday I again took our dodge ram truck for 2 more new tires to a different mavis location. This time to the location on route 37 in toms river, which was such a more pleasant experience. Aside from the better atmosphere, this location only charged me 330.00 for two new tires and putting them on. I was overcharged by 200.00 at the brick location. I want the overcharge refunded. I will never return to that location and will deter people from going to that one. I also applaud your toms river location for being a better business.

Mavis Discount Tire appointment.

I set up an appointment on line select my tire and show up on time. I request to wait for the service.
I come in and it turns out there is no appointment scheduling priority. I am on line behind every one that showed up ahead of me. Had I known this- I would have made alternate plans to get dropped off or better yet- home elsewhere.
Although it is before a storm- what's the purpose of online appt making.

The assistant manager at the Union Rd store in Cheektowaga NY should not be dealing with the public. Rude, cocky, snippy and sarcastic. I didn't even have a full conversation with him while he snapped at me and furthermore I was with a friend who had an appointment at same time and he was very cocky and sarcastic with her. Never again and so bad that I normally don't say anything but felt this was totally out of line and extremely rude. He went as far as to state he was very good at his job. .
No I beg to differ!

I had same happen with a scheduled appointment for an inspection at the Union Rd store in Cheektowaga NY. Also very snippy Danny who stated he has no control over what the company does. Been going to Mavis for years. I am done totally turned off and disgusted.

Mavis Discount Tire oil change

I went in for an oil change and they told me I needed new lugs on my newly installed tires. they said that they are worn out and I asked why was I not told when the new tires were installed 3 months ago and when I got a flat 1 month ago. I kept the old lugs and the Ford dealer told me they are perfectly fine. I paid for service not needed and received bad customer service and parts that are below standard.

Mavis Discount Tire charged for wheel alignment I did not ask for

purchased 4 new tires and asked to be balanced and mounted they charged me for wheel alignment I did not ask for Is this usual practice of Mavis tire to charge people for services they did not ask for Have never had a problem. I contacted customer service and local mavis dealer no response this constitutes theft of services I would like a full refund plus taxes charged. I have done a lot of business with local dealer nevr hadan issue!

Mavis Discount Tire car vibrations

I went to Mavis discount tire located in upper glens street, new york. I told them my car is vibrating whenever i am going above 50mph so they replaced my all 4 tires. I took a test drive and the problem was still there. I went back to them so they diagnose my car again and found that it was their mistake because they did not do the tire balancing because they forgot to calibrate their machine. So they balanced my tires then again i took a test drive and my car was still vibrating. I went back to them again and this time they said your tires are balanced but you have a problem with struts. So this time they replaced all 4 struts. Same thing happened i took a test drive and car was still vibrating. I went back to them again and thia time they said your rear steel rim is bad so i ordered rim and this time they said we dont have time and they were very rude. So i go to walmart and get my rim replaced. But again my issue was not resolved. My car is still vibrating eventhough i have spent 1300 dollars. I told them i have to go Canada please get my car fixed but their attitude was very bad so in the end i have to rent enterprise car to go Canada. Please tell me what should i do, they failed to properly diagnose my car and cost me thousandsof dollar and still my car is not fixed.

Mavis Discount Tire purchased new snow tires, but regular tires were never put in car.

On Friday November 16th, my daughter dropped her car off for a Saturday morning pick up to have 4 new snow tires put on in the East Greenbush/Rensselaer NY store. She made sure to mention that she wanted to keep the 4 tires being replaced. Those tires were not placed in her car and she was told they were in the trunk. I do not know the make or brand of the replaced tires. 215/50 R 17. I spoke with Joe 3xs yesterday being told he would call me back, he never called back, This morning, November 19th I called and spoke with Rodney, who told me he would look for them, Rodney did call back, asked me the brand and all I had to give him was the tire size being told again he would call back soon. This is unacceptable and I want those tires returned or a new comparable sized set for her 2017 Ford Focus

7th time calling 13:30 November 20th. Spoke to a different Manager named Ed. Ed had NO idea what I was talking about. So that means, Joe, Rodney and Ed have no idea where my daughters tires are, well they do know they were not placed in her car... So now I have to go over there on my time, instead of someone calling me back, saying it was a simple mistake on their part and that they will gladly make this right. Me saying I will go to another tire shop in the future means nothing. That is not the point. Unbelievable to give someone the run around like this. Also what good is this site if no one from corporate even bothers getting back to the customer? Maybe the Sorbaro's are to busy to pay attention to their customer base ? Unbelievable

Day 4 of trying to get in touch with someone who has more pull than the floor sweeper is proving futile to say the least. No I am waiting for the Store Manager to call me back. Screw this I will drive over there after work. I will drive over there after work and be nice and polite and listen to their psychobabble BS. Unbelievable.

Well I just had to call back again - 6th time calling and was told that there are so many tires to go through and most likely will not find them until tomorrow morning. For all that is holy just give me a matching size set and be done with it, this is insane. MAVIS never again

Mavis Discount Tire broken original air pressure sensor when installing new tires air pressure dash board light never went out

on 10/31/2018 I had bought four new tires installed at mavis discount tires 123-11 rockaway blvd s, ozone park ny 11420--when they installed tires they said they broken one of the air pressure sensors--they installed the wrong type sensor made of rub board light stays on.two times I was there to fixs the problem, many people tried to fix the problem to no avail. Toyota changed the sensor in question and registed the sensors { programed} and the dash light went out the mavis bill was $ 1, 107.32 cust ro#syc:[protected] other numbers 434-[protected] operator #9997 Toyotas bill $ 322. 31 I`m requesting a refund of this amount $322.31---Toyotas control #094655 hillside Toyota 139-65 queens blvd jamica ny 11435 went there 11/12/2018. thankyou

Mavis Discount Tire repairs 2004 chrystlar concorde sle

I dropped my car off the 2nd week in October to Mavis. I told them the car is leaking fluids, every 10 miles or so, I have to stop and refill. A.J. the mechanic, told me he would call me in a few days to discuss price etc.. He did call me and gave me an outstanding price saying the labor entailed 5 hours. I was not happy but needed to get the repairs done. 2 weeks later Patty, called me and said I need to pick my car up that the Manager wanted it gone. I asked how much do I owe you? Patty responded there is no charge. I went to pick up the car and noticed no work was done. I talked to Jesse, the Manager, and he said A.J. relayed that I didn't want to have the car fixed. So, once again I was told they would call me when it was ready. It was a little over a week and Patty reached out to me again. This time she was very rude and yelling on my voicemail. I called Mavis back and was very upset over this message left for me. I was put on hold till the Manager came on the phone. I told him I had an er at my phone and didn't appreciate what was said. Manager apologised and took money off my bill so I would pay a little over 500.00. Two days later, I was dropped off at Mavis to get my car and they apologised and just charged me $400.00. I was leaving when I noticed the fluids were all drained out. I immediately went inside to get someone. Jesse had it put in the bay, about an hour later, I was told it needed to have a clamp tightened. So, yesterday after they did this I left in my car and once again it was leaking power steering flood worse then before. I called Mavis and he told me to bring it back in the am. Now this morning, Patty calls to see how I made out. She had no idea this happen and told Me AJ was off today Nov.10th. I still drove back down only to be told I needed to wait because they were calling AJ to come in and repair my vehicle. I sat their over 2 hours and was told it couldn't be done that I'd have to wait a few days for parts. I am furious because they were going to charge me again for labor when I already paid and this was not my fault so I said I will pay for the parts and have a friend of mine put it in my 2017 GMC Terrain. At that point, I canceled my appt to get new tires even after AJ said I only needed to pay for tires and he would put them on for free. I will never go there again after this and not recommend Mavis to service family/friends vehicles . I shouldn't be charged anything when this was not my fault.
