Castellon Plastic Surgery Center review: Terrible service 20

I had a double mastectomy on April 9, 2019. Dr Castellon did reconstruction with expanders. Infection set in (He didn't change my antibiotic until 4 days after receiving the results of the infection). I was hospitalized for 5 days. Then expander was taken out & he gave me a hematoma (which he didn't want to tell me about - the infectious disease Dr told me). He popped an expander which required another surgery. 1 1/2 yrs - final surgery - scars almost across my entire chest and under both breasts. Follow up was 2 days later. I asked why he put another 4" scar on me when he had gone through the same scar the last time, he proceeded to yell, cuss and tell me that he can't ask my permission to do everything. Called me a cosmetic B#%ch and the I should be thanking him for saving me from breast cancer. He's not even the surgeon that removed the breast cancer. He was very unprofessional and demeaning. FYI- DON'T ask him questions. He just says, "Just trust me". Don't!

I would be interested in getting together with all the people who trusted this quack and ended up paying to be disfigured by him. We can do something about it together. [protected]

If you want to be disfigured and then ignored, Castellon is your man!

My sister was diagnosed with Brady cancer in November 2009. She had a complete mastectomy with Dr castellon who also put the spacers in and did the reconstructive surgery. To this day the breasts are uneven. Noticeably uneven. The nipple reconstruction was horrendous. Staff always acted as if they were doing us a favor. My sister had very good insurance as she was a school teacher at the time yet, additional non covered surgeries were suggested.. I wouldn't recommend this man for surgery on anything more than a mannequin.. Plus, he looks like he's had far too many surgeries himself. They're more interested in pushing products and Botox than servicing patients.

I went to Dr Castellon in 2012 and spent $20, 000.00 there. I got a tummy tuck, mastopexy lift, and breast implants. Well first he was about two hours late to surgery and then I feel like the lift was NOT done and now one of my implants are getting smaller and deformed. I went to him and low and behold it is going to cost me 10, 000.00 to fix. Come on that is crazy. He took down my before and after picture go figure but I have it myself. I am going to the news with this it is not right at all. I am very upset. He could have been a good person and fixed it for free but no it's the ego

Dr. Castellon is only out for the money. I had Cool Sculpting performed on 7 locations for a cost of $4200 and it did NOT work. 3 locations were treated twice 6 months after the initial treatment because no results were visible. After the 2nd treatment, I was told the manufacture of the equipment (Zeltiq) is now recommending doing more frequent intervals instead of waiting 6 months as I was originally told. Was I the guinea pig? What about the clinical trials? Dr. Castellon did nothing to correct situation. I HIGHLY suggest you do not use this office unless you want to throw away money. I have used Dr. Lawler for breast augmentation and only have wonderful things to say about his office and staff.

Its hard to believe all of the negative comments here are authentic. My experience with Dr. Castellon and his office was amazing!I was hesitant about having cosmetic surgery but when I went to Dr. Castellon I knew that I had made the right decision. His entire staff is amazing- they communicated with me and followed up with me every step of the way...they answered all of my questions, showed me before and afters of other patients that looked FANTASTIC, and helped me with financing. I went to 2 other doctors for consultations as well-but my experience with Dr. Castellon and his staff was so much better, it was easy to choose to have my surgery with him. It has been 4 months now and I look and feel better than i ever expected. The best advice that I could give someone is to definitely see Dr. Castellon for a consultation when you are deciding about having cosmetic surgery...and to not procrastinate! I wish I would not have waited so long-this is the best thing I have ever done for myself

I went to Dr. Castellon for a tummy tuck, breast lift and breast implants. First off he was two hours late to surgery. I say there scared and confused. I paid $18, 000.00 to fix these imperfections. I realized that my before and after pictures of my breast looked off. My breast were in the same spot they were before I got this so called lift. There is no way there was a lift done. I went to him and asked him what was wrong, well in so many words I have to pay another $7, 500.00 to fix his mistake. I was shocked. Why should I have to pay for something that was not done in the first place. I started a face book page. Surgery went wrong. If anyone is interested in trying to do something please feel free to go to that page. You should not have to pay all this money and not be happy for what you paid for. I will never recommend him to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Castellon and the Castellon Plastic Surgery Center for the past 2 years. I am always so happy with my results after Dr. Castellon injects me with Botox. He listens to my needs and addresses all my problem areas on my face. He has perfected my eye brow arches so they look perfectly natural for face. My forehead and around my eyes are virtually wrinkle free. He keeps me looking youthful! Dr. Castellon is a compassionate plastic surgeon and I am very impressed with his expertise. Carol, his nurse practitioner is great too! She does my Juvederm around my mouth and literally erases my laugh lines. She also does my CoolSculpting. She is an expert at treating my problem areas in my tummy; I no longer have a pooch or love handles! The rest of Dr. Castellon's staff are also great! They are courteous, professional and always very helpful. I will continue to go back to his office for years and years to come for all of my plastic surgery needs.

It is a crime that this 'surgeon' is allowed to practice.

Terrible! I had breast augmentation with the doctor. He used the only implants I specifically said I didn't want, after assuring me he wouldn't. I have 2 completely different sized breasts, nipples pointing in opposite directions and the nipple in the substantially smaller breast has now become inverted. The price of this procedure was supposed to be $7, 000.00. I have received over $500.00 in separate billing from the surgery center he uses. The doctor and his staff have completely ignored my complaints and virtually told me tough luck on the extra billing, that they had miscalculated. Oops. I will be filing complaints with the medical board and looking into a malpractice suit if I am not refunded every dime in the near future. I now have to go through this whole procedure again to fix his work. Don't make my mistake, find another doctor!

Of course the machine does all the work, but before you treat the well trained and educated Coolsculpting staff conducts the consultation. The expertise of the consultation determines what areas can be treated in order to contour the body correctly. That's the point to non-invasive verses surgery! The doctor preforms surgery at the hospital and the trained Nurse Practionier does the Coolsculpting at the practice. The doctor was in the hospital preforming reconstructive surgery, so was he to leave his breast cancer patient lying there to treat your friend? It was an unfortunate day given half of the practice was out with the FLU. It's even more unfortunate that a patient would say " how is that my problem" and refuse to reschedule when the practice was more than willing to give her whatever day would work for her. As for the staff, very kind, thoughful and professional. Also, as stated, the results of Coolsculpting were good enough to refer a friend. Satisfied results came from the consulation ( Coolsculpting Staff) and the machine.

I had Coolsculpting done on my abdomen in Castellon's office. It was the most UNPROFESSIONAL office I have ever experienced. Rude and thoughtless staff. Unkempt rooms. No instructions as to what to bring or wear for the procedure. They seemed put out when I asked for a gown. I felt woozy afterwards and yet was rushed out of the office! Second visit, I was kept waiting for almost 2 hours with no apology. I referred a friend anyway because I was satisfied with the results, although the machine did all the work! The doctor wasn't even there! My friend pre-paid and was called the morning of the procedure as she was driving to their office & was told there was only one person who could perform the procedure (NOT the doctor) and she was out sick. Appointment cancelled by THEM! and they have refused her a refund! Avoid this place like the plague! You can get Coolsculpting in Vero Beach.

If you WANT to believe ALL the complaints against Dr. Castellon are false...you are an idiot! I went in for a consultation and was completely disappointed. The, 30 something, office nurse could not stop looking at herself in the mirror and was more fixated on her hair during then my consult. Tskihe Anesthetist could not stop yawning in my face while she determined I needed 5K worth of skin treatments but never examined me. She (the 20 year old professional) was so rude when I questioned her credentials and stormed out of the room. Dr. Castellon was pleasant in a game show host kind of way but seemed way too distracted by his female co-workers to trust him with my surgery. I left unimpressed but deiced to contact the Doctor with my concerns. After I left a message with his rude staff, he NEVER returned my call. If you trust this man, you're out of your mind!

It's ALSO funny that the same complaints were posted towards Dr. Lawler on the same dates under different names! These complaints are NOT real, it is an troll (someone who pretends to be someone else on the internet for the purpose of harming or interfering with a cause or another person) probably from a competitor who wants all the plastic surgery business and wants these other doctors to look bad. Or it could be a disgruntled employee who worked for them and got fired. Either way, these are not legitimate posts. I am having a procedure done by him in August and I have absulutely wonderful things about him (from real people, not internet trolls).

It's funny that Cybilk, FrKla, and Phyllis Dilberd (maybe PDilbert username aswell?) also posted these very similar complaints on Dr. Vitale-Lewis...Makes me think these aren't real complaints at all...i wouldn't take too much credit in those 3.

Dr. Castellon is an amazing Surgeon, He did the best job on my breast aug and my tummy tuck. Everyone in his office was so pleasant and very helpful from the very beginning. I would suggest him to anyone!

Dr. Mauricio Castellon is a fraud. He did my facelift and it is a hack job. My lips are crooked and he cut a nerve so I can barely smile. I cry when I look in the mirror. I wanted to look better and feel younger ... now I look like an accident victim and feel worse than ever. I am so sorry I ever met him.

He botched my nose. It had just a small hump. Dr. Castellon said he vcould just"shave" it off when he did my breasts. My breasts are good, my nose looked like a ski slope! Had to go to a specialist in town to fix. It cost me $12, 000 to fix and it looks a lot better but I would have been better off not doing anythng at all. Please do not go to Dr. Castellon.

I agree. I had a facelift by Dr. Maurico Castellon in Melbourne, Florida. He did a terrible job. I looked all pulled and awkward. I looked like Joan Rivers. I am so upset and very disappointed.
