Mattress Firm bed delivered on wrong date to someone other than me.

I made a purchase thru Mattress Firm's chat line on 7/6 for a bed and a platform that I specifically wanted for my daughter who is going to college. I asked the salesman if I could have it delivered/shipped to where my daughter will be living for the school year and was assured yes but he did explain it would be shipped by FedEx which was fine. I was told I would receive an email when the bed was ready to be shipped, but I never did. I needed the bed by 8/4/18 so I called about the bed on 7/30/18 only to find out the bed had been shipped to the address where my daughter was to live and someone other than myself signed for the bed which was delivered on 7/16 and 7/17 because there was the mattress and the platform. Someone signed for them but it was not me and I did not give permission for anyone to sign. I never received a tracking a number from Mattress Firm or FedEx so I had no idea the bed had been shipped until I called. I have been on the phone everyday this week with Mattress Firm trying to get this resolved and was told on 7/31/18 that a replacement bed was being shipped, a tracking number would be provided, and it was possible the bed would be expedited. Each person I talked to about this replacement bed lied and said it was either packaged already and waiting for a tracking number from FedEx. Finally on 8/2 in the afternoon after I had called in the morning and was told the bed was still waiting for FedEx to pick it up, a young man told me the bed was no longer available. UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT. I was told the bed was being replaced with another bed but it would take five to seven business days before it could be shipped. THAT SUCKS. I should not be penalized for Mattress Firm's and FedEx mistakes but I am. Not only am I not moving my daughter to school this weekend, I have no idea when I will be moving her, and nobody at Mattress Firm has reached out to me except the young man who called me to let me know the original bed I purchased is no longer available. I am a repeat customer and I do not appreciate this horrible customer service nor will I refer anyone to Mattress Firm. This situation has been handled in such an awful way and I really do not appreciate it. That bed should be expedited and we should have it ASAP but NO, that is not happening . Again, no one from Mattress Firm has reached out to me. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Mattress Firm sales person named rob at memorial west location memorial & thicket ln

After coming to agreement on a king size bed set, & taking all of my personal information, sosial security # address drivers license, my debit expieration date & my email taken by sales person claiming his manager & his name is Rob . he suddenly said there is a misunderstanding & the price is only for mattress alone .
So i askd him for his buisiness card with his full name on it . but he said he do not have it at the time . so i askd his full name . he said his name is Rob & thats it .
Now i need you to provide me his full name to prevent any identity theft or credit fraud . & its my right to have the sales person's buisiness card who has taken my identity information to finance me .

Mattress Firm mattress firm sleepys mattress

we purchased a mattress from mattress firm in charlottesville va. on june 19th 2018 in developed a soft spot in the center of bed within 30 days of purchasing/ when we called the office they claimed we couldnt return it/ so i loaded up the matress and returned it to the store i purchased from/ she the lady working that saturday was short/rude/ and said if i left the mattress it was going in the trash dumpster! will never do business with your company again and will tell everyone my story!

Mattress Firm poor customer service, shady business practices, refusal to cancel

Email to Mattress Firm is below. (easier than typing out all the facts)

I am emailing in regards to Order #S019104417 for an Infinity Chair purchased at the San Diego County Fair. I have been trying to cancel this order since 7/15/18 - LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER PURCHASING IT.

I have been in contact with the salesman Jon Santos via his cell number as well as "event center customer service" at [protected]. I have spoken to them on three occasions (case #[protected]) and they claim all they can do is send a "communication" to the salesperson as he is the only person that can cancel the order. To date, those three "communications" have not received a response.

The salesperson has said through text that he has cancelled the order but will not provide me with a cancellation number. Mattress Firm event center customer service has confirmed today that the order is still open and that they can't help me - all they can do is send a message to Jon Santos.

He continues to ignore these requests and I was told there is no one above him that I can get in touch with, how am I supposed to cancel this order? I find it hard to believe that he is the be all, end all - the only person within the corporation with the power to cancel and order. I believe he is intentionally ignoring this request in order to push the chair order through delivery. I am assuming he gets paid commission if the sale goes through.

I am being bullied by your company and I am fed up. I was/am well within my right to cancel - per the contract. I am astonished Mattress Firm's lack of customer service and shady business practices.

Mattress Firm awful rude service & show bias

I will not give any single star to this store at all if I could especially, GORDON a lady who is extremely rude and unprofessionally sale person I had ever encounter in my life. She is biased against me who is an Asian lady who walked into her store yesterday. We were there to try out a mattress that was originally purchased from Mattress Firm in another state waiting to make an exchange for another brand. We had received a square king size mattress that was 4" inches short, 76" Sq. it should be 76"x80" inches.
Since we were unable to make it to the Mattress Firm in WI this week, we thought it should be fine and convenience to walk into any nearby Mattress Firm store from our home overall they are the same companies. BIG MISTAKES!
My husband had called her beforehand to find out do they carry Simmons Hartfield which was recommended by our WI store. We were there in and out for less than 10mins for a tryout. She digs into our phone record and locates the store where we bought from in WI. She called the store up and make a big fuss and complaint that we were there shopping around for a better price. The salesman in WI called me and asked what were we doing behind his back. I went back to ask her today, she did not even want to listen to my explanation instead she walked towards the entrance and open the door several times and asked me to leave now. She said we were dishonest to her. First, she did not ask us had we purchased any Mattress recently. Not our fault right? But she claimed that we should tell her the moment we walked in. She was the only one on the floor and was busy serving another customer. She even claimed the store has the right to digs into every customer motive by walking in to protect them, for what? Her COMMISSIONS!. She even called herself an honest person that she had sold the mattress to the customer yesterday and called me a liar! She kept asking me to leave the store and she did not want to see me again. She yelled at me, you are more welcome to leave a NEGATIVE feedback for this store and file a complaint to the corporate as she had already earned many good reviews from other customers.
Her attitude was awful, ugly and unthinkable yelling at me in the store. This is not the way to do business.
Customers BEWARE! the moment you walked in be prepared to spend $$$ nothing else is acceptable because of her commission and time spend with you and do remember never ever give out your phone contacts.

I will NOT recommend this store to anyone. Asian please stay AWAY! We do not deserve this from her and STOP giving her any business. Please shop somewhere else who are professionally trained and well respect to us.

Mattress Firm queen size mattress

I purchased my Queen size mattress and box springs in February 2017. I am the only one that sleeps in it, except when a grand child or friend spends the night. It does not feel as firm as it was new. It now has sunk in the middle so when two people occupy the bed you have a tendency to roll into the middle. This causes my hips and shoulder to hurt. I am a left side sleeper and have a tendency to hug the edge but when someone else sleeps in the bed, it draws me towards the center of the bed.

Everyone that has slept in it complains of the shoulder and hip pain, no matter their age.

my purchase i started getting bitten by at that time by something but could not figure out what was going on. On July the 3rd we notice that my mattress is infested with Bed Bugs. I reached out to the store when i made it home from work and took pictures of how bad this actually is. The store clerk was unable to help me. I was given an 1-866 # in which we were unable to actually to get a person. I was then given an web to go to. Unacceptable. I had togo to the emergency room in which was embarrassing. I was separated and placed in the hall in quarantine because of the Bed Bugs. Also iam unable to go into my bedroom because of the Bed Bugs. I have reached out to Fox News and are waiting a reply as well as an Attorney. My Life is ruined as this minute and you guys must pay for all of this. I have eggs, Bed Bugs all around the rim of my head Board. My whole bedroom is ruined as well as my clothing. everything. i need to hear from you asap. i will see to it that you are exposed to what you have done to me if i do not hear from you. Asap. cannot sleep in my bedroom unacceptable. Unhappy, hurt.

I recently purchase a mattress/bed from Mattress Firm in Chicopee, MA, in April 2018. It has been only a month and a half and my boyfriend and I have been waking up with bites all over. We decided to check the mattress, even though it was a new mattress. and found a bunch of
bed bugs. We have spent hours cleaning / vaccuming the bedroom and house. We are now in fear of going to bed and know that this
issue will be ongoing. I have never gone through this in my entire life and could not understand how this occurred as we have not been
out of state and or out of town for that matter. I plan to call the BBB and file a complaint with mattresss firm.

Mattress Firm mattress purchased on sale

Today my new mattress was delivered it is not the same mattress I tried at the showroom. The showroom salesmen had me lay on a soft comfortable double mattress I purchased a twin. This twin mattress is hard and I'm unable to sleep on it. He convinced me to pay 1, 100.00 for a clearance model. I was unaware that clearance models were previously owned mattress that's horrible! I'm so upset, I will be writing many reviews about mattress fire and they was they conduct business to let the consumer know what their really in for

Mattress Firm took my money but did not deliver mattress!!!

I ordered and paid for a mattress from Mattress Firm. They took the full amount of the purchase out of my bank account and we set a delivery time between 5pm and 10pm. When 8:30pm rolled around, I called to check on the delivery and was told that my order had not uploaded in their system and there is nothing they can do to help me at this time. So they have $1k of my money and I have no bed to sleep on this weekend. I have a severe ankle injury, waited all night for my mattress to be delivered and now I have no bed to sleep on. This has caused me both physical and emotional distress. I can't even go out and buy another mattress because they say they can't get me my money back right now. Never in my life would I have ever imagined that a company like Mattress Firm would do something like this.

Mattress Firm employee behavior

I am writing to inform you of an employee who told said she supposedly "banned"me from all of your Mattress from stores and I have never set foot or made a purchase in any of your stores or done anything to not be able to shop in your stores and it is unprofessional and unbecoming of a salesperson to act in this manner toward a potential customer just because of her "personal problems". This is very unprofessional and a employee of this nature makes me think she isn't right in the head mentally and should not be a salesperson representing your store if she acts like this in the workplace. I am very upset although I know that it isn't true and plan to pursue legal action because of defament of my name.

Mattress Firm sales

My son needed a bed. We visited the Belknap Mattress Firm. He liked it the best after leaving to try others. We returned for the memorial day sale. Greeted then ignored. Yelled at and overcharged. By the manager, Christopher Shaw. The experience was THE WORST I have ever experienced in all my years of shopping. Mr. Shaw is either in need of retraining or new employment. I would really, really like to talk to someone about our experience. Please reach out to me. But for the local consumer, shop online. Shame on you, for treating people who are trying to spend their money locally to support local employees. I have 4 beds in my home, 3 of them will not be replaced with your product as this stands.

Mattress Firm mattress

On 2/19/2018, I visited my local Mattress Firm location in Yonkers, NY - I was met by a woman named Nancy. She was sure to tell me about their 120-day no questions ask policy, however, she did not tell me that I would incur a $79.00 delivery fee if I decided to return the mattress.

On April 16th, [Monday] I called to inform Nancy of my decision to return the mattress. The end result was she would have to speak to her manager and get back to me by Friday. I did not hear from them, so I called again on April 22nd [Sunday] and was transferred to her manager, Charlie, who began with a song and a dance; finally, he told me that he would have to get his district manager, David, approval for the return. Seriously! What happened to the 120-day no question ask policy? Their customer service delivery is poor and deceptive. I read many reviews about Mattress Firm where unwitting customers like myself were scammed when trying to return a mattress. Mattress Firm should be required to post a sign in all their stores informing customers that their very generous 120-day return policy comes with a $79.00 delivery fee if you dare to return your purchase. Their behavior is shameful, and I need to be reimbursed the $79.00.

Mattress Firm delivery of mattress

My daughter purchased a mattress (no box springs) from Matteess Firm about a month ago. We were told that the delivery crew would remove the old bed. When the mattress was delivered, the crew refused to take the old box springs and only hauled away the old mattress. Now we are left with disposing of the box springs and not sure what to do with it. Why were we not told that only the old mattress would be hauled away. Not shopping at Mattress Firm ever again.

Mattress Firm customer service

I purchased my Tulo mattress and frame on march 5th at the Mattress Firm on 939 E Broadway Rd Tempe, AZ. The ETA on my order was made that day for March 24th due to the current promotion on the mattress and the store being out of stock. Mattress firm had 19 entire days to review my order and notify me with any changes to my delivery date. Finally, it's the day of delivery, my boyfriend took the entire day off in advance to be here when the mattress gets arrives because I was extremely busy, working getting ready to have surgery on Monday, March 25th. I scheduled the delivery to take place sometime between 12:00pm-7:00pm and at exactly 10:39am I get a call from "Scott" telling me their was an error with my order and it won't be arriving until Sunday, March 25th. I received that call 1 hour and 20 minutes away from the expected delivery time; an hour and 20 minutes when mattress firm had 19 DAYS to review and make the necessary adjustments to my order. Instead, they decided to neglect the fact that I, the customer, am sacrificing my time and schedule while making special arrangements to make this delivery possible. I would have picked up the mattress myself had I known my time wasn't respected. When I spoke with Scott he said there's absolutely nothing he can do to make the delivery happen that day (3/24), he apologized and said "you should've been called yesterday (3/23) but I don't know why you weren't", which is absolutely inexcusable. He offered to upgrade my purchase with a box spring and refund the $99 cost of my frame.
First off, if I wanted a box spring I would have purchased a box spring. Second, (I don't realize this until later) the frame that I was presumptuously upgraded to is just a regular twin/queen/king universal frame. The frame that I chose in store was a slatted frame for my foam mattress, keep in mind I didn't want a box spring. So, now if I want a lower mattress, like I envisioned during my purchase, I will have to go out and purchase a slatted frame. I told Scott that this wasn't an acceptable offer. I was then told by him that's all he could do, that the price I got my mattress for was already a good enough deal. I got the impression from him that I should be grateful for the price that Mattress Firm was selling mattresses. He implied that he was doing me a favor by selling me the mattress at a discounted price despite the fact that I bought the mattress at the price that it was listed. We did not negotiate the price of the mattress down from a higher amount. The price the mattress was listed at the time of purchase does not in any way make up for the ineptitude of Mattress Firm in this situation, and the insinuation that I should not be upset over the situation because of the already listed mattress price is insulting.

I had to take an unexpected and inconvenient day off of work the following day because Mattress firm was carless with my time.

It''s unfortunate that the customer service I receive was absolutely appalling, because I'm actually happy with my mattress. If I was treated better as a customer spending a lot of money on your products I would be more inclined to refer people.

Mattress Firm delivery

I had already purchased 2 full size mattress sets and a king size mattress set before this recent purchase of another full size mattress set. Saleswoman was AWESOME! Delivery was a TOTAL train wreck! Not 1 but 2 delivery men showed up. Not one of them spoke a lick of English! Why on earth would ANY company send 2 men on a delivery when they do NOT speak or understand English?! I did not purchase bed frame for this set, I already had more than a handful in the house that were not in use. When delivery men showed up...wow! We could NOT communicate with them at all! We had numerous bed frames to use but had one already in room where purchased set was to go. Delivery men left BRAND NEW box spring & mattress on the floor! Did not want to be bothered with the frame! This set cost me near $800! I did NOT finance! It was PAID IN FULL! An almost $800 full box spring & mattress set were put on the floor! No communication with delivery men because they did NOT speak English! I had even purchased the $100 cover for the mattress to protect it! These guys left mattress set on the floor! Spoke with I assume was a manager at local store...he was NO help! Was pretty much outright RUDE! Making excuses as to it being POLICY that delivery men put mattress set on the floor because I did not purchase a frame from them! Seriously?! I had planned on purchasing 2 more mattress sets at Mattress Firm for my son who just bought a house. Due to this HORRIBLE experience I will NEVER again purchase from Mattress Firm! I will also go out of my way to be sure everyone & anyone I come in contact with is made aware of this HORRIBLE experience AND poor customer service received from Mattress Firm! I am a VERY Unhappy Customer!

Mattress Firm greenwood firm mattress full size

I own eastport music scene 374 montauk hwy eastport ny 11941. My sister, linda peterson, purchased a greeenwood firm mattress full size along with a frame. The mattress is suppose to be "firm". Unfortunately, it is the complete opposite of a "firm" mattress. You have a little saying "if you're not having a better night's sleep, contact your sleep consultant at your local store." that being said, this mattress is either defective or we were shipped a "soft" mattress. When a person under 175 lbs sits on this mattress it goes completely flat. It's not at all firm and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Basically, it's no good and as stated before it is either defective or we were sent a "soft" mattress. This is terrible.

Mattress Firm my queen size mattress

to whom it may concern:
on the above date my queen size mattress was replaced with a new one. In less than the three month trial period the store that i purchased it from came to the conclusion that it was defective. At no fault of mine, i still had to pay a delivery fee. What's happened to treating customers fairly and actually caring? is everything just about making money? even if the customer is right?

it's now been four months since i've had the second mattress. The delivery guy set it up for me and took off the plastic. It seemed fine at the time. I always sleep in the middle of the bed where my body finally adjusted to it. But then came a second problem. Yesterday i turned my mattress because they say you should do this every three to four months. When i sat on the top corner i could feel and hear the springs of the bed. It felt like i had the first mattress again. This is ridiculous.

I think it's great that it has a ten year warranty. But it would be nice to have it without any defects for at least two or three years. I refuse to pay any fees, pickup or delivery charges for something that wasn't my fault.

I am on disability and i am paying off this bed set monthly with finance charges. I apologize for being so harsh, but i suffer from back pain, neuropathy and fibromyalgia. Not being able to sleep comfortably makes it worse.

Appreciated reading your concerns.

The reason for the delivery fee is not just because of delivering the product but, as you've admitted, "The delivery guy set it up for me and took off the plastic."

Whereas this is the second mattress you're having problems with, it is very possible your using it in such a way as it was not intended. All mattress' are provided with weight limitations and placing too much on any design will cause the support to sag. Without having access to the exact mattress and box springs, which you hopefully purchased along with the mattress, I could't give you exact weight limitations. Also, in order to exchange the mattress, it's required that you've purchased a cover to protect the mattress from any fluids which may impact the performance of the design. Again, hopefully you've done so.

If you'd like to supply the updated information, we'd be glad to supply you with any required information.

Mattress Firm dream bed lux mattress purchase/delivery

We purchased a split king dream bed lux from the Gresham station, Gresham, Oregon store. The delivery crew came out to deliver and they damages our walls up our hallway, baseboards, door casings and the footboard of our new bed frame purchase a week before the delivery. We just completed a remodel of these areas a week prior to the delivery and now we have to redo all the paintwork. We notified Mattress Firm when we purchased to be careful when they deliver as we just painted and remodeled. The delivery crew were leaning up against our walls and doors without any regard for our work on our home. They brought the mattress in and it had a tear in the movable base. We brought it the delivery crews attention and they said "were putting the mattres over it, you'll never see it." This is unacceptable. The delivery men threw cords and boxes on top of our new bedroom furniture without any regard that it could scratch it. We refused the delivery and asked to be sent a new undammaged one. We took at least 30 photos of the damages and informed the store what happened. We emailed the photos to the store. We are now going into a second week and we still have not had anyone come out to inspect the damage or assure us that the damages would be handled. Since Mattress Firm contracted the delivery company, it would be Mattress Firm who should be handing/addressing the damages. We have been contacted by a man named Jeff who advised that he would pass my number to the delivery driver manager. At this time, we have been told the people who were contacting us was not the right person and that they would also forward my number to the right person. So far, we feel we are getting the run around and told that we would be contacted to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and look at the damages. We are beyond frustrated at this point and ready to return the entire purchase. This is just not how we do business and don't appreciate disrespect of our property. We now have to hire our painter again to fix the damages and replace our brand new footboard. I ask that Mattress Firm look into this issue and rectify this situation immediately. We are very upset and very frustrated.

Mattress Firm salesman lied to me

I came to the store and purchased a king size mattress . The salesman asked me for my checking account saying that the credit company wants to see if I bounced any checks so I can get credit for a mattress under $100.00 payment plan.
I purchased a mattress however, Progressive was taking out of each paycheck money which I never authorized. I told them what the salesman did and said I can only afford around $100.00 a month . Progressive wants around $258 .00 a month which I can't afford. I'm a single hard working mom . The salesman wasn't honest with me and now I owe big time & cant afford this payment. How can we resolve this matter ?
